Maybe the Bat Pod set will getting another Catwoman minifigure which is based on the film like Heath Ledger's The Joker.

That would require probably require a new piece, and since there's no minifig advertised, there probably won't be.

Oh good another thing we wont see in the UK, thanks Lego keep making sets for ebay! Why should lego make money from there products by selling them to people when they can give them away and let other people sell them. Oh and maybe minifigures for boys and minidolls for girls another top idea that one.

Just keep your fingers crossed... that's all I'm doing. Besides... it looks like we'll be able to BL the parts for it anyway. Rather this than another exclusive figure!

Agreed. Whether we get minidoll sets or not, I really hope we'll be seeing an increase in the number of female characters in the regular minifigure line (and at the very least, a Raven minifigure). Is there really any reason we can't have minidoll sets and more females in the regular sets just to make everyone happy?

Edit: Sorry, misunderstood what you were saying.

No problem :classic: I just read your post, so the misunderstanding never took place

I too hope we'll get more DC women in sets. The problem with mini-dolls is for me a technical one. It's not just because I like Minfigures more but since I often make little dioramas, Brick Comics (and hopefully when I'll get more time, Brickfilms) the mini-dolls limited "possibility/movements" are truly a problem to me :classic:

Yeah. I wonder what kinda of set LEGO would pull out if they prefer minidoll in this case, or they would compromise to use minifigures.

That's a very good question. However they could do what they did with Elves theme: just putting them into "standard" (well, more or less  ) builds.

Personally I truly hope the Minifigure format will be chosen :classic:

It could be possible it will available in Europe too. Perhaps the scan is the "advertising" they made for the North American market :classic:

In any case with 750 available piece I suppose it will have a very high value on the market :classic:

It looks like the wheels will be the priciest bit in bricklinking that Batpod.

Otherwise, it looks pretty solid. I still don't own the Tumbler, but whenever I do pick it up this would look good next to it...

That means, next we need The Bat in scale with the Tumbler...right? right?

It isn't going to be an SDCC set-- this set is exclusively for this VIP sweepstakes only. Its set number will be 5004590 (Brickipedia link). It contains 311 pieces and will be labeled for ages 16+.

What is it with Lego releasing Dark Knight trilogy sets now? Don't get me wrong, they are amazing but still its weird. Either way, I can't wait to start sending e-mails everyday in June.

If you read the rules, you'll know it's one entry per VIP member

Like with nearly every promotion: it's usually one per customer and household :classic:

I'm a bit disappointed it won't be available in Europe but after all there are just 750 of them: I'm not that lucky. Anyway I guess I can live without it :classic:

We need Bart as Kid Flash and Cassie as Wonder Girl to complete the core of the Tim/Kon/Bart/Cass Titans.

Gimme Jaime as Blue Beetle too!

HERE HERE!!!

Although, I suspect if we get Kid Flash, it'll be Wally West (please no New 52 for this one) and Bart Allen will be Impulse.

I dunno, Bart's costume was the one in the game.

Actually, I think it's Wally West. The jagged line joining the red and yellow at his waist is definitely his, although the chest symbol is Bart's. But, the two Kid Flash costumes are both too close to call anyway. Although, the game Kid Flash has red hair like Wally, not brown hair like Bart (though, they could have messed up colors).

Whoever it is, Kid Flash would be great to get (and Bart and Wally both look similar enough that it could be used for both).

I'm pretty sure Bart has been drawn with reddish hair before. Anyway, I agree that it really wouldn't matter whichever one it is as long as they go with the Pre-52 costume (which I would expect as long as LEGO actually has the freedom to choose; the rebooted outfits for both of them are pretty awful).

And yeah, Blue Beetle too, please!

As are the rebooted costumes for most of the characters.

Meh. I give it a month tops before the instructions wind up online.

Quite possibly posted by LEGO itself, at that. Access to the instructions won't be the primary obstacle to recreating this set; sourcing those tires probably will be. Isn't the UCS Tumbler the only other set that has them?

Of course, since the Batpod comes from the Tumbler anyway...

If we do get Suicide Squad AKA Task Force X sets, Killer Croc will probably be a normal Minifigure and not a big fig. But you can easily tell who's gonna die. Ha.

That design of his in LB3 has to be intended for a set at some point. It just looks too right. If they're based on the movie (which I doubt they would be) I'd say he'd be a regular minifigure, though.

You can at least tell who's going to live. Harley, Deadshot, Croc and Captain Boomerang seem pretty safe (especially the first 2), but I wouldn't at all be surprised if Slipknot(?) and El Diablo are used as cannon fodder.

Watch, Suicide Squad will pull a fast one on us all and Slipknot will be the only character to make it to the end .

The costumes look way better than I expected they would; really hope we'll get some Squad sets next year (comic based and movie based are both fine by me).
