I like the Batboat set.

Must be me. I don't see everyone's problem with it. It's a pretty nifty concept that they execute well.

I wasn't a fan at first, but it has grown on me... quite a bit. I'll have to see it in person to tell if I like it better than the 2012 one, but for now its a close call. Anyway, you are not alone.

Oh, and I don't know if anyone else has pointed this out yet, but four new DC keychains have started turning up in LBR stores: Supergirl, the Flash, Green Lantern, and Martian Manhunter.

Eh, keychains are still a thing? I wonder how LEGO did The Flash one without a solid helmet. :look: Wouldn't there be problems with the helmet possibly tearing? If this isn't me begging for a decent Flash helmet that doesn't wear off and lose grip or spontaneously rip... I don't know what is.

How is that different from the Two-Face chase set? I realize this has the missiles up front with the rounded area, but the rest of the shaping doesn't look THAT different to me...another reason for me to pass on the Jokerland set.

I will photograph tonight.

Hey, when were those "DC girls" sets - the ones we presume will have minidolls - supposed to come out, again?

We don't know if there are any or when they'd come out, but if there actually are any, I'd guess next spring or summer.

I'm hoping that we hear something soon about that. I'm mostly hoping that they don't do minidolls and instead just do more sets with female heroes and villains. A Wonder Woman set with Cheetah would be a great place to start. Although, given the way the redesigns look and this sort of "separate but equal" vibe coming off of all this, I'm afraid that we'll just wind up with minidolls in sets that are covered in pink.

I suspect we'll learn more at SDCC. I would love minifgure sets, especially if it meant Wonder Woman finally has a villain, not to mention possibly her own set without Batman or Superman. And if we could get Raven, that would make my day.

If Lego does go with minidolls, I wouldn't mind the sickening amounts of pink. I just hope the set taglines won't be along the lines of, Will Wonder Woman ever find something to wear in her invisible closet? Will Batgirl's bat-nail polish dry in time? Will Supergirl be able to catch Granny Goodness without messing up her hair? THOSE would drive me crazy(er).

Agreed. Up until now, minidoll sets have been totally void of conflict. So what would be the purpose of minidoll DC sets? Hopefully, it'll be regular figs.

Especially since there are sooo many female super heroes and villains we still need in minifigure form.

If its not too much trouble, could you put the front of the old one on the new one (I prefer the old ones front and the rest of the new one)?

Thats in the flickr feed

also, the Joker with the Jokerland is the same one from the Steamroller set.

Not the same as the Bumpercar Joker, which is the same as the one that came with the Batwing and Joker Copter set.

Awesome. Will be removing the chain (as shown on a tutorial video) for Supergirl and Green Lantern and will be giving them their hairpieces as I already have multiples of theirs. Thanks for pointing it out. :classic::thumbup:

In terms of mini-fig scale Batmobile:

7781 > 76035 > 6864 > 76012

After all these years, they still cannot out-design the legendary 7781 Batmobile. But I will get the Jokerland anyway.

Can someone do the comparison of all four?

Liking that Bat mobile! Very Burton-esque, with the low headlights and the tube on the front and in the overall shape, sadly probably the closest we will get to a Burton version. Still, thats a brilliant homage, especially in the way the cockpit and front are designed. Even if the cockpit is squarer than Burton's it is in the same place and has the same sort of top. I wasn't too sure about jokerland but now i've seen more images of the figures and features of the set it seems like a good one to have, so i'll probably pick it up, as i never got the tuxeedo penguin as i never got arkham and i never got Harley as i didn't end up getting the funhouse, it looks like Joker has new hat syndrome, or rather hair as i suppose its a variant of the new suit not with a hat, wish they'd at least given poison ivy a new variant, i'm not that familiar with Best Boy or Starfire but they look cool, and the new Batman with printed legs and the robin figures look excellent.

So really we've had four different system scale designs of the bat-mobile now: the first 2 of which seem inspired by many variations, and the more recent 2 which seem based of the "Beware" batmobile and the "Burton" Batmobile. Then hopefully in 2016 we'll get the "Snyder" bat-mobile. Shame there is no system scale tumbler but oh well.

Robins arms are what i wanted from this!

It's a GREAT figure.

Picked up the set yesterday, breaking my full-price rule. Again.

Loads of play features for the kids. A lot of thought seems to have gone into the set. The rides are fun, and the look of it is a really pleasing Lego take on the cartoon classic "Terrifying Funfair".

The figures are all good too. Maybe they could have gone for a few hapless civilians instead of some of the heroes, but if you want a stack of the world's finest, they're here. The printing on Starfire and Harley is particularly impressive, and Boots Bats is way better than the alternate version. I think we'll be selling all of them though - apart from Robin, who'll be modded to make him look even more like The Animated Adventures incarnation. We have some of the rest already, prefer non-52 Bats and Harley, and aren't clued-up enough to appreciate Beast Boy and Starfire.

The Batmobile is the best I've seen since the truly iconic 7781. The missiles at the front are fun and can be fired really accurately, and the vent at the front and outlet at the back gives it the same jet-powered look as 7781 and the Burton-mobile. Really neat.
