TheBatstan Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Yeah I'm hoping for a RR as well. But which one? Pre-52 with the Batman-ish cowl? Or the New 52 design? Quote
Zergos Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I hope its new fifty two, just cause I really love the design of it more. And since the comment did say new fifty two, it'll prolly be that design. Quote
Kenuki Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 It said new fifty two Robin for the smaller set with deathstroke I thought... You're right Zergos, the report did say that, however I understood (or hoped) it to be "Red" Robin not just Robin. Quote
Dunedain Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 (edited) Yeah, that new 52 version is pretty sweet. At least it would be a bit different from the other versions of Robin we already have. He has a different mask, and the gold trim on his torso. I am REALLY psyched about the Jokerland set. I have been wanting to build a huge Joker funhouse for a minute. I have a ton of xtra original funhouses and many xtra parts, but at this point I will just wait till the summer. I will most likely get 2 Jokerland sets and combine them with everything I have already, making a giant funhouse. Edited January 21, 2015 by Dunedain Quote

8BrickMario Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I'm excited and hopeful that the villains in Jokerland aren't finalized, since it indicates significant differences from the previous versions. The highwire motorcycle is pure Harley (pun intended) and sounds intriguing. How is it done? Quote
Sam892 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 If any I'd prefer the New 52 version, it has a lot more going for it but still looks 'Robin' like. I've never been a fan of the Pre 52 version even when it was introduced in Kingdom Come back in 1996 when that outfit was worn by Dick Grayson. The Cowl is what mainly puts me off, it's too Batman like, the Robin identity gets lost in it. Quote
8BrickMario Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 The blade I used is this one attached to the side of this on top of a 4L bar in Reddish Brown. It's slightly awkward, but the blade can fold down, which is kind of nice. Quote
jtslimshady Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I really like the new 52 Dick Grayson (except for the crotch arrow), but either Red Robin would be awesome too. Quote
Wotan135 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Hope that Deathstroke will be batman 3 helmet version and not only printed head version.. Quote
zipper778 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 LEGO missed a GOLDEN opportunity by not including Mad Hatter in the Jokerland set. I wish we would have gotten Scarface as well. Oh well, the actual set itself sounds like it will compliment the 2012 Funhouse set. Quote
adotnamedstud Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 So, Batman will finally be getting leg printing. I hope it isn't some stupid boating variant costume. I'd like leg printing that works for any Batman. I also don't know why so many people aren't hyped about this wave. We begged for Deathstroke, now we're getting one. And everyone is nitpicking. And Joker Funhouse is actually quite cheap for all those figures. I really like how LEGO did a Justice League wave and a Batman wave. Being a Batman fan it's hard to get tired of Bat-centric sets. Trust me, I think all of you were actually kinda excited for these sets no matter what. And a majority will buy them anyways. It sells... So, yeah. I haven't bought any of the 2015 sets but I like them and want them. Quote
JusticeAvengingFellowship Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Jokerland sounds like the big Villian base we have been waiting for. Teen Titans are great figs to get and the batboat I'll pass and just buy death stroke unless its like old batboat, I need one for my batcave Quote
mattdev25 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 (edited) I think he means putting the 4L stick, the lightsaber hilt and the Crescent Blade, Serrated with Bar together. At least that's what I did and it does look better than any I've seen Lego make. Sorry, I don't know what any of that means. I don't make MOCs, I only get the sets, so I'm not familiar with the names of most pieces. Mainly I have not the slightest idea of what 4L means. Edited January 22, 2015 by mattdev25 Quote

legofanatic12 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I cannot wait for the Starfire minifig. I hope she will be based on her 2003 animated series appearance, not the new 52 or either in comics. Quote
TheBatstan Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I think I found the Jokerland Batmobile. Quote

Mainly I have not the slightest idea of what 4L means. My post above explains which pieces I used. Where is that Batmobile from? If that's what we're getting, it doesn't look that good. It's too much like the 2012 one but with a horribly-chosen cockpit that's really far back. Jokerland may be great, but I hope Batman doesn't get a bad vehicle. Quote
just2good Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I think I found the Jokerland Batmobile. I saw that in that promo video from today. Interesting, but I dunno. I'd imagine it would have more stickers. Maybe a prototype of it. Quote
TheBatstan Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I found it in this video, there's also pics of the 2014 Batmobile and the UCS Tumbler next to it so maybe this is the one? http://www.lego.com/en-us/dccomicssuperheroes/videos/batman-at-car-wash-700857d8e6414542b9c497260b6913c6 Quote
Dunedain Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Honestly, that kinda looks like a modded batmobile of the one that came in the Two Face set with the bank. Wheres that pic from btw? Quote

Dunedain Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Sorry, I just seen where that pic came from now. Quote
Kenuki Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Wow! Good catch! I saw this video over the weekend and that batmobile totally went unnoticed. If this is it, I can't wait to build it. Quote
psqidexslizer248 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I think I found the Jokerland Batmobile. Great catch, that's gotta be it. Not much different from the 2012 version (which is still the best one to date IMO) but there are definitely some differences in the build. Also, is that a new cockpit piece? Quote
