Is there any chance for a Windows application to control VIA PC with Bluetooth?

We will publish an opensource client for it. Now, we are focusing on software development on the mobile/phone apps and the profile designer service.

Can this be paired directly to a xbox 360/ONE controller or a standard RC radio controller?

We can support hw joystick from the APP. So probably any joy will work which can pairable with the mobile OS.

Good news for android phone owners without BLE support: we're working on a solution for you. If you have an Android device that runs at least 3.1, you will be able to control an SBrick with BlueGiga's BLED112 dongle, connected to the phone with an "On The Go" or "OTG" cable. NO rooting will be necessary. We plan to roll out this feature in Q1 2015, hang on tight.

I am totally confused with BLE. I searched online and

It says that my phone (samsung galaxy mega 6.3) has android 4.2.2 and BT4(BLE)...but someone here wrote before that Android 4.2.2 cant have BLE.

Do we have complete list of supported devices?

My project has finished (that is to say, on hold until it can be revived, without creating speculation that it will indeed continue...)

However I stumbled accross the huge amount of sbrick discussion on the net as the whole, this thread seems to have the most discussion/information.

I want to tell you that everything about it sounds fantastic, but also that it may take my idea to the next level.

My project was called Lego Robot Wars (often abbreviated to LRW) with 7 series which can be seen on Youtube.

Being restricted to 4 channels meant that most matches where 1-on-1, with the occasional 3-way whereby competitors could only use one half of a channel per weapon and one competitor would have no active weapon at all.

It seems like the sbrick will eliminate three issues I came across with regards to control:

1) exposed expensive piece (not good in the circumstances, also imposed the overall look)

2) sometimes lack of sight (loss of control)

3) limit to two channels per competitor (during 1-on-1 matches)

But it will also mean - if I am understanding correctly - that with the 4 channel limit lifted many competitors could compete at once, with more than two channels available per competitor (more weapons/righters/lights/effects/etc).

Apologies to anyone alienated by the robot-wars-related jargon I have used! Anyone confused I will be happy to elaborate on the poject : )

Is their an interface for controlling RC vehicles that use tank-style steering? As that is what nearly all competitors would use. I feel the game pad control might be ideal here - set of controls for drive and triggers/buttons for the weaponry/accessories.

This would seriously aid my dream of taking LRW to the next level; i.e. from my old bedroom to larger scale public events!

ADDITION! Forgot to ask - I think I read in a previous post that the app would also tell you the remaining battery life - is this correct?

I've read that it can support more motors (because as the V2 is, it can eats the batteries faster).

You can always use multiple batteries even right now... A custom LiPo would be awesome.

The problem is that i need to connect each rc motor to a rechargeable battery in order to have the power I need... The sbrick has a single input tho so how can I do?

You use the Sbrick the same way you already use th PF IR - it also has a single input. So if you want all that power:

- use 2 SBricks, one for each RC motor, each with its own battery

- use 1 SBrick with both RC motors and use just one LEGO battery, probably you would want to mod it to overcome maximum current limitation but in that case...

- use 1 SBrick with both RC motors and just use a custom SOLID battery
