Darth Punk Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Evergreen encompasses more than than licensed themes. In fact until superheroes, Star Wars was the only licensed evergreen theme. City, castle and pirates I believe are all considered evergreen and there might be a few others I'm not remembering. They are for all intense and purposes permanent themes. Some cycle while others are out on a continual basis. Mainly it means we will be seeing a greater number of superhero sets and a broader array of characters. Quote

K-Nut Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Does anyone know where the release date of the 26th came from? I went and talked to the manager of the local LEGO store today (the one in Milwaukee) and he said that he was getting the sets on the 26th but wasn't able to put them out until the 29th of December. He even showed me the chart of all his shipments for the next few weeks (Superheroes is all I saw). It could just be what he's doing and it's only a matter of a few days, but I was still wondering if anyone has heard anything like it. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 (edited) Somethings telling me we're not getting Solomon Grundy, firefly, or cheetah in these sets. We're for sure getting killer croc in that underground sewer set with robin, Batman and maybe one more hero. We will probably get the same scuba suit Batman from this year but with the new cowl in dark blue. Robin might not get the scuba suit, what if he has the doctor fate helmet? For the joker land set, i really don't know what to expect. We know joker and Harley have to be in it with maybe killer moth or mad hatter? Batman will be in it with probably nightwing in blue. I'm excited for beast boy and star fire with deathstroke. Edited December 23, 2014 by amazingbricks Quote

No offense, but we're not sure if we're getting Killer Croc in an underground sewer set or even if it is an underground sewer set (a chase on the water doesn't really scream sewer IMO and Lego has a thing for giving us vehicles over playsets). Also, we don' know that Harley will be in the Jokerland set. And, I really don't see why Lego would make a new mold for a Dr. Fate helmet and not give us Dr. Fate. Quote

I think killer croc is pretty much confirmed, i mean who else could be the villain in the water set. If i remember correctly the first level in Batman 3 was a killer croc level. That was in the sewer with Robin and Batman fighting him. I hope it's a sewer set instead of an underwater set. I'm just saying that it would be cool to get Robin with the doctor fate helmet because we may not get doctor fate soon but this could tease him. Quote
psqidexslizer248 Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 (edited) My top ten wants for this wave: 10: Deathstroke to have a mask with a printed on head underneath, 9: Killer Croc (big fig with a movable jaw like in LB3), 8: At least four new sets, 7: For Starfire and Beast Boy to be Teen Titans (2003) inspired, 6: For most of the sets to be in the under $50 range, 5: For the Teen Titans to head their own set, 4: At least one new villain in the Jokerland set, 3: A new villain for someone besides Batman, 2: Hyenas in the Jokerland set, and 1: Raven (version Teen Titans 2003). I think killer croc is pretty much confirmed, i mean who else could be the villain in the water set. If i remember correctly the first level in Batman 3 was a killer croc level. Penguin could work but Killer Croc makes the most sense and I am really confident he will the villain for the set. Yes, yes it was. I'm just expecting it to be a vehicle set because Lego tends to lean towards those. It is highly unlikely for us to see a new mold for a figure and not see him appear. Zergos Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Bout time we get deathstroke!! Been wanting him forever, and we finally will get him. Beast Boy and Starfire as well? Oh man, this just is awesome. Quote
YoshiBlockr Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 hey guys I'm back after a long time and all this news is killing me, So most people are going to have a empty wallet by the end of 2015 , and I think everyone agrees with me on that one Quote
8BrickMario Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 (edited) Starfire...I don't care for her Titans look. But it's modest and kid-friendly, so whatever. Beast Boy could be great if they include animals for him to transform into, and Deathstroke sounds great! Edited December 23, 2014 by 8BrickMario Quote

YoshiBlockr Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 I also wanted to add if anyone has anyone news on when do we get the dc sets for 2015. I have 5 walmarts, 2 targets, and 2 toysrus within a 20 minute radius and none of them have it. 2 walmarts say the 26th of December . Also what it the offcial price for the Darkseid invasion set. Brickshow said $60 and then my walmart, toysrus, and lego store all say $70. So what is the offical price. Lastly I think 2015 is the best dc wave ever, because of all the great builds, figs, and prices. Hopefully we get a new 52 superman. I have heard from a lego store employee that we are getting summer sets and we will get amazing builds and figs with them. He was very reluctant on the info he gave me, but I was not giving up and I asked hi. Are we getting a beast boy, starfire, and deathstrokke. He replied with a "KINDA". He also said Sunday me thing about a new robin with a lot of red. I'm not sure what that means, it could be red robin, or red hood, or even Carrie kelly. So yeah this is what is squealed out of a lego store employee. Not to forget, but I live in NJ and we have no sign of new sets, very sad. Quote

psqidexslizer248 Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 I hope by "kinda" he doesn't mean exclusive. I'm thinking by "kinda" he meant "Yes, but I really can't say" or "Yes, but there's more than that." or even "Yes, but he's called Slade not Deathstroke". I guess I'm being just a little optimistic though. That's interesting if we get Red robin. That's probably what he was hinting you with, now i can't wait see these new set pictures. That's seems like the most likely scenario. Quote

Deathstroke has the word "Death" in it so yeah. The more the merrier, too. Quote
