I'm not a expert of the Friends/Elves sets but are the "Mini dolls" hairpieces compatible with Minifigures?

I think those sets may have some use then :classic: I always ignore them before but may be they can be a source for "spare parts" :classic:

They are Compatible from what I know but they aren't the same type of plastic. It's a soft plastic.

Thank you for the info. I'll keep it in mind: if I really need one of those parts I know they are compatible :classic:

I thought the male hair was made the same as the regular line, and the female hair was rubber? Of course, that's just from looking at them, since I don't have any of those sets. (I'm considering getting some Elves sets for the hair, and a Friends set if I can find a good hairpiece for Barbara Gordon)

The "Princess hair" in cool yellow might look good (Willie Scott's hair from the Temple of Doom set). Although I might try Thor's hair...

That piece wouldn't be too bad (although it looks a little outdated in my opinion). It feels pretty Supergirl-esque to me. Thor's might be a bit of a reach, though.

The exceptions are Natasha, who uses Wyldstyle's ABS hair in blond, and Farran, who has a new male ABS hairpiece. But yes, female mindolls generally have rubbery hair, while males use pre-existing ABS hair.

I guess with Natasha you are not referring to Agent Romanov lol Just a little "super hero based" joked

I have no knowledge about the Mini dolls themes. I found very interesting the fact we can actually find useful pieces in those sets.

I'll give a look at those who can have something useful, without spending a lot of money on theme since there are other Lego priorities :classic:

Nope, the hair salon lady.

For my Barbara Gordon I used Mia's hairpiece :classic: . http://brickset.com/parts/4621315

I'm taking note of all those info on the hairpieces. They can be very useful. I never thought I would have paid attention to the "mini dolls" sets. Never say never, it seems :classic:

No, it's dark red. But Ariel's hair is quite voluminous and matches Batgirl's hair color.

Ooo! That would work really well! And she comes in a small set! Now if only there was a flesh head similar to Batgirl's with glasses....

Sadly, that small set was discontinued before I could get a couple. I'm going to look online.

I think the Harleen Quinzel head would work for that!

Aw, it is? Darn.

That head always seemed a little too sinister for most characters. It sorta indicates a level of sass that Babs just doesn't intrinsically have. Maybe I'll go without the glasses and stick with the Batgirl head. Barbara doesn't even wear glasses (for the most part) in the New 52.

Speaking of Barbara, what do you guys think the odds of us seeing a new Babs Tarr Batgirl soon? The Steamroller set is getting clearanced in a lot of places, and I'd think we'd see some more important Bat-family members back on shelves sooner rather than later. Plus the new Batgirl design is easily one of the most well-received costumes in the New 52, whether you hate the reboot or love it.

Probably the next time we get comic based Batman sets, unless she gets confirmed for the movieverse (the DCCCU - DC Comics Cinematic Universe?).

I think that the next few comic sets should go away from the movie sets, there's quite a bit of content we all are dying to get and I think if LEGO does that, it'll be good. I personally don't want BvS sets, Suicide Squad set(s) ((Hopefully!)), and Batman or Superman revolved comic sets. I think LEGO could make some independent Flash sets. As DC is currently feeling the love for The Flash right now and hopefully will still be getting that notice in such a regard that LEGO makes other sets. We've all had perfect ideas for sets, now just to see what LEGO decides to do.

It's just the DCCU (DC Cinematic Universe)

What are the chances (given where DC is going and which characters its focusing on) that Green Lantern will appear in a smaller set anytime soon?

Or should I just go ahead and buy the current Green Lantern set now before it disappears?

I'd highly recommend buying the Green Lantern set. It's a great little set. We should get JL soon but I'm not sure about Sinestro, so I'd act now.

Anytime soon? Slim to nil. The current set is already the second-lowest price point for Super Heroes sets anyway, so I'd recommend you go ahead and get it. I don't anticipate a smaller GL set happening until he's in a movie.

Since the 2011 Green Lantern film, don't expect him to show up in the DCCU for a while.

Hardly true. If they were willing to make a suit for SDCC based on the movie suit. I doubt they'd care. A movie's revenue from 2011 has no effect on LEGO's sales in the future. And he's bound to show up sooner or later.

True - a new Green Lantern movie is slated for 2020, and he might show up sooner than that considering Justice League comes out in 2017 and Justice League Part 2 in 2019. But I'm certainly getting ahead of myself; this is, after all, the 2015 thread...
