We don't know if Lego designed it or the game designers. If it appears the same in a physical set than that means Lego designed it I believe. Essentially if an official Lego design exists they'll use it in the game and if one doesn't exist they'll make up their own.

Do they not work on it with Lego?

OK thanks.

I died too.

I find it odd how the Lego online shop was having technical difficulties and they fixing it up, but the Brainiac Attack set still isn't available. The rest are.

I hope that the actual build of the set isn't a BB animal, though. In want Slade to have something too, and since we get 3 figs, I think it's gonna be a $20 set.

We have no confirmation on the deathstroke set just yet, but apparently someone on groovebricks saw deathstroke. The other sets that were rumored now have set names except that so called deathstroke set. That's really weird to me.

Might be a retailer exclusive like BA and Hydra Fortress.

LEGO gives TT Games their existing and upcoming designs to put in the game, so the games often contain characters and/or vehicles that appear identically in sets shortly afterward, such as the Batboat and Aquaman in Batman 2, or M.O.D.O.K. in the Marvel game. So Beast Boy, Killer Croc, and New 52 Harley Quinn (all of whom are expected in the next wave) would likely be exactly as they appeared in Batman 3, but only if those characters were preview LEGO designs. Croc seems to be due to his realistic jaw hinge. The other two could be just as likely to be designs created by TT while making the game, though Beast Boy is more likely to be identical to the game.

We actually don't know how many figures are in the set, just that Starfire, Beast Boy, and Deathstroke are going to appear somewhere this wave and likely all together in a set.

That could be the case but that would probably make it 76042, in which case there would still be a set missing (76033). I think that when the other sets names were announced this one was skipped over for some reason (probably misinformation).

Went to my local Lego store today and purchased the two cheapest Superhero sets from the January DC release. The sets were the Brainiac one and the Green Lantern one however to my shock, the cost of the Black Manta set was £50! This is ludicrous compared to the US price which is $40 (I wouldn't have minded £40 but £50 is taking the mickey). :-/

We already established this, but just to say it again, commenting that you found sets that most people have found already doesn't help anyone. People have already said that the Black Manta set was 50 pounds in the UK, and that it's unfair that ours is $40, so for someone to say it yet again is kind of irritating. No offense, just putting it out threes that no one else does it again

I just noticed something: the helmet on the Suicide Squad Deathstroke in the game has two eyeholes, with the black side just being filled in with part of the head underneath. It seems odd that they would design that version alone with two eyeholes, when one would've suited it just fine and be easier to render. However, it would make sense that Lego would design the helmet with two eyeholes for the sake of reusing the part in other themes. Alas, that Deathstroke also has a new pauldron piece and unrealistic leg printing, so that's probably not the exact design we'll be getting.

It makes sense that we'd be getting Deathstroke about now, since Lego has made a bit of a point of showing off their new multi-colored molding lately and given DC's insane infatuation with the character. It's also possible that, since this does appear to be a Teen Titans-based set, that we'd be getting a Teen Titans Deathstroke, or more accurately, Slade. It would require far less expensive printing.

I think it's safe to assume that we'd be getting the Beast Boy from the game, since they've been showing him off a little bit (He got the spotlight on the Teen Titans variant cover, despite Wonder Girl, Robin, and Kid Flash also being in the game) and it's the most recognizable version of the character. I'd say he'll come with a gorilla to turn into, since they could just use a recolored Grodd for that. Maybe even a shark depending on the setting.

Starfire's probably going to be the Starfire from the new DLC, pink hair and all.

If there's a fourth figure, I'm hoping it's Terra. Raven would be insanely cool, but I figure if we were gonna get her they would've mentioned her specifically. Terra on the other hand is a bit less recognizable and uses entirely pre-existing pieces. If that were the case, though, it's hard to say which Terra they'd go with: the animated version or the one from the game.

He was just saying what sets he managed to pick up, yes maybe he repeated the part about the Black Manta but i have interest to know which sets he found and where, Im just saying , what may not be relevant to you can be completely relevant to others.

For Deathstroke I'm betting we'll get the mask from the game, the classic torso print from the game, and dark blue unprinted legs with orange hips. I don't think we'd see Terra without seeing Raven (if she's in there, the employee who reported this info probably just missed her, never saw her, or didn't recognize her). The best chance we have of seeing both of them in this set, IMO, is if the Teen Titans set turns out to be a $40-$50 set with 5 figures: Raven, Starfire, and Beastboy vs. Deathstroke and Terra.

No offence taken; I just haven't visited this thread in a while and seeing as it wasn't mentioned on the last page I thought that I should share my experience just incase people like me who haven't visited in a while could know. At first when I saw it in the Lego store I thought that the label of the product has been misprinted .

Just read your post, thanks. I found the full new DC superheroes line at Leeds Lego store in the United Kingdom. They had practically all the sets that were meant to be released in January. If anyone managed to spend £50 or over in December, then it's worth knowing that you can now pick up the free lego advent calendar (on the back there is a coupon to collect a free store minifigure in February). They also had the nice new LM set with Unikitty and the updated version of Batman priced at £11.99.

Btw I have no clue how old this news is so can someone possibly enlighten me on these two new sets that are being released: 76034 Batboat Harbour Pursuit and 76035 Jokerland. :classic:

Sure! 76034 will most likely include a bigfig Killer Croc, a Batboat, a piece of a harbor, an unknown DC character and Batman. 76035 will be $100, and will include around 6 or 7 minifies, two being Bats and Joker.

I managed to grab the Brainiac attacks set in my nearest LEGO store ( Milton Keynes UK ). They had completely sold out of Green Lantern vs Sinestro and the Javelin sets, but were confident they would get some in on the 13th of January. I mainly got the Brainiac attacks set simple because of it's exclusivity and not knowing which British retailer would have it. Is it a Target exclusive in the US? If so then I'm guessing it would either end up in TESCO or Smyths Toys. Since there's no Smyths Toys near me and I've been burned by there exclusivity before ( Doc Ocks Lab ) I couldn't take the chance.

All in all it's a great set, a shame about getting the same Supes figure, but MM, Supergirl and Brainiac easily make up for it. The new capes are fine to me they certainly don't crease as easily and the flexibility in them looks a lot more natural.

One problem I have notice is with the Superjumper. I have no inclin to use it ever but I though I'd see how well it works. Jumping wise it's fine and it launches pretty well, but the problem with it is that it chews Minifigure legs. I've got two lines running parallel down the back of his legs, and it chipped some of plastic off the bottom of the stud holes. It's also pretty difficult to remove from the bottom of the legs, I'm just happy that it chewed up Supes legs and no one else's as I can replace his easily. Have these jumpers chewed up anyone else's?

I didn't hear anything about this either.

We haven't had a $30 or $35 set yet in this wave so I'm going to say that the deathstroke set will be in that amount range.

We didn't get a $10 set either, so I don't think just because we didn't get a set that priced this wave means we'll get one next wave.

Calm down. I think mattdev25 was just summarizing our speculation of the DC Summer 2015 sets. I think...

I haven't noticed anything...I'll check. Thanks for the heads up!

I'm going to take more care of my new Flash minifig. My older Flash minifig's paint on the yellow wings was wearing off.

I would. There's no other reason they'd include the word "Harbor" in the name, is there?

Why is it that on the Lego Online Shop, the Brainiac set is out of stock for 30 days again. Yesterday it was the same. If it was out of stock, wouldn't it be changed to 29 days until stock?

Patience. Something we don't have.

Yeah, I think there will be a small dock, like someone suggested.
