psqidexslizer248 Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 (edited) Already have the perfect plane for Batzarro: http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140226065853/lego/images/a/ad/Batplane.png Also, anyone else thinking we could get a Batrocket set featuring Bizarro, Batman, Superman, and Batzarro? strangely Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 (edited) Well I'm not overly surprised about Superman, especially after seeing the Javelin. But I'm pleasantly surprised about Supergirl. Batzarro is interesting, but it's odd that the new cowl isn't being used. Come to think of it none of the New 52 designs are being used on that cover. It's odd how Lego is picking and choosing when to use new 52 designs. It almost seems random... I'm hoping the animation quality is on par with the last movie rather than the beleaguered episode that just came out. Though based on how odd that batarang on the cover looks I'm going to guess this will look like the beleaguered animation... Edited November 9, 2014 by strangely Quote
Ashnflash Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Why do you guys think we'll be getting sets based off this? There is no news on us getting Bat-mite or anything from the TV special? Quote
SMC Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 We didnt get a £12 set so I vote for 52 Superman and Bizarro. Quote

Ellteltoone Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 I agree with SMC also. Perhaps we could get supes, bizarro and a fleshie scientist in some sort of lab environment with the duplication ray in accordance with the origins of the first bizarro. Lego have made a similar set on this price point for TLM with the melting room. Quote
Ellteltoone Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 I think there is a perfect opportunity for this and will allow for some cheap nods to the original material. It could contain and apple and a gem that were the tests for the ray before it accidentally hit supes. Quote
RobLego Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Supes, Bizarro, and Shazam would be my hope. Quote
Ellteltoone Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Edit: I mean cheap as in not expensive to produce. Quote
slugdude Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Yeah guys, let's not talk about the Braniac set and the wonderful wave full of diverse characters we're getting. What we should do is speculate and complain about Batzarro and the made up fairytale sets and exclusive figures that will never happen. Seriously, we have an excellent wave of great sets that we should be grateful for and all you can do is try to convince yourselves that we're getting one more set or one more figure. Bizarro is an exclusive and it will likely stay that way. Quote
K-Nut Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 I think Batzarro is an odd choice for a figure, but I'm fine with it. There was no chance of getting a Bizarro figure anyways. The only reason we're getting a GL figure is because they were able to make a different version of him (Comic vs Film). Same with GA, however subtle the change is. Bizarro was an SDCC exclusive, and there's really not much room for him to change since he already matches with the other comic style DC figs. Quote
Ellteltoone Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Batzarro is seen in the box set in a purple suit however he is normally depicted wearing white. There are numerous versions of bizarro also. I think that there are ways of changing the figure so it doesn't replicate the sdcc version Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 They wouldn't be making this if they weren't promoting something. I mean, we all saw Beleaguered, tell me that wasn't just a big commercial for the last batch of DC sets. This movie specifically features Bizarro and Guy Gardner, so it would make sense that at least Bizarro is going to be in a set, if not Guy Gardner as well. Quote

Amazing Bricks Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 The one thing i just noticed in the braniac attack set is that both superman and supergirl have heat vision eyes printed on them. I know superman came with heat vision in the man of steel sets, but this is new for the classic superman to have heat vision eyes. I think it's awesome that supergirl has it to. I do hope that the other sided head on superman is new though. Quote

DJ Bricks Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I don't see the heat vision eyes on Supergirl, just an angry face. And Superman could just have the MOS head. Nope, this new one featutes a serious exprssion with the red eyes. Quote
TheLegoExperience Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I love how people are up in arms about LEGO making such obscure character. But when you get down to it, it is just another Batman variant. A variant from an evil, upside-down universe. Quote
8BrickMario Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 (edited) They both have the heat vision eyes, which is great. I am still quite pleased about Manhunter. He's so much better than the creepy-faced version we got before. And his collar looks bigger than the Alien Villainess and Wizard's. Edited November 10, 2014 by 8BrickMario Quote
TheBatstan Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Isn't Superman's face just the MOS head? Quote
strangely Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I still can't tell if Supergirl's eyes are heat vision or not. I'll just have to wait for a higher quality image. Quote
psqidexslizer248 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Isn't Superman's face just the MOS head? Probably. Quote
K-Nut Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Looks to me like both Superman and Supergirl have heat vision eyes. Works for me, seeing I never liked Supes weird grin from the Lex Set. I switched out that head for the MoS head as soon as I got it. Quote
TheBatstan Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Shouldn't Superman almost always smile? I mean he's not Batman, though I do agree that grin he has looks more evil/sinister than friendly. Quote
