Speaking of which, I'll also want to pick up another Lex Mech set (which is surprisingly still for sale, although that may be ending). This may be the last time we see a classic fully printed Wonder Woman for a seriously long time; so I better get a safety extra! I don't want to pay aftermarket prices for her either--some of those early superhero figures (such as Deadpool) get really pricey once their sets go off the market.

Do it. I waited just too long to get Deadpool's Helicopter, and I have regretted it ever since. It was literally less than two weeks from me seeing it on the shelf, and going to buy it and it wasn't there any more.

...Granted I don't have one Deadpool... So I suppose I can't say with certainty that you should buy a second set just for a backup 'fig :P But hey, Power Armor Lex was a really good set.

I really dislike the back printing on Green Arrow...I think the quiver accessory looks way better than the printing the quiver. I guess it makes sense given the Wildestyle hood piece but still... it just seems lame to me..

Lame.. This wave seemed so promising way back when we got to know about it, but it turned about dissapointing to me.

Classic Superman is a little disappointing (and really strange, since they did decide to mix Batman and Wonder Woman up), but classic Martian Manhunter looks fantastic with the collar and a better face than the promo. I'm really glad to see that they went with classic Supergirl too; I think that the New 52 costume is awful. The set has grown on me a lot since we first saw it. I think that it looks quite good now. With this and the Darkseid set, I think we have two very solid builds this wave. I really can't say that I am disappointed. I do hope that Nu Superman and Cheetah show up somewhere soon, but I can wait.

I would have preferred green legs with printed boots on MM, but 76040 is definitely a day one buy, along with 76025 and 76028.

By the way, wasn't Brainiac Attack supposedly 76029?

Nice find. Set looks amazing, a bit surprised with the dome color, though.

When it was first reported, it was accidentally reported as 76029, but later that report was corrected. (I'm trying to see how many times I can use the word report in one sentence )

I'm surprised by the lack of a New 52 Superman; but frankly I'm not upset about it--Classic always trumps 52, in style...and everything else. It is surprising to see Martian Manhunter with a collar piece however, which is a neat addition; but like so many other characters he's screaming for leg printing. I'm not sure yet if I like him more or less than the 52 one we got--I think I prefer the formers torso/cape and the latters face. So I may be mixing him up.

Brainiac looks rather nice, but could use some leg printing--and maybe a more neutral face--but regardless I'm happy to get him. Supergirl is spectacular however! Although I prefer her more street clothes look (white "supergirl" shirt version; ala Animated series), this version looks great--I just hope the printing on her legs is top notch like classic Wonder Woman; since it would be a tragedy if she suffered from the "red tint" that often happens with pale colors on red Minifigure parts. And of course Braniac's ship is amazing. This is an easy buy set for sure.

Also list me down too for wanting Cheetah! She seems sorely missed in this wave!

Really nice looking set! Disappointed by the lack of New 52 Superman, but otherwise it looks good to me. Maybe not a Day 1 buy for me (already got GL and the Javelin for that), but definitely one I'm going to try to pick up as soon as possible!

I really wish we got the New 52 Superman, it looks so cool and this guy is bound to stand out next to New 52 Wonder Woman and Batman. Not sure how I feel about them using the classic Supergirl, though, as I'm still surprised we're getting her before Superboy. Not sure whether I prefer the classic J'onn to the promo New 52 version, either, but I am glad his cape has the collar on it this time. I'll probably wind up mixing and matching between the two. Does that ship look stable to you? I'm not sure that it'd be able to stand on those tentacles.

Interesting choice that it shows the Superman logo here and not the Justice League logo; this is a European thing it seems like, as looking at all the other final pictures on the site show either a Batman or Superman logo (even on the Green Lantern set).

Frankly I knew we weren't getting a New 52 Superman. If you look at those promo posters that look like inspirational posters I don't think New 52 Supes had ever shown up in those but was in his classic suit. I'm slightly disappointed because I really like the New 52 design.

I like it. MM is much improved from the S@H bonus, especially the cape. Supergirl and Brainiac look good. although that single face on Brainiac is going to bug me. Superman is meh, but I'm not too upset about the design they chose. The ship looks fantastic, just like the game showed us.

And don't be upset about Superman not getting the New 52 design. We got an abundance of new characters, some with the bizarrely prized leg printing. This theme isn't stopping any time soon, so there's a lot in its future. I'd say this wave is a really freakin' huge step for the theme in general, so not getting the one character they decided to save on printing shouldn't matter too much. (Also, New 52 Superman would just be a red belt on the torso and blue pants. It's not that big of a difference). And he does get the MoS laser eyes, so that's a bonus.

Assuming this is accurate, I think this means we'll be getting another set or promo figure that includes New 52 Supes. The figure is appearing in too many promotions (including that Action Comics variant cover) to not have it offered in some way. Fingers crossed for that UCS Watchtower set we've been dreaming about. ;)

That Brainiac set looks sweet! We got a fantastic Suoergirl, an awesome classic MM and a cool Brainiac. Superman is the only negative part but I'm hoping we get pics of a 6th set that has him like how we got pics of the Funhouse two years back around late November.

Thanks for the images! The set looks great imo. The tenticles under the ship look awesome. Supergirl and Martian Manhunter look amazing as well as straight out of LB3

Oddly enough, Guy Gardner is featured as the Green Lantern for the League on this one.

Oh hey! And the Bizarro design here doesn't include the big Number 1 sign on his chest! Could this be a sign that a new Bizarro is coming? I could see an exclusive set with New 52 Superman and Bizarro happening.
