15x9", 1869 pieces, $199.99. I believe I read VIP members get to buy in August? Fantastic news. Can't wait to see who designs an "ultimate" edition.

Those hubs, isn't anything odd about the shape? Perhaps there is more to them than it looks at first sight.

Seem gold coloured versions of the 42000 hubs but with one of these attached 4296946.jpg ?

Ye I think that is it , I was taking a close look cause if I can get this set I will try motorize it !

From the pics it looks like it might be a tight fit , might have to remove the interior .

You probably have to think about functional steering first :wink:

Those tyres look to be perfect, for a lot of things. They are huge, they have a nice profile. I think they would work great on, well, anything really. :D I want them. Right now, if possible :P

Rest of the set looks awesome as well by the way. But I don't care about the gold hubs - who needs gold hubs? But I want those tyres. :D

That yellow part looksI like it but I fail at see how the hubs match :sceptic: Is it the rear hub sideways? I am not sure If there is a pinhole there and even if that is true, what keeps the hub in place? Just trying to figure how it works.

I think its the perspective playing with our minds

it does look like a rear hub sideways with the 'kingpin' being one of the holes

steering arm attached the other...so it does look like it will have steering after all.....

<pure speculation>

though probably with an exagerated ackermann geometry ?

and the HOG of course may be the rocket exhaust at the back?

</pure speculation>

Very nice wheels with brand new thread pattern.

Good possibility for Technic designers to develop something new with these new tires. For example dragster or nascar series supercar set.

Where can it steer? if there's a 2x4 smooth brick right next to the wheel?

Good point! I guess that is the same situation as with VW and MINI - looks over functionality.

I'm not really sure but at first it looked like it didn't and each time I look at it it seems that it could but not very tightly thats for sure

or maybe not at all in the end....

The thing is basically built like this :

One connector is missing because not available on LDD. However, there is not steering mechanism here.

Note that pin 43093 seems to be back in black color (blue on my pic).

I think that you are right. This is great because I have been trying to get my hands on some of them for ages, but they are too expensive. Anyone that has a semi large quantity wants a ton of money for them.
