Well in the latest Lego Batman game (Beyond Gotham) Starfire's look is based on the cartoon,so I suspect she'll have pretty much the same look on the set.

As is Beast Boys.

I have very unfortunate news: my sources tell me Jokerland will be $120 USD.

On the bright side, Harbor Pursuit is $30 USD.

I was expecting it to be $40, but this is great news! It may be just too good to pass up!

EDIT: No pun intended.

Hopefully the minifigures will make up for it

$120 for the Jokerland set is too much. I was thinking around $90-100 for it would be right on. I guess I'll have to wait for a sale on that set. The Harbor Pursuit set sounds right on to me though and I'll buy it right away.

I'm still baffled. I can't seem to understand how Jokerland would be the same price as the Lion CHI Temple. Perhaps the final set is larger or has more to it than the preliminary picture shows. I'm becoming a bit more attached to it. I like the slide into the chemical vat (especially since some trans studs could be poured down it to fill it up), but that not-Joker clown face bugs me. If it weren't Joker's arch, I wouldn't mind, but it doesn't even look like him, though I like the bowler hat and bow tie. The slide doesn't seem connected to anything, and there's an odd purple support piece below the falling sign that I can't identify. I'm curious as to how the beam Harley rides on works, and what the Penguin section does. I need to see the final set at Toy Fair to make up my mind.

No way is Jokerland on par with a $120 set. That makes me hope there's more to it.

Like say, a Tyrannosaurus Rex for Beast Boy to turn into? (You all thought I was going to say Raven didn't you, well, you're right) Or maybe even Raven?

There is no way though the set we saw preliminary pictures of is worth $120, unless every single figure has an outrageous/unheard of amount of printing (I'm talking 360 around the arms, legs, hips, torso, head, hair, and hands) which I doubt, so here's hoping they made quite a few editions to the prelim.

Hopefully at NY Toy Fair they'll show us both Harbour Pursuit and Jokerland.......then we can decide on if they are value for money.

Well, if not, there's always the summer release date.

I don't know why we expect the prelim sets to change much when they are released. It's really only the figures that ever change from the prelim to the final, since most are just placeholders (Or in the rare case where they seriously change like Electro did). I mean I'm expecting the sets to look exactly like the preliminary photos, just with the correct figures.

That being said, from what we've seen, Jokerland is not worth $120. Even at $90-100 I'd have a tough time buying it, especially considering that I really only want the figures anyways--that and the fact that the build doesn't impress or match colors with the previous funhouse (Which is not that old, so honestly I don't know why we need another one to begin with). I do think that the Deathstroke set is also overpriced--I'd rather it be due to the new boot prints but I suspect it may have to do with the oversized Batboat, which is disappointing. $20 sets are the cream of the crop for the Superhero theme, so to not see one is surprising.

I can't really say if I like Joker Land or not, based on what I have seen, here is a list of thing we know about it:

#1 Mini figures: Joker, Harley, Penguin, Poison Ivy, Batman, Robin, Beast Boy, Starfire, Brick built Penguins and I think, I see a Robot Clown(minifg body, brick built head).

#2 The Theme Park Attractions: Harley's Bicycle tight rope, Penguin's ferris wheel, Poison Ivy's Space Shot, Joker's slide and Fun House, Giant cannon and the Bat Mobile.

Now for the unknowns:

#3 Mini figures: We don't know if they will all be new Variants.

#4 How much will the set change: It could be minor changes, like the colors of the rides changing and adding stickers or it could be major, like the entire set changing.

#5 Price: So far we have heard $90-$120 dollars.

So, I really can't decide til I see the finished set.

I may be in the minority, but I am happy the Jokerland set is $120 bucks. Hopefully this means its going to be huge, with a ton of "play" features, and all sorts of cool stuff. I am still holding faith that we really didn't get the full "story" of how big and nice the Jokerland set is, from just the preliminary pics alone. At that price it should, and hopefully will, have really awesome mini-figures with NEW printing, and a great set to boot. To me, if it was just $90 USD, then I would be expecting a, "OK" set, but at $120 I am expecting a great set. Again, I may be the minority, especially since money happens to be no issue for me personally due to my financial situation. Not that I am OK with throwing money away for something that is not worth it, I just think if TLG is charging $120 it hopefully will be an awesome set, and if it is awesome, I will be buying 2 full sets, and just sell the extra figures.

Well, so far, that's our concern. What we've seen certainly does not seem worth $120 at all, and even $90 seems like a stretch. I hope the bad quality of the prelims are hiding some good things, and that the next Toy Fair will change our opinions for the better.

I hope that price is not final, as over here in Australia it will be well over $200. Either way I will be getting it because I like the look of the set and with a few more goons and a funhouse escape set to modify it, I'll be happy
