I'm more surprised at how we didn't get a Killer Croc Bigfig yet. Robin could have easily been swapped out for him.

...You do realize bigfigs are expensive and tend to drive set prices up by around $5, right?

Giganta is in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. How cool would it be to have a giant Giganta minifig? My dream DC set would be a temple on Paradise Island with Wonder Woman, a few Amazons (Phillipus and Artemis come to mind, for WW readers), Cheetah, Giganta, and maybe a third enemy like Circe or Doctor Psycho.

I'd have preferred the Giant Sentinel mini figure from the Marvel Superheroes game. I was at very least hoping for one of the torches/alarm clocks, but no such luck.

The main minifigure that's been revealed for the game that I can't imagine ever being made that I'd love to have is Detective Chimp. That would be an awesome minifigure.

Yeah, but the Grodd set managed to have five figs and a bigfig for the sake price as Manta. The builds seem bigger in the Grodd set too, so adding a Croc bigfig wouldn't have been a problem. I'd gladly pay an extra $5 or $10 for him.

Honestly, the builds look bigger in the Manta Set IMO.

I think that all the large bricks in the Bat-Mech make it look bigger than either of the subs, but the Invisible Jet is about the same size as both of them. Now that I look at it, the Piece Count in the Manta set is higher than the Grodd set. A Croc Bigfig would've probably made it $50 I'm guessing.

That sounds about right, maybe $45 if we were lucky. Maybe next wave we'll see him.

Next wave is Batman v. Superman: DoJ sets. Maybe in the 2017 wave... :excited:

There could still possibly be a wave in the Summer, seeing as Marvel was able to have two waves last year. Not sure how likely it is, but it's still a possibility. Plus, 2017 will probably hold off for some Justice League Movie sets, too.

They just revealed Red Hood for Lego Batman 3 and he looks like a more polished version of the design they used in the Wayne Manor project on Ideas as opposed to the New 52 version. I'm thinking this is a sign.

Not sure if it's a sign, seeing as it looks almost identical to the Christo figure, but it does look like we could get a Wayne Manor set for next year. There's a few Batman players they haven't made yet such as Red Hood and Ra's.

I hope that it's a sign. Why go for the Under the Red Hood version (the same version in the Wayne Manor project) when around 85% of all the other minifigures in the game are in their New 52 designs?

Well in the Lego Batman 3 game we see Killer croc so if we are going to get him there is a pretty high chance that that is what he is going to look like if they make a physical bigfig of him.

That bigwig is amazing.

Edit: bigfig

I wonder if Lego will make an official set of the 1960's batman with a new cowl or just new printing on the cowl. Does anyone think that it might make for a good set.

I felt like they had the perfect opportunity to put them in with the SDCC Batmobile or as a separate SDCC Exclusive. Dunno if they'd put him in a D2C, especially if it could be this Wayne Manor one they're talking about.

On the topic of Red Hood, the version from LB3 is a tweaked version of the one from LB2 (LB3 has shoes, there are silver buckles instead of studs on the sides of the belt, the collar seems wider, and there is no vertical line running down the center). The only differences I can find on the one from Wayne Manor from the one in LB2 are buckles instead of studs, and the undershirt is darker. I think the creators of the project probably borrowed heavily from the LB2 design, so the updated LB3 one wouldn't look too different.

As always I guess that it is possible that the project is being developed and this is a tweaked design from it, but I don't think it is too likely. :sceptic:

Edit: On another note, it looks like this is the Captain Cold that we will be getting.

I could see them doing a mini-summer line or another D2C set from DC to fill in the rest of 2015. Wayne Manor would be perfect but I think that the Lego Ideas proposal is just way too big. It will cost a fortune unless they heavily mod it. A Hogwarts style Manor is more likely to be released.

If they just did the manor and not the cave underneath, it would be feasible, expensive, but feasible.

I don't understand the desire for a Wayne Manor; and I'm a huge Batman fan. Aside from potentially giving us good new figures, what's the point of the set? Almost nothing interesting actually happens in the Manor itself; everything cool about it is that the fact that Batcave happens to be under it!

There's no real play value to the thing either; aside from watching Alfred dust and maybe having Bruce Wayne sleep in the day. The former of which is most likely a good feature actually, since the thing would just end up sitting on people's shelves. There's just no reason to make a Wayne Manor set unless you make a Batcave to go under it--and that just adds a whole slew of problems at we see in the Cuusoo set; mainly pieces, price, and height (Seriously "Ground floor" is like 25 bricks high). Lego would be far better off building something else for their larger superhero sets.

I would be happy with a Wayne Manor with a similar build/ price point like the 2012 60860: The Batcave-set.

I'd rather have a GCDP-set like the City Police Station set. Let Marvel have their D2C, like the announced Heli-Carrier.
