Benny23 Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 As a naive person I loaned my precious childhood lego train set to my sister for her boys to play with. I'm gutted to say that it has returned to me in bits Quote

Benny23 Posted July 21, 2014 Author Posted July 21, 2014 Thanks, I'm on it Big thanks, Henrik. I've placed an order, so hopefully I can start to try to put my train set together. Brick link looks like a great site, though I hope I won't need it too much and there are no other pieces missing. My beloved sister gave the random lego bricks to a charity shop without consulting me; so until I start my build (when I've time in the autumn) I won't know for sure. Thanks again. Modelmaker Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Just pulled my 182 out of the attic tonight. I got it when i was 3 or 4 years old (in '75 or '76) it was my first Lego set and it was well played with in it's time put it looks like most of it's parts are still there. I signed up for an account on bricklink and made a wanted list for all the parts needed to restore it and they have all but one part (signal post). I'm just out of my dark years and this is going to be the first set i restore. Just need to figure out how to use bricklink properly I'll post a pic if anyone's interested Quote
