EpsilonEta Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 When I put the map on the screen in my last build I downloaded the map from the web page to make the background black (instead of the stars) After that I started to play around with the images (I have always thought the domination area was a little hard to see). I made the space darker but tried to keep the stars bright and also made the domination area less transparent (and MANTIS slightly greener) Here is a comparison with the original at the top and my version at the bottom. My own opinion is that the domination areas are more visible with a darker background and less transparency. If the game masters would want to change or look closer, here is the new background image and domination area. (the domination area of course have to be changed at it's source, where the weekly domination is derived from) Quote
system Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 This is great! Few weeks ago was thinking that there should be more ways to promote space exploration to kids. Something that is fun, easy, and inspire them to become engineers and scientists. And when thought about lego, found this gem here :) Spent already many hours browsing various builds with my kids. mediumsnowman Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 I'm very sorry for the very late score posting... Things happened... I've just posted the scores in each builds thread, but couldn't enter them in the software. I hope to be able to do it tonight Should we refrain from beginning to transfer credits until the credits are in the system? Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted November 20, 2015 Author Posted November 20, 2015 Well I won't transfer credits until I've entered all the builds, so you ask for a transfer, but I won't do it immediatly Quote
Gunman Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Hey Bob just fyi, I already transfered 53 credits but the build isn't in my player index. Thanks a lot for the effort you put into this great game. Quote

EpsilonEta Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 How come the map still show the fleet positions of last week? Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted November 30, 2015 Author Posted November 30, 2015 Seems like I forgot to generate the map Thanks for letting me know! And don't hesitate to tell me when I mess things up... I've been pretty busy during the last weeks, with work and reviews and preparing my first convention, so I messed up all kind of things... Quote
EpsilonEta Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 You get a lot of things right too! Don't be to hard on yourself. And we all have life too, you are doing great Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted December 2, 2015 Author Posted December 2, 2015 There are the Frogans too. They were in a couple of early MANTIS builds and Dannylonglegs spaceship challenge. It would be fun to create some kind of Andromeda Alien Guide. That's something I wanted to do, and also an atlas of flora and fauna on each planet! Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted December 2, 2015 Author Posted December 2, 2015 Look at the first seconds of this video, some things may be familiar Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted December 7, 2015 Author Posted December 7, 2015 Guys don't forget about the fleet moves! Quote

Isundir Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 (edited) Gattsu 'The Crimson Swordsman' applying for Andromeda's Gates, Kawashita and Special Force Had to take these pics by sunlight and it shows, not like I'm a professional photographer or anything. I don't usually customize LEGO or use non-official stuff but I just had to mess with the claw a bit, I assume it falls within the rules. and my Sigfig: Edited December 8, 2015 by Isundir Quote
EpsilonEta Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Welcome to Andromeda and Kawashita! Realy cool fig too. I see you made the claw shorter and it look a lot better. (But I still couldn't cut a part) Looking forward to see your builds and you will be aded to our private discussion page soon. Quote
Orange Leader Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Welcome, Gattsu! Cool throwback to Berserk, one of my favourite manga! Quote
Isundir Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 (edited) Thanks! I hope to have my first build up by Thursday, I originally planned to do it today but a lot came in between and I barely even had time to post the sigfig Edited December 8, 2015 by Isundir Quote
