For anyone who would like a decent scythe for the Scarecrow, I found a pretty nice solution. Put a brown "sideways lightsaber hilt" over a brown 4L bar, and attach one of the blade pieces with a bar on the edge (that clips can attach to) and a Technic hole to the side of the hilt. I'd been trying to find a good way to make one, and I think this one is good.

Uhhh.....what? Could you post a picture or post a link to a tutorial?

Am I the only one slightly underwhelmed by this wave? I'm an avid minifig lover so having only 3 new minifigures spanning 2 sets, where one of those sets is already crammed full of 5+ figs, leaves me kind of unimpressed. I love Beast Boy and Starfire but their inclusion in the Jokerland set seems odd and I doubt the set will be worth the hefty pricetag. I suppose I'm just a little underwhelmed after the awesomeness of the winter wave lol.

I just saw the news! Dang, just2good was right about the Titans figures being put in either of the two sets.

Thoughts on the Batboat Harbor Pursuit:

I'm really okay that there is no Kiler Croc. The set sounds like a $20 USD one and my wallet loves that. Plus, I'm glad that we'll finally get Deathstroke! As for Robin, I really want him to be Red Robin or the red/black/yellow Robin costume. http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb57887/batman/images/2/2f/Robin.jpg

Thoughts on Jokerland:

I might get this next year because that price is huge! The zip-line sounds awesome. It seems like a lot of you are excited about the mini figures and vehicles (which I am too), but that zip-line detail really intrigues me. I wish there were other figures instead of Penguin and Poison Ivy.

Everything is awesome!!!

Batboat Harbor Pursuit is 30 pounds (or maybe it's euros?), which will probably translate to $30.

J2G said in his latest status update that LEGO got really mad at him for reveling the pictures last time, and they're covering their tracks really well, so there is no chance he'll be able to upload new pics.

Man, that stinks.

Yeah, these sets are a little disappointing after the superb winter sets, but they are somewhat close to what I was expecting, so I'm not exactly underwhelmed. Poison Ivy and (especially) Penguin rehashes are really the biggest bummers though IMO, especially since we could have gotten soo many other interesting figures.

First off, thanks to the guys who saw these sets and for getting all this information for us! All of this info is very much appreciated. That said, I too am kind of disappointed with some of the minifigs but in the end I know I'll buy whatever DC sets are offered by Lego and display my favorites proudly.

Agreed, thank you to everyone who has seen the sets for giving us information. You guys are the best!

Why is Poison Ivy exclusive for expensive sets?

So far, we have got her on The Batcave, Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham Asylum Breakout and now Jokerland

I was hoping for 90's version of her. But if she has green skin, it won't be the case

We might find out more about Ivy tommorow when brickset completes their toy fair report. If not, maybe Nuremberg will get us some pictures.

I wonder if that new Joker bumper car polybag, which I still have yet to see at retail, is still meant to go with the Jokerland set. Maybe we could get 2 sets and combine them into 1 giant "Jokerland". Then leave the Penguin's "duck" ride as is, and MOD where the 2nd "duck" ride is with a bunch of bumper cars from the polybags in different colors.

Or add The Joker's Funhouse to make it bigger ?

I don't know if TLG meant for them to go together due to the long wait between the two sets, but I think I speak for everyone when I say we want to see the two side by side to make one kickass funhouse.

Brickset report from CapnRex101:

"DC Super Heroes (June)

Probably the biggest surprise of the entire Toy Fair for me was the news that the Killer Croc bigfig was nothing more than a rumour. I asked the staff member about it and he commented that he was aware of the rumour but didn't know where it had come from as there was no truth in it. Unusually it is the minifigures that disappoint in these sets (although I am looking forward to Deathstroke) while the sets looked pretty good.

76034 Harbour Pursuit (£29.99) - This set includes three minifigures: Batman, Robin and Deathstroke. The image of Deathstroke on the card was still blank but I am delighted to see we are getting a Deathstroke minifigure as I love the character. I believe Batman now has leg printing but is otherwise the same as his most recent incarnation and Robin was wearing his New 52 garb. The Batboat has dual cockpits and Deathstroke comes with a jetski used to tow the safe he has stolen.

76035 Jokerland (£89.99) - This set was very impressive in every regard except for the minifigures. The Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Penguin, Batman, Robin, Beast Boy and Starfire are all included and each villain comes with their own twisted fairground ride. Joker has a large brick-built version of his face which is over the entranceway to the park while Harley Quinn rides a motorcycle across a highwire. It was unclear whether the villains were the same as the previous versions but since the minifigures in the packaging were not completed, I suspect these are new variants. Poison Ivy has a plant-themed ride while Penguin looks to have spruced up 'hook-a-duck' to make it rather more deadly. A 1989 Batman style Batmobile is included with a large air intake at the front. I like the set itself but would have preferred to see a couple of new villains. Beast Boy and Starfire were represented by blank minifigures in images."

Could it be possible that the robin in the Joker Land set is Red Robin? After all it would be another exclusive character, and another member of the Titans.

Posted

What recent incarnation is he talking about? New 52? Also, the Joker's Funhouse sounds, well, fun! I can't wait to see pics!

I think he's talking about the Batman we got in the latest sets, only with printed boots.

Red Robin is almost guaranteed since he said it's his new 52 garb.

If someone has a Brickset account, ask about Robin: Was it Red Robin? Was it Damian?? I need to know!!

Well Red Robin probably makes more sense because of his association with the other Teen Titan minifigs and also Damian has been out of the picture in comics just coming back to life this month.

I think he means putting the 4L stick, the lightsaber hilt and the Crescent Blade, Serrated with Bar together. At least that's what I did and it does look better than any I've seen Lego make.

Found this link in the Marvel Forum:

Sorry if it's repeated information.

I wonder if the Joker brick-built face will be a big Lego head or a big humanized head like in the Batman 2 videogame...

It's a humanized head along the lines of the one in LEGO Batman 3.

It said new fifty two Robin for the smaller set with deathstroke I thought...

Me too, this would be a great opportunity for Red Robin

Especially since he's the leader of the Teen Titans in the N52.
