SoupOrFishOil Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 (edited) Seeing the pumpkin mask (which has to be Scooby-Doo), the Flame Yellowish-Orange hair could be another part for the Scooby theme for an unknown character. It doesn't seem DC to me, though, and it doesn't match anything from the new game. Trickster has that exact hairpiece. :P I agree that it probably isn't for DC, since there aren't many other characters it could work for, but if Trickster does play second-fiddle in a Joker set for whatever reason, that would justify his inclusion in the game. He's probably the most useless named character in it. :P Edit: I just read that his chickens explode. Never mind about that last bit then. :P Edited December 3, 2014 by Super Fish Oil Quote

Ashnflash Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 YES!!! I hope that is for Trickster!!! Quote
K-Nut Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 That seems to make the most sense except it doesn't work well for anyone from Mystery Inc. IMO (I've heard people mention Fred, but I really hate that hair for him, so I really hope that's not the case) and most of the other characters will probably be monsters. Besides Barry, it would work for Trickster who might not be popular enough for a set (I can see Lego having him and Joker team up to take down Batman and Flash). It could work for Fred, though I'd prefer a different style for him. Trickster completely slipped my mind! I'd hope TLG would give us other rogues first (Mirror Master and Heat Wave mostly), but I wouldn't be opposed to a Trickster figure. It's probably for another theme, but I can dream. Quote

I'd also love to see more rogues (I'd prefer Boomerang to those two, but I'll take what I can get). At this point, I'd say that hair has to be either for Trickster or Fred Jones (or both). 8BrickMario Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Actually, the chickens don't explode, and Trickster's hair is yellow, not flame yellowish orange. Quote

That picture does make it hard to tell what color that hairpiece is... are you sure it's flame yellowish orange? Either way, they could change the hair between the game and a set. What do you mean the chickens don't explode?! Edited December 3, 2014 by psqidexslizer248 Quote
Ezekiel2517 Posted December 3, 2014 Author Posted December 3, 2014 (edited) But he has black hair. Oh I meant for Marvel. I wrote Ms. marvel but then thought that Captain was more recognizable. Oops. I know it's the DC thread but we're talking about the hair. Also the hair could also be for Hawkeye from the show, kinda like the classic Cap, Thor, and Hulk. 8BrickMario Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 You can't even target silver pieces as Trickster. The rubber chickens just bounce and squeak and fade away. But that hair could be regular yellow, though I'm skeptical that a relatively obscure villain (that most kids wouldn't have exposure to) would be in a set. We don't need more Flash rogues yet. Quote

It could work for her, but so could a lot of other hairstyles that wouldn't require a recolor. Could be, but why would they release cartoon Avenger sets when they have a movie to base sets on? Quote
Ezekiel2517 Posted December 3, 2014 Author Posted December 3, 2014 The Cap, Hulk and Thor (?) Are based on the show, also Falco. Hawkeye and Black Widow are pretty good choices in my opinion. http://watchplayread.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/2013/08/Marvels_Avengers-Assemble_Molecule-Kid.jpg Quote

Man, I was getting hyped about those chickens, but now, meh. I could them throwing him in a set playing second fiddle to some bigger bad guy, or even in a set with other Rogues taking on the Flash. And we always need more Rogues IMO. The Cap, Hulk and Thor (?) Are based on the show, also Falco. mattdev25 Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 (edited) I hate to burst everyone's bubble here, but it's EXTREMELY unlikely that we get a Trickster minifigure. He's one of the most obscure DC villains, and, as it stands right now, we're only getting mainstream, popular villains, such as Grodd, Darkseid, Sinestro, Manta, C. Cold, etc. I could be wrong, but I'm almost positive that we won't be getting any form of a LEGO Trickster figure in the near future at least, as awesome as it would be. My money is on Fred. Edit: I just looked at the image for the hairpiece again, and it is distinguishably the flame orange-yellow coloration. Trickster's hairpiece's color matches his uniform, which is yellow, so....yeah. I rest my case. Edited December 3, 2014 by mattdev25 Quote

I rest my case. I think it's mostly my bubble. Anyway, Lego has been known to change their figures between game and official designs. Plus, that hairpiece really wouldn't work anywhere else. It's too close to the skin color of ordinary unlicensed figures, too unrealistic for non- cartoony licensed figures, and it doesn't work for very many cartoony licensed figures who are less obscure than Trickster. Besides, not even a year ago, Grodd and Darkseid seemed unlikely yet here they are. Just because Lego hasn't done characters as obscure as Trickster before, doesn't mean they won't and aren't. Plus, for all we know he could be a promotional figure like Martian Manhunter and Jor-El. Not saying Trickster is guaranteed, just that he is an option and likely candidate. Quote
rome00150 Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Now that we know the Suicide Squad movie cast, does anyone think that we will ever get sets from the movie or mini figs of the members in other sets sometime. Quote

Now that we know the Suicide Squad movie cast, does anyone think that we will ever get sets from the movie or mini figs of the members in other sets sometime. Sets - possibly Minifigures - if not directly based on the movie I'd assume we'd get the major ones in their comic uniforms. Is the guy in the back someone important The hair could work for him. SoupOrFishOil Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 I might have to check again to be sure, but I think that Trickster's hair actually is flame yellowish orange in the game, for what it is worth. :P I'm really skeptical that it is for him, but there is no way that it is for Fred. I'm not sure how people are seeing that. Friends would make some sense, though the shade might be brighter than what they usually go for. Quote

JaseTJ Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Are we suddenly confirmed to be getting Scooby Doo or something? Sheesh :P Another option for the hair would be Pyro, no...? He'd be one of the more likely mutant villains, and they really need to introduce a non-Magneto (or sentinel) bad guy in the next X-Men set. Quote
