does anyone know which Robins these sets are supposed to have? Looks like batboat damian, funhouse Dick?

I don't know but I quite like the new robin in Batboat. It looks good with the new hair

More DC pics! (for those who didn't see the video.) Harley's other face looks good! Penguin's the Arkham version, Starfire is terrific, the man-eating plant uses the new giant shell pieces, and I'm loving the graffitied signs!

The set's play features, however...make me want it immediately! The tongue of the clown throwing a minifig down the slide, the dropper ride, the Ducky Wheel, Harley's bike, the fact that they all work so well makes it a perfect playset. Never mind that I might find myself playing with it every now and then... I'm just hoping some production complications prevented a red/black pigtails hairpiece from being ready to show at the Toy Fair...

I think I'll pass on both these sets, hopefully there will be a better version of Deathstroke later, like these ones

I doubt it, Lego have gone with the classic comic book version in the light and dark blue and the orange, thats the reason there's no helmet cause originally it was a cloth mask over his face. Lego don't usually make more than one version of a less iconic villain like deathstroke as their target audience are mostly familiar with the Riddler, Penguin joker, Mr freeze e.t.c. Matching the classic look they have done really well, it looks exactly like the original comic book deathstroke, the material printing on the torso, the ammo belt, the mix of orange and blue even the back of the mask is printed with the bandanna string. Sure a more armoured version would have been nice (i personally am partial to the arrow look) but i'm just glad we got a deathstroke in the first place.

The builds are great, but I'm disappointed my almost all the minifigures. I don't care about Batman at this point (although the boot printing is nice), no new variants for Joker, Penguin, or Poison Ivy, and Teen Titans Robin doesn't interest me. This is why I wanted a helmet for Deathstroke. His mask isn't half orange, half black. It's an orange head with a black patch. Harley looks good except for the hair. I do like Beast Boy and Starfire, though I do wish she were comic based (there are less sexual versions of her in the comics), and I'm REALLY digging the new 52 Dick Grayson Robin. I'll buy the sets, but the minifigures overall are a let down

Nice spot! I wonder what this massive change will mean. All the stiff-legged children, Yodas and dwarves will be invalidated now!

I wonder how the legs look when sitting, because the third-party ones looked ridiculous when bent in the sitting position.

The penguin minifigure does not have bendable legs.... all shorts legs have a small waist and that is all that is seen in that picture... if you are saying he does because of Gray (little kid from Jurassic World) he is meant to be small but he still has normal minifigure legs as its clearly shown in this picture

LEGO Jurassic World Dilophosaurus Ambush (75916)

(Picture not mine)

He is probably standing straight when riding one of the ducks like all previous small figures (penguin stands on his duck ride on on the Penguin faceoff set or rocket in the Knowhere escape set)

I was suspicious that the picture was a trick of the eye, but I just haven't trained my skepticism well enough. Alright, then. I'm almost glad they're the same. For LEGO to make such a large design retcon probably would send the community up in flames, anyway.

Finally able to really comment on these after being out all day!

I'm rather impressed with both sets, but neither are perfect in my opinion.

I do love the Deathstroke set, if anything for just the classic orange and blue Deathstroke. He is just perfect. It's also nice to see a boot version of Batman in the smaller set. I'm not a fan however of Robin, who only reminds be of Batman Forever...and that's something we don't want to ever remember. The Bat-boat is terrible in my view. It's just a random collection of junk. Obviously Lego doesn't follow Batman's own rules to only build in black or very very dark grey--there's yellow, light bley, trans-yellow, trans-blue--just too much. I think the price is also reflected in those four unnecessary raft pieces. That's like four rowboats in one set; no wonder it's a $30 set instead of the prime $20 level.

Jokerland does indeed look better than the prelims, what with some changed colors and the stickers applied; but I don't feel it's worth the $120 price at all--I mean for ten dollars more I can get the largest JW set with the cool D-Rex to boot. I think part of the reason it seems so unworthy is the fact that everything built for it can barely stand on its own; and so in the end it just looks like a bunch of tiny builds piled together. I think the Joker section is really the only good portion of the Jokerland; mostly because of the mirror stickers, but the rest just seems rather empty hearted and built.

It not a surprise to see that three of the figures are repeats--but it is surprising to see that Harley has her old hat again instead of a new hair piece. Frankly, the jester hat just does not work on that figure and it looks terrible. Beast Boy and Starfire are of course amazing; and really they're the only reason I'd want the set, so I'm not sure I'll be picking this one up.

