Numbuh1Nerd Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Honestly, what I envision them doing for Suicide Squad is an Argus Laboratory set (think Hulks lab smash and Doc Ocks Lab merged) where Amanda Waller, Deadshot, and Captian Boomerang are holding Vixen hostage to steal her powers and the Flash and Batman arrive to save her. That sounds about right. They probably wouldn't include Waller in favor of someone like Harley Quinn or Killer Frost though. Nick Fury had to have a flying car and team up with Spider-Man before he got a minifigure. http://media.comicbo...tman-109434.jpg That batmobile looks like a physical set, could we see it being released in stores in the near future? All those Batsymbols make it seem like an MOC. Where did you find this picture? Quote

I was thinking Waller just because she is rumored/confirmed to be in the movie, but Killer Frost would definitely be cool and Harley I could care less for since we already have her. It was attached to the tweet Chris Miller sent out after The Lego Batman Movie was announced. So it's legit to some capacity. The Batmobile in the movie had all the bat symbols. I'd say that given the casting rumors and the line-up from Assault on Arkham, we're gonna see Killer Frost on the team. Whether we get her or a variant Harley is up in the air. On one hand, Killer Frost is a new, fun-looking bad guy. On the other hand, Harley will make the set easier to sell because she's a Batman villain. Actually, that Batmobile in the picture is photoshopped out of this image. They're at the exact same angle and everything. EDIT: Oh wow, wait, that's not even photoshopped out! It's just a black and white filter over that picture with Batman in front of it! Come on, Internet, I know you can do better than that for Lego Sad Batman! Ah, yeah after looking at it closely all that been done is bats has been posed then shopped into that image in black and white.(you can see the cloud under the batmobile.) I know there is a miniscule chance, but this nerd has dreams. Back on the Suicide Squad, Deadshot would be awesome alongside Killer Frost and New 52 Harley Quinn vs Batman(obviously as it is a Lego product) and a leaguer we have yet to see. I'm still hoping to get a Widcat minifigure somewhere down the line, even though it is unlikely. Quote
TheBuoyWonder Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 If we got sets based on the lego batman movie it would be: A theme based on a movie based on a theme based on a comic book character. Quote

In the mean time you could purist him pretty well with Catwoman's cowl, a black torso, and a fitting head. I'm using one of those mustached heads from the Indiana Jones sets right now. Check out this thread if you want some more ideas. Quote
Cy_Bored1337 Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 New UCS DC set. http://laughingsquid...et-out-of-lego/ Quote
Ashnflash Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 ^ ^ ^ If you look closely at the left side of the box you can see the LEGO Movie logo. Which means it the Sea Cow Quote
orangecommander715 Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 technically we could still get a suicide squad set they have another name more kid friendly Task Force X so i wouldn't be surprised if we do get a set atleast. Quote

My guess would be that the star Suicide Squad members (probably Deadshot and Captian Boomerang) will just appear as antagonists in (a) Justice League set(s) released either this summer, next January, or around the release of Batman beats Superman sets. This way, the characters would still be in sets around the release of the movie without there actually being sets for the movie. Edited October 17, 2014 by psqidexslizer248 Quote
Commissioner Gordon Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 if we get deadshot and captain boomerang the i'm ok, i don't need a suicide squad set specifically. Quote
8BrickMario Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 I'm hoping for something with the New 52 Harley or Catwoman designs as minifigs. And a set with Music Meister would be really fun! I'd also like to see Deathstroke somewhere along the line. Cheetah and Firefly need to happen as well. Quote
BrickyNolan35 Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Is the superman we are getting next year the same as the 2011 one? Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Is the superman we are getting next year the same as the 2011 one? Yes in the darkseid set, but we're getting the new 52 variation in the brainiac attack set. Quote
Steph 104th Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Speaking of the Braniac Attack set, just2good, is your source yet to find pictures of it. Quote
SMC Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Yes in the darkseid set, but we're getting the new 52 variation in the brainiac attack set. We don't know that for sure do we? We have seen spiderman look different in sets but then turn out to be the same. Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Does anyone really think that Lego would release a set entitled " suicide squad "........really, what parent would buy a child a toy with suicide written on the box ? Quote
Steph 104th Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 @lightlingtiger- A morgue attendant. Anyway Lego would never give us the entire squad in one set anyway. They would be facing off some heroe(s) in pairs. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Just in case you guys don't know the prices for the 2015 dc sets, they are: Green lantern: $19.99 Gorilla grodd goes bananas: $39.99 Black Manta Strike: $39.99 Darkseid invasion: $59.99 Braniac Attack: $24.99 Not bad prices, they are really good actually.
