You know as I actually write it out it dawns on me that Lego City might actually be more violent than a Grand Theft Auto game?

They should just rename Lego City to "Lego GTA". It would at least explain the amount of police the city has. :classic:

Plus I still want proper prostitute torso's for my cities nightlife...

LEGO City Undercover is essentially LEGO Grand Theft Auto, sans "a certain female NPC job role"/violent deaths/non-comical violence in general. Also, you play through it from a cop's perspective, instead than that of a gang member.

Michael De Stud, Franklin Clutchton and Trevor Brickips.

I bet that 60070 will be an exclusive Swamp Police set. So for 2015 we have minimum the set numbers 60077-60080 and 60087 left. And I counted it together and 2013 and 2014 saw 26-27 City sets (including limited edition and exclusive sets, but excluding promos).

Taking into account that a Harbor theme would need 4-5 sets, there could be still four more sets for one more theme like emergency, farm (but I don't think we'll get a farm theme because of Friends) or something other. What do you think?

Even Harbor I would love, as long as there is something original. I know there has to be a cargo harbor, I understand, for little kids, but I would love if there was, like, a retail exclusive $100 yacht, that has the old ship body, or something else original.

What I would love would be an exclusive tour boat, not from the city subtheme, but creator expert, there could be about 3 decks, and some details, like the cabin, a pool, and some sun chairs. The hull would be brick built. It WOULD be about $200, but it would be very big. I may actually start a topic for this...

I completely agree with you, HomerJSimpson!

And if TLG released it as a car ferry (where you could have a cabin and some sun chairs, too), then even kids would like it since there could be cars, trucks and cycles to roll on and off the ferry. Playmobil released a car ferry some time ago - so why shouldn't Lego do so, too?!

I think this might be a bit off topic, but does anybody know if the City Corner set was ever rereleased last year? I wanted to get but coudn't find it anywhere. Thanks.

It was in some European countries, limited re-release 60031 and all but gone as far as I know (they never made it to Australia).

euros in german

Looking at these prices my wallet is starting to cry.....or is it just me, ouch in Oz dollars most great vehicle sets will be 30 bucks again.

Plus it's water police not swamp police.......dam, we need some images but those are still weeks away.....fingers crossed

Wasn't there a rumored city starter set for 2015?

Still waiting for the pics .......

Where did you find that list? Because that doesn't seem correct at all, to me at least.

Names and posted prices seem correct:

There is another set - demolition site with structure, demolitio crane, truck and excavator

My opinion: swamp police looks very fresh and original.. All helicopter have floats and most boats are swamp type (with large fans at back). Demolition is not htat good. Looks like just another construction theme. Only interesting thing might be demolishing with large steel ball (if its steel).

All pictures here! Ctrl + F City

A lot of female criminals this time around. :look:

YES. This is exactly what I was hoping for when I heard it was Swamp Police. Hovercrafts, airboats, pontoon helicopters and hillbilly crooks. Love these designs.

The construction stuff looks a little spotty but I like some of it. The truck carrying off the in-use porta-john is a nice touch.

Also, FINALLY a Lego City Snowplow. The new parts used for the plow look epic and I can't wait to see what else they can be used for.

I pray that a motor is included with the speedboat.

Construction equipment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cry_happy: im just so happy

AWESOME.......wrecking a toilet, that is so Young Ones !

I'm sold on all of them including the great vehicles because they are all a bit different than other similar sets.......a dune buggy !

The little fire starter set seems to be set at a fuel depot....note the Octan colours.

I see sand green brick-bricks.....

At last picture to drool over for the next few months......reverse engineering time !

The police sets look great! I like some of the other ones, but the demolition site looks like it is a juniors set. I'm very disappointed with that.

EDIT: It's a shame that there are no pics of the police station, but oh well...

Oh, dear.....sounds like an exclusive maybe ?

So they're re-using the "Forest Police" (park ranger) torsos/hats from 2012. I like.

I wasn't going to buy any of this police wave because I've got plenty of regular cops, but I'm a sucker for the park ranger Legos. Probably because I am a park ranger :P

Edited by polarscribe

We dont know for sure they are re-using the same torsos, remember these are preliminary images so the use of the old forest police stuff might be placeholders.

The small tow truck looks great and I'll have to get a couple of snow plows to modify to other unimog models. I like the designs in the demolition sets, maybe LEGO wants us to clear room for more buildings? The rest of the sets aren't really that appealing to me though, my police force and fire brigade have enough equipment and people as-is.
