Congratulations to all team and supporters for this great idea!

I can say that we had many AFOLs from Brazil and Portugal that justifies the thank you in portuguese.

OBRIGADO! :classic:

So, what are the stretch goals on this baby? I halfway remember something about an interface designer, but the kickstarter page doesn't seem to mention what happens when more money is raised.

I can't find the stretch goals anymore either.

One of them was the stairtop design and another was indeed the interface designer.

Won't take long before an SBricker will answer this question.

Fiddlesticks. Found it. Next goals:

£100.000 Stair top design of the brick (can we get a look of what the non-stairtop design looks like?)

£140.000 a profile designer to create remote control profiles

£160.000 chiptuning features

I would really like that profile designer.

Hey, SB guys; now that the initial funding has come together, putting the stretch goals (using that exact term) on top of the kickstarter page should be a priority. Those are some really worthwhile features.

Congratulations!

Really hope the stretch goals of a profile designer can be achieved. However, considering the money remained to go, it seems to be a hard mission. However, this is really a attracting feature...

I thought that the current design is already a stair-top design or have I missed something? Hopefully someone from SBrick team can explain the difference between £60.000 and £100.000 goal's design.

I have a question to the Sbrick team: how much would cost (more or less) a single Sbrick once on production? Let's say on december I head to your website/online shop looking for an Sbrick...what's the price I'll be finding for it? :sweet:

Pretty sure it's 40 GBP... That's how I read the Kickstarter description.

Now that it has hit the mark, some people who previously saw this and didn't back, will do so now, on the grounds that they didn't want to support something that might fail. Hopefully, they also get a nice, strong final push. I think we'd all love to see it start hitting stretch goals.

Your card will be charged only if the funding is successful, meaning that if they failed reaching the goal of 60K, no backers would be charged. So it is not more risky being a early backer than a late one.

While that is true about no more risk of backing early, projects that make it always seem to get a rush of money towards the end. I always wonder what were those people waiting for.

I found this quite confusing too, as all the images show the stairtop design. But according to the text, that is only coming with the £100K mark.

Good new is that the flat-top version will be much slimmer than the

stair-top, and therefore easier to hide.

Is the design of the Flat-top version like this prototype?

The first stretch goal we would like to reach is at 100.000 GBP. Of we reach this limit, the stair top design of the SBrick will go into production.

Over the last month we had heated debates within our team and got to the conclusion, that we will manufacture the stair top design even if we do not reach the first stretch goal. We got to this conclusion because it is simply much better to build with.

There are financial implications, we might have to apply for external financing in order to have the funds for this more expansive design, but we believe in delivering the best to you even if we have to take higher risks.

Thank you and please help us get closer to the 100.000 stretch (funding) goal.

Thanks for your reply Lénárd.

Great to hear that you have chosen the stair-top design, even if this mean a higher financial risk. At first I wasn't sure whether the stair-top design is better, but after some more consideration it's clear that being able to route the wires at the same side is a great benefit.

We will keep supporting your project till the last minute

Alright, info about design chosen for £60K is a bit confusing now. The webpage on Kickstarter shows design like on 2nd picture below, however this is what I understand is called a "stair-top" design and was planned to be available by reaching £100K. So, do you mean current backers will receive SBrick of a design showed on a picture number 1???