Deathstroke is amazing, he looks perfect IMO, the builds look better, and the Teen Titans Go inspired Beast Boy, Starfire, and Robin (a nice surprise) are fantastic, too bad Harley looks terrible though.

Something tells me we'll be seeing Teen Titans Go inspired Raven later this year (but I'm way too obsessed with Raven, so keep that in mind).

I think what you say is validI do feel like the separate Jokerland modules are a bit lacking as separate pieces, but their play features and the park as a whole are terrific in my opinion. I hated the Batboat, too. It's not sleek or organized.

In Harley's case, I agree. Even if the costume used the hat, the minifigure just looks horrible with it. It gives up an odd "toughness" vibe that really clashes with the New 52 look. I feel bad for griping about it so much, but what really makes me want to bash my head against the wall and weep is that LEGO is apparently ignoring the perfect piece, either through a lazy unwillingness to make an accurate fig, or pure stupidity:

I am praying to the LEGO Gods (that's right, the CMF Ocean King and Battle Goddess  ) that Harley includes that pigtails hair piece in red and black in the final set. Perhaps it couldn't make it to Toy Fair and the hat will also be included? That's my delusional explanation for why the hat's on the box art. I'm actually legitimately worried that it really won't be there, since the existence of the mold is the only thing keeping me hoping.... Nothing else about what we've seen today indicates that Harley will have anything else.

Okay, I'm done. No more.

I think the new Batboat is great. The 2 front rafts can eject, it looks like, and there seems to be a control panel in the center of the boat once you lift up the satellite pieces. I think the whole set is awesome, and I am really looking forward to it. The repeats of the Penguin, Joker, and Ivy, SUCKS, but otherwise, I love The Joker Land set. I have been scrutinizing every picture to see where, and how, I will be able to combine 2 Joker land sets, and the original Funhouse, or 2, all together into a giant set. I already got some ideas just from seeing the pics. This kinda stuff actually drives me nuts, and keeps me up at night contemplating what I plan on doing with a set that's not even going to be available for another 6 months, GEEEZ!

Wow, always an exciting time looking at the NYTF images. I like the idea of the Batboat, but I'm not a big fan of the look of the minifigs really. I think for Lego purposes I'm sticking with the all black Bats from the last range or the easy conversion to the Animated Adventures look with light grey suit, black cape and black and yellow badge. Although the printing quality on Bats and Robin looks amazing I think it's almost too much for the cartoony look I like. If you prefer the more "real world" look, then they are fantastic. So no Batboat for me, I'll stay with the earliest version or a converted one from the Iron Man seaport battle set.

Joker Land, on the other hand, is for me. I agree it's a bit bitty, but spread out across a base plate or mixed with the Funhouse, it'll make a wonderful scene. I think that the sections are well thought out, and are genuinely funny with a lot of play potential. I also agree it's pricey, but that's because of the minifigs. I am not a fan of all of them. Harley just doesn't work - I don't much like her new look anyway, but if TLG are going with it, use the zombie cheerleader hair. If updating is happening, then Ivy could have been updated to make her greener. The one I most like is Robin. His arms are great, and allow for an Animated Adventures-looking version to be created. So I'll buy it as soon as I can, and sell off some of the minifigs to recoup some of the expense.

I think Legos choice is quite obscure for an already obscure villain (at least for children). I have a feeling Lego chose this extremely classic costume because a modern tacticool Deathstroke is planned to be released in the future. Maybe for one of the movie universe sets, it´s the only thing he hasn´t been in that was made in the last 5 years. Or maybe an Arrow set. When Lego can pull through with TDK Joker there is no reason for them not to also do Arrow.

So its seem simple but for £100 you are buying jokerland and what do you want a new joker maybe or at least one we have not had time and time again. Also not keen that this is what they want they biggest ever non d2c set to be, I always hate it when lego give us lots of small thing in a big set and miss out on giving us something very impressive. The boat I am not sure if I like or not with the 4 small boat molds but robin looks different which is a good thing.

I think the lighting is confusing my eyes, because it's making Starfire look like she has tanner skin than Ivy or Penguin. I keep looking again, but she still looks darker-skinned. Even on the box in the minifigure lineup. I know there's no color that matches what I'm seeing, but it's odd how the lighting on her is making her skin look darker.

And I do sincerely apologize for my annoying ranting and raving. But for me, giving New 52 Harley a hat instead of the hair that's made for her is like finally releasing Raven in a set and somehow neglecting to give her a hood. It's a stupid choice that ignores the obvious solution.
