DC Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussions

Yeah, those were heavily based on the series (though Croc was green). But I have to admit, the old Joker barely looks like the one from B:TAS.

Really? The 2006 Joker is practically 1:1 to the Batman Animated Series design. The only thing that may be off is the hair, but Lego was just using a re-color of an in-production piece. The 2006 Joker, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy were all 1:1 to their animated counterparts; which was awesome. I only wish Lego continued the line and adapted Justice League animated, so we wouldn't just be getting the League now!

For those hoping for more than 3 sets this summer, that's the same number reported so far for Marvel, too. Not that I'd mind more, but don't count on it.

Plus that way maybe more people can afford to get half the sets :P

Do you guys think we will ever get a set based on a superhero TV show? Specifically Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Titans. No. Those shows are too adult for the superhero line, at least Arrow is, and we can assume Supergirl will be too. However I think the larger problem is the fact that even though those shows are popular, they have nowhere near the amount of viewers to warrant sets based off them as movies or more general comic sets do; and with the lack of viewers means a lack of target market viewers, ergo children. Heck we don't even get sets based on all of the super successful Marvel movies.

We could always get semi-tie in sets--we did get a Green Arrow figure this wave, as well as a largely Flash based set.

I'm picking up 4 out of the 5 sets tomorrow. I'm skipping Manta because I feel it's the most like a Batman set and I have no interest in a new Robin, so I'll buy the Manta fig online. I'll tell you guys what I think of the sets tomorrow, probably in the late afternoon (no images, since I don't have a Flickr)

Am I the only one who's sad that Marvel is stealing the show again this year? I honestly prefer Marvel to DC, but it's a little ridiculous. We finally get a Justice League wave, then Marvel gets Avengers, more Spidey and an Antman set, while DC just gets more Batman and maybe a Teen Titans (which is missing half the members). I'm happy with the DC selection, it's just that Marvel has gotten two unique and interesting waves a year for the past two years and DC is still giving us all Batman waves. I think it's time for DC to seriously step their game up.

You mean it's time for Lego DC Super Heroes to step their game up. Maybe that's what you meant, but I don't think it is at all DC's fault. Lego is just not taking full advantage of the sets they can make. It seems like much of the sets are "remakes" of the original Lego Batman sets.

Just asking but for anyone who lives in New Jersey, have you found any 2015 sets in New Jersey. I have 10 lego retailing stores within 20 minutes, and I am hoping to hit them all tomorrow. So has anyone found any sets in NJ yet!

Um...well, I mean, they're all over the country officially, so I don't think it'll be an issue...but yes, I live in the NJ, and I've seen plenty of 2015 sets of all themes except Speed Champions and Bionicles.

Well I think they are doing fine. Why complain when we have so much more variety then usual?

The difference: Marvel's properties have movie support, which traditionally drive a substantial amount of sales. As DC's movie schedule ramps up, it will likely even out.

If I'd buy the entire sets that contain those cool figs, I'd be spending a lot of money on weird and/or useless vehicles and such again, only for those figs, so..

Sadly no news about teen titans beast boy or star fire set.

Okay, let me get a beam on this......two waves of DC in 2015......fine, so 76034 & 76035 might be based around the footage from the previous video game.....maybe.

Teen Titan's eh ? Yes, Please.....I'm sort of getting into Teen Titan's Go.....just for laughs.....of course !

Plus that is one awesome poly bag.....must buy....might be an idea to build more bumper cars for other baddies eh ?

Happy Birthday dude!! I didn't get the sets yet, I'm planning to go today. I'm going to Target and TRU today, I don't know the UPC numbers. But you should be fine getting them today if you go to those stores and NOT the Lego Store.
