Mr_KnowItAll_JD23 Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 I think S@H is experiencing some glitches. In the US, all of the new sets except for a few Technic ones were marked as sold out before noon today, which can't be right.... I know right? Same thing happened to me. Quote

Yeah, considering a few minuts befor they were coming soon and then around 2:00 they became all available. Grabbed all the sets I wanted minus the Bad Cop set. Quote

StreakofBlue Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 I assume you guys have all guessed this, but I think the Batboat Harobor Pursuit is basically going to be an updated the Batboat: Hunter for Killer Croc set. A lot of the 2012 sets were based on the Lego Batman sets. I don't own it, but the Batboat is really sick! So I'm really wondering more about this set. If the original set was $20, how much more money will this new one be in order to add a Killer Croc bigfig (assuming he will be a bigfig)? $30-$60? If so, what builds will they add? Part of the harbor? A set that costs $30-$60 wouldn't feel right with just a minifigure and a bigfig. So this is where it gets more exciting. What other minifigures would you expect? Probably a sidekick, but which one? Since Aquaman is already in this wave (and is not named Superman not Batman), I do not think he will be in this. So what other heroes will appear. Yes, I know there are so many questions, but I think we should discuss it more. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 The set name is called "The batboat harbor pursuit" and batman is going to be in this set along with robin or a new nightwing. A big fig Killer croc will also need to be included. We may be able to see either one more super hero or villain. So that leaves us with 3 or 4 minifigures, 1 big fig, batboat, a little boat for a sidekick, medium sized harbor, and a vehicle for croc. This set will probably cost $49.99. I think a new nightwing will be in this set. Quote
Monkey Joe Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Target will match their online price? If so, i may get multiples of the GL set :) (if I find it tomorrow) Quote

For figures, Im thinking Croc, Batman, Robin playing damsel-in-distress, and another hero likely Question or Nightwing or Hawkgirl or Atom or Booster Gold or Black Canary. For builds, Id expect a Batboat a bit smaller than the Spider Copter and a Croc boat a bit larger than Green Goblins Glider. Edited January 2, 2015 by psqidexslizer248 Quote

Really not crazy about that Croc Henchman and I really don't think Croc needs henchmen anyway as they usually just provide muscle which Croc already has plenty of. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Check out this picture, it's not the official set but an alternative build to the old 2006 set. I think something like this would work with maybe 2 more minifigures Quote

TheBatstan Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 I'm thinking the set will be similar to BrickQueen's Killer Croc Lair, except with Croc having his jetski or boat. Quote

I think if we get a sewer lair we'd have mention of it in the set name instead of a harbor. Edited January 2, 2015 by psqidexslizer248 Quote

Hate to burst your bubble, but we're definitely not getting another Nightwing, at least for a very long time, since we just got him last year. Quote
8BrickMario Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Probably just a Batboat, a small dock, and the figures. I can't see a bigfig Croc getting a vehicle, since the only kind of vehicle that would work would be platform-based, like Green Goblin and Darkseid's. And there's no platform vehicles that come to mind considering the setting and villain. As for heroes, definitely a Batfamily sidekick, and perhaps a new JL member. Quote

Amazing Bricks Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 (edited) I think the picture i put of that alternative build of the old 2006 set that has that platform and missles would work with a big fig. You're probably right about nightwing not being in that set but i just really want a blue nightwing. Edited January 2, 2015 by amazingbricks Quote
adotnamedstud Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 The set will likely be a Batboat, a boat/jet-ski for Killer Croc, a dock with a vendor and civilian along with a jet-ski for another hero (likely The Question.) I think The Question would be a great addition to this set. We need obscure heroes that people still know and respect. And nothing sets the scene other than The Question on a jet-ski with a stolen camera trying to stop and get pictures of Killer Croc. It'd actually make sense and be a neat addition. I also think a new Bat-copter would be a great idea because sets with repetitive vehicles are rather boring. And 3 water vehicles and a dock are boring. Hopefully LEGO sees that. Quote

BatZack Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Errr...why are we paying £50 for a 387 piece set? (Black Manta. Which is $40 in USA). We here in Australia have to pay $70+ for the Manta set. Count yourself lucky. Also I'm new guys but I've been following this forum since page 51 Quote
The-Daryl Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Target has the Green Lantern set online listed at 12.99 US. But they are unavailable. Hmmm.. intesting. Also Darkseid is listed for 59.99 not 69.99 ordered one of those and a Brainiac. Thanks for the heads up about this, Zion! I went and price adjusted the one I grabbed last week for the seven bucks back(I probably would have picked up another but they were out of stock already). Quote
JaseTJ Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 On the one hand, if Harbor is in the name (suggesting we'll get at the least a dock) we could get any land Hero... But on the other, we could always get Aqualad. I wouldn't argue. I also wouldn't argue with a Blue Nightwing, as his torso alone is going for upwards of $30 in at least one BL store :P I doubt the Batboat will be all that big, unless it's the double-cockpit one that I saw somebody built (Idk if it was based on the comics at all), but that would give room for Robin or Nightwing to ride with Bats. Anybody else hoping we'll start to get more sidekicks in general? Speedy and Arsenal haven't been too hard to purist custom, but I'll never argue with getting an official version of a 'fig instead. If I like an aspect of mine better I can always keep it, but official versions are likely to at least have a better torso and/or face print specific to said character. Quote
psqidexslizer248 Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 (edited) We need preliminary pictures, set descriptions, clues, hints, or something. Just2good, Hulk_smash, and everyone else who has consistently given us info in the past, however it is you find out what you find out, any chance you could do it now???
