dignow Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 This is our take on a little town travel agency. When pulling together our ideas for the place we ran across some really awesome 'vintage' travel posters for fictional locations so we decided to do a two sided travel agency - downstairs you can book traditional travel and vacations and upstairs we can book you into almost any fantasy vacation imaginable. From Hogwarts and Middle Earth to Arakis and Pandora to the worlds of Star Wars, Serenity, and Star Trek. We tried to make some displays for the window and feel we got the gist of it right but may try to fine tune them a bit in the future - downstairs we have a tropical island/cruise thing going on and upstairs there's a rocket to a ringed planet. Anyways, hope you enjoy. As always, if you'd like to see more feel free to click here or here. Quote
ItsaBRICKS Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Fantastic work as always! Is this supposed to be a special sort of corner building or is the diagonal door just for show? Looks great regardless! Quote
Modelmaker Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Brings back memories of when our company used to make ship and plane display models for those kind of shops. Not many of them left now a days sign me up for a trip to serenity valley... I'll just grab my brown coat Quote
lightningtiger Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Great modular 'dignow'.....though the timing of having a MOC about travel and having a rocket in the same picture.....yeah, not good right now ? Positioned at the same angle....yeah, sadly poor timing ......but still it's great work and I like the posters.....Brick On 'dignow' ! Quote
cgarison Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Awesome posters in the background. I love the style of this building and it would look right at home in some of the lifestyle centers that we have in America like the Easton Town Center in Columbus, OH. The only thing this place needs is a poster for that tour to Middle Zealand. That is the hot place to travel if you are from Bricksburg. (Why does Bricksburg not end with an "H" like Pittsburgh or have I lived in Pennsylvania for too many years.?) Quote
dignow Posted July 22, 2014 Author Posted July 22, 2014 UGGGHHH!!! How could I have forgotten Middle Zealand/Cloud Cockoo Land/Bricksburg in my posters? That may be cause to try and slip in a couple new posters. Quote
