Captain America fan 1 Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Good news to people wanting zuhh-ar-rah Batman. The hobbit minifigure is a preview minifigure, so hopefully the batman is. Quote
8BrickMario Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 That doesn't mean he will be. So it's wishful thinking, not good news. Quote
Ikkad555 Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 SDCC Bard is a variant based on an appearance that is sure to be prominent in the movie, media he is to appear in. Zur Bats, however, has no immediate media appearances, and as such is not as important a minifig. The Collector appears in the movie, but to what extent we don't know, and definitely not as crucial to have as the figs we got in the Marvel sets. I find it rather odd if any of the other exclusive figs besides Bard gets an eventual mass release, especially considering that he is the only one that media did not label an exclusive. Quote
Moon_Knight Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 (edited) Something about the Adam West cowl looks strange to me. Almost like it's a re-color of Flash's mask. My internet is so slow, though, I'm not able to watch the video right now to see it better. What is the link to this Adam West Batman minifig photo?Edit: Found it! Man, I hope we get that 66' batmobile with the Lego Batman 3 66' Batman and Robin minifigs. I don't think they would make a new cowl mold for one set though. Edited July 25, 2014 by Moon_Knight Quote
8BrickMario Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 It's a new cowl design, but as a one-off, I doubt we'll see a 60's Batman set with the precise game designs, awesome though that may be. Quote
coolguy2323 Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Nice GL set, but what the heck is Batman doing there? Lego is really overdoing it IMO Quote
DJ Bricks Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Bats is there to make sure kiddies will buy the set. he just insurance. Quote
DJ Bricks Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 My thoughts on Sinestro, he has his New 52 outfit! Maybe all villians will start this tread to, just not Joker. He is perfect, except for the hair, he shiuld have had either of the previos suggestions. Quote
Legoman123 Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 I think Sinestro looks excellent exept for the hairpiece that is used. I will probably replace it with Halkeye's hair piece but in black. Quote
Zilcho Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 It's awesome to see a new batman face, even if it is a bit cartoony. Quote
Legoman123 Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 there is a new joker playing card in the new cmf Wow, that looks awesome! We will probably get Joker in the winter wave with his card. Quote

DJ Bricks Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Keep in mind she might just be an extened cameo, and nit do anything or look be WW, just Diana. Quote
Goon Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Nope...Definately Wonder Woman.... http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=54375 Quote
Cammo Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 So for those who wanted alternative expressions for Batman: you're in luck. A smile and angry face: Quote
SpiderSpaceman Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Lego movie batman face is sublime. Nice GL set, but what the heck is Batman doing there? Lego is really overdoing it IMO Even as all the DC sets frustratingly (for some) turn out to be batman sets, what the LEGO Batman 3 game is allowing to happen is: the release of anything DC disguised as a Batman set, because the game puts a cosmically broadened Batman story into the minds of the target audience. (This isn't a statement about the order of development, just the order of release. Lego knows they're priming bat-minded kids for wider DC future set releases) I think Sinestro looks excellent exept for the hairpiece that is used. I will probably replace it with Halkeye's hair piece but in black. Same thing I was thinking, such an obvious choice for Sinestro I worried they were retiring the mold. But I've got 3 Zods from the 3 Man of Steel sets, leaving me with spare hair if I keep one armored and the other two showing each face of the two sided head. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 More Batman is always fine by me. He is the only character I really care about. But I do like variety. So far we have received better variety with Batman then we did with Spider-Man. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 here's some pictures of zur en arrh batman: And some pictures of The green lantern vs. sinestro set. It will have 174 pieces: Quote
Legoman123 Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 I think I may buy that Batman variant. I just like it too much. Quote
clra2 Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Gosh Sinestro looks kind of goofy with this hairpiece. I hope he has a second face that expresses less rage. Quote
