legoman19892 Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 (edited) The Luftwolf resides in the Lone Mountain and can be seen gliding the skies around the Dune Sea. They feed on east, dying, or already dead animals and are very aggressive. Their ears are capable of hear noised from very far away to hone in on prospective meals. The people who reside near Lone Mountain who had previously tried to fend off the Luftwolf from their livestock stumbled upon a Luftwolf who had bloodshot eyes and seemed distant and subjective. It was later found going through it's massive droppings that it had digested one of the local's recreational plants. This Luftwolf named Redeye remained obedient and the residents of Lone Mountain were able to train Redeye and used him for travel across Historica. Instead of trying to fend off the Luftwolf, the residents set bait filled with the recreation substance, once a Luftwolf eats the drug, they are sent to a camp for training and for living. The trained Luftwolfs are fed livestock and are given lots of time for play. They are used travel most of the time or warfare if necessary, by attaching weapons to the saddle. Stats: 30 feet long/tall 36 foot wingspan 500 pounds eye turn a permanent red after digestion of a recreational substance Flight Equiptment: bit chains saddle chest backpack LDD file: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/legoman19892/LDD/luftwolf.lxf Edited July 15, 2014 by legoman19892 Quote
Jorrith Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 Would love to see a side view, those eyes are an excellent choice! Quote
LordDan Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 (edited) Are you sure its smart for the locals to be flying a LuftWolf while using these "recreational plants"? I like how the full sized LuftWolf contrasts with the micro LuftWolf and the micro city. It really gives the impression of soaring high up in the sky. Edited July 14, 2014 by LordDan Quote
TheUtilityBelt Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Beautiful... The eyes look great and the concept is awesome! Quote
Duvors Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Flying wolves, the three little piggies are doomed! That is one awesome idea. Quote
MKJoshA Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Great concept! I love your backstory to the whole thing. Quote

All it does is make them obedient, doesn't affect motor skills. As far as the locals using the plants? We are still collecting statistics on crashes. Edited July 15, 2014 by legoman19892 Quote
plew2000 Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 The eyes are very unique and fit well. The wings look good but they might look even cooler if you used the large bat wings. Keep it up! Quote

soccerkid6 Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Cool creature. I like the face shape a lot, and those eyes are pretty scary The wings look a little blocky, using wedge plates, or even just staggering the tiles a bit would probably help with that Quote
Gabe Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Great entry Legoman, love the FP especially, it works really well. Those eyes are cool/creepy too! Quote
Yzalirk Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 This is a very neat concept, it reminds me of the Thunderbird! Not the cars but the mythological creature. Quote
Scaevola Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Nice micro city, and the tiles work well for almost a gliding-type set of wings Quote
Gunman Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Nice last photo showing its face :) FP work there is coolio too! Quote
