DJ Bricks Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Yes Lego has only had Tim drake as Robin. The visual dictionary and video games (minus LB2!) Also do people forget that Tim wore the same outfit that Jason and Dick originally wore?! Quote

Numbuh1Nerd Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Why include the handband if it's the same color as the head? Why not just leave a blank spot? Quote

daniel9x Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 (edited) That first "Tim" outfit you linked to above is the one I grew up with in the 90s. Might explain why I'm partial to the 2006 Batcave Robin minfig over all others. Edited February 12, 2015 by daniel9x Quote
VictorFrenchFries Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Batzarro's head could have made a Bizarro head if it didn't have the headband. Yeah, he would have fangs. Quote

Might explain why I'm partial to the 2006 Batcave Robin minfig over all others. I'm really hoping we get a version of that suit soon, now that sleeves are a thing. I personally prefer the One Year Later suit, but official Robin costumes are always pretty fantastic. Speaking of which, I wish they would've varied up the Batsuits and Robin costumes over all those different Batman waves, especially the Batsuits. Batman's got so many different costumes that are all easily recognizable and it would've been nice to see more of those instead of just the same old Keaton and Pre-52 suits. I'm sure I'm not the first person to bring that up here, though. Quote
8BrickMario Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 I saw the movie today, and I was so tempted to get it- Batzarro looked great- but I'm going to wait a couple of days. I'm not going to miss out though. I want that figure (and the black tattered cape could be quite useful). Quote

I missed out on Clark Kent last time, and I won't let that happen again. $15 is just too much to pay for a seriously unimpressive movie and a minifig. Quote

Other than that, they actually never repeated the Pre-52 suit and Keaton suit past the first wave. The second wave had the dark blue suit and the final wave got the Dark Knight suit. I'd say that line mixed up the variants quite well unlike last year with almost every set getting the same Keaton suit for almost every single set. Edited February 13, 2015 by TDKR2012 Quote

I'd say that line mixed up the variants quite well unlike last year with almost every set getting the same Keaton suit for almost every single set. Last year we didn't get the Keaton suit in every set, only two of the five sets with Batman in them had the Keaton suit (the others were Batman Begins, Scuba, and Beware the Batman). The year before that, we only got one Keaton suit out of the three Batmans we got (the other two were arctic and TDKR) and the year before that we got three Keaton suits out of the five Batmans we got (the other two being the blue and grey version). If anything, I think this theme has given us better variety in Batman variants than the previous theme did. In the old theme, we got four different variants in three years whereas we got seven variants in the same time for the current theme, and just got two more this year (unless you count the new52 suit with the scuba head, which would make it three). Cheatster9000x Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Because he's BATMAN! Need I say more? Don't you mean he's BATMANTM? But seriously, I need to pick up a good few 2015 DC sets, if only to collect the Teen Titans (I still have all the figures somewhere, complete with communicators and accessories) Quote

A few funny lines, a decent relationship between Superman and Bizarro, but otherwise just awful. Wonder Woman has two kinds of lines in this: the "Screw you, Guy" ones and the "Those shoes with that top?! Ugh!" ones. Cyborg is annoying. Batman's more Lex Luthor-y than Lex Luthor. Darkseid is driving around in a giant spaceship with his face on it collecting rocks for reasons?? Somehow Bizarro World starts off as some random planet Superman dropped Bizarro off on and then later has backwards physics and logic without any explanation. None of the character designs look right, except for the ones that were already in production when Beleaguered came out. It's bad. Very bad. Quote

The reason for collecting the rocks and the backwards physics and logic are actually sort of explained in the movie, but the rest I'd have to agree with (except maybe the Wonder Woman part - I didn't pay any attention to her to know whether or not she was that bad (I guess my brain naturally blocks out stupidity )). I felt like the in this movie were unusually cruel for "good guys". A lot of putdowns, it almost felt like an internet parody. Quote

TheFuzz Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Darkseid Invasion camw today. Pretty excited. Other than Power Armor Lex, this is my first "non-Batman" DC set. Couldn't pass up the Javelin and sweet minifigures. Hope it's a good build. Quote
