Murdoch17 Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 I'd love if LEGO releases a city subtheme called City 1920's with buildings, cars and citizen from that decade Thanks for the info Klaus! I second the idea for 1920's CITY: it would fit in perfectly with the Adventurers stuff I have built / official sets, since the time of the Egypt theme is officially set in 1922 according to the Scooby Doo museum set's Johnny Thunder sticker. just2good Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 I just want some more civilian things in 2016. Like, LEGO had that dope Town Square this year... do more stuff like that. Quote
Artifex Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 I just want some more civilian things in 2016. Like, LEGO had that dope Town Square this year... do more stuff like that. Agreed! It would be awesome if Lego released more civilian sets for City! Town Square 2015 FTW! What a great set! Quote
Robert8 Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 What are the chances of getting an Emergency/Hospital subtheme next year? It's been a while since the last one. Quote
ilikeboomerang1 Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 What are the chances of getting an Emergency/Hospital subtheme next year? It's been a while since the last one. If they do, I hope they do it right. No raised baseplate or that stuff. Quote
CM4Sci Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 How about something new like a Zoo subtheme? We've been needing one. Quote
P3_Super_Bee Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Anyone know if/when these sets are avaliable outside LEGO stores and TRU? Like Target? Asking because neither the Target or Wal-Mart near has the new City sets. There's no TRU around where I live. Target by my house has had a couple of the Deep Sea sets since they came out. Quote
Bennemans Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 I'm seriously considering asking Lego's Customer Support if I can buy a spare sticker sheet, instead of having to shell out $190 for it. Why don't you just buy the sticker sheet on BrickLink? Quote
frog4gators Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 What are the chances of getting an Emergency/Hospital subtheme next year? It's been a while since the last one. We need a decent ambulance. Quote
TheLegoPerson9 Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Target by my house has had a couple of the Deep Sea sets since they came out. Yeah, I found the new stuff at Target last Saturday. So, it's all good now. What are the chances of getting an Emergency/Hospital subtheme next year? It's been a while since the last one. Yeah, I hope we get a Hospital subtheme next year. I want a new ambulance set. Quote
ilikeboomerang1 Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 I would like to see a subtheme called CITY Suburbs that sells houses at medium prices. There would probably be a renter in each set. Quote
Roebuck Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Farm or zoo would be great! Or if i am dreaming ; a forrest subtheme with deers Quote
Vorkosigan Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 In case people haven't seen, the 30315: Space Utility Vehicle (previously gift with purchase) can now be found in some Targets in the US. I picked one up today, that had a bunch mixed in with the go kart set. Quote
Zusammengebaut Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 (edited) Hey, this is the "Space Utility Vehicle" Polybag, you will get in the US in August with purchases of $75 and more in the Lego Stores and lego.com. In Germany, I have found this one last week as a polybag (4 Euro). And the images you can find right here. This is a fine small space-set with 37 pieces and one astronaut. Best wishes Andres Edited July 24, 2015 by Zusammengebaut Quote
XAxles Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) I still haven't seen PDF's for the Great Vehicles sets on Brickset. There's already PDF's for Deep Sea and Space and the City Square, but still nothing for the other GV sets. Edited July 27, 2015 by XAxles Quote
jonwil Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 The official LEGO instructions site at http://service.lego.com/en-gb/buildinginstructions lists the Great Vehicles sets and has PDFs of them so the Bricklink thing must just be a glitch in the Brickset system (or something wrong with the data Brickset uses to identify instructions in the TLG database) Quote
ThePlasticWerks Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Exclusive minifig from the Official Book Guide to Minifigures. I guess he should have worn a helmet... Does this increase the value of the original skateboarder Minifig? Did Lego actually kill off one of their characters? Quote
ilikeboomerang1 Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Until when will the review page be changed to show 2015 set reviews? Quote
Umbra-Manis Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Do we know anything regarding Bricktober sets for this year? I believe i found evidence that they will be as follows. Apologies if these have been found before. Toys R Us Store Bakery Train Station Hotel Quote
Brandysnaps92 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Just got the city square in NZ for $299, bit on the expensive side but I think its definitely worth it, A sweet set with lots of possibility, my transport hub finally has a ticket machines! Ive made a mod of the lego store incorporating it into the modular grand emporium on one side. Next up is to modify the car sales and service building next to my 50th anniversary Octan petrol station. The one down side is the helicopter, while it is a pretty cool helicopter it is my 10th. CM4Sci Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 New Advent Calendar has been spotted in a TRU! Quote
Gorki247 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 (edited) I find the advent calendar to be disappointing every year. Too similar to last year's. I understand having Santa and the x-mas tree in there every year, but the other stuff especially the robber and police could do with a bit of a mix up. Edited August 14, 2015 by Gorki247 Quote
The Cobra Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand we're back to only 6 minifigs... To save you time: 2005 / 2006 = 9 2007 = 8 2008 = 10! 2009 = 8 2010/2011 = 6 2012 = 7 2013 = 8 2014 = 7 2015 = 6 While this new calendar also has some good new minibuilds (Shuttle, Santa's seat) and features (husky dog), they once again give us less-than-average tree and snowman. I just found 60063 for a cheap price and promply bought it, I think I can skip 60099. Quote
lightningtiger Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 The new advent calendar is a tad on the lame side sorry to say, the only neat things are the model vehicles and Santa's little train. Apart from that, it's a meh from me. Quote
