There are 5 sets in this latest wave, so what if...

-A Batman set, with Alfred, Batwoman, and Killer Croc. (Sewer build with a Bat-skiff or something)

-A Flash set with Captain Boomerang, Kid Flash, and Heatwave. (Bank robbery, maybe?)

-A Superman set with Bizarro and Lois Lane. (Daily Planet?)

-A Wonder Woman set with Cheetah and Steve Trevor.

-A Titans set with Raven, Aqualad, and Speedy fighting Brother Blood or someone.

Agreed. It's really sort of pathetic that the only new Bat-characters in this theme have been Batgirl, Man-Bat, and Damian Wayne (Gordon also counts, but that was a movie set). Poison Ivy and Penguin have been in three sets now, and Ivy has had only one design! Joker is understandable, though overdone, and Harley has been done only twice. I'd personally like Moth, Hatter, Clayface and Firefly, but I would also like another Two-Face for an updated black-and-white suit. A set with Cheetah would also be great, and more JL and Flash would be great.

I see this theme's two biggest problems as

1. Batman's vehicles take up a lot of parts that could have better use on the sets' locations. Batman himself is fine, but his cave can't accommodate all of the vehicles!

2. There are too few sets each year. The JL and first waves were great, but we've had these in-between waves of only three sets, which is disappointing, More sets regularly would hurt our wallets, but it would give us more stuff. It's not like they'll run out of material.

Harley has actually been done three times if you count the one in Arkham. I agree 100% with everything you've just said, especially the part about more sets. If they had just given us a $13 set with each of the waves this year, it wouldn't have broken our budgets (too badly) and we could have gotten some more highly desired characters. How perfect would a Bizzaro vs Superman $13 set (perfect to tie into the movie) and a Flash vs Reverse Flash $13 set have been? Or even a Wonder Woman vs. Cheetah set for that price? Or, even better IMO, stick Reverse Flash in the Grodd set and put Captain Cold, Mirror Master, Flash, and Heatwave in a $13 set (it's been done before) titled Flash vs. the Rogues - that would be a dream come true.

Those sound just...so, so wonderful :cry_happy:

That Flash set would be almost like an army builder set, like the Iron Man vs. Ultron guys. I doubt Lego would ever put 3 brand new desirable figures in one cheap set, though.

Well, not a 15$ set, but what about Green Lantern, Sinestro and Space Suit Bats? That was an awesome cheap and desireable set with three exclusive and new figures!

We were only taking this theme into account, though.

Maybe next year; cross your fingers. :excited:

No, I doubt they would, but I can dream.

Frankly, I'll take the Rogues anyway I can besides new 52 style.

Speaking of The Flash, anybody got any news on the Trickster?

Mark Hamill was fantastic in the role, really hope he returns. Devon Graye did a very good job too.

Oh, you mean the Lego one. Nope, still nothing.

After seeing the announcement about the animated Batman 66 movie coming out next year that will include Catwoman I'd say it's pretty likely that the cat lady hairpiece from the Halloween CMF is intended for a 66 set at some point. Granted it could always be coincidence, but I tend to think the movie means it's more than that.

A $20 set with two new characters and a Batman variant isn't quite as out there as a cheapo army builder with the Flash and 4 colorful, unique bad guys that could justify a larger set. The Ultron drones are mostly uniform and can't really carry a whole set on their own backs, but Lego can easily make sets for Mirror Master, Reverse Flash, Weather Wizard, and Heatwave individually and make much more cash from it.

Boy I hope so. This new animated movie is going to be the perfect opportunity to do a '66 Batman set, and it would make sense of why they didn't do it last year during the 75th anniversary (well, aside from the small SDCC exclusive set and the marginally related Juniors build)

Well clearly they are considering Iron Man vs Ultron is big seller for people who want to army build.

It'll probably be a PG-13, but there's still a possibility that it'll be rated R. I mean, we are dealing with a team of convicted murderers with bombs in their heads.

They did manage to keep Batman: Assault on Arkham (which really should have been called Suicide Squad Assault on Arkham, guest starring Batman) down to a PG-13 rating even with some heads exploding.

If Lego does any "The Squad" members I would like to see Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and Bronze Tiger.

I don't see Bronze Tiger happening just because he's not in the movie (yet). The other two are pretty much guaranteed if you ask me.

Hey everyone, I have a question for you all. Ive accumulated around £30 of lego VIP points and I only have the Black Manta set missing from my DC collection. My issue is, is it worth using my points on? I know the price has been a sore point for many and many reviews on the web have said get this cheap, should I wait for an offer and spend my points on something else; or use my points on it? Thanks in advance for your help!

Well the main reason for me not buying it was that I already have Aquaman and all I wanted from the set was Black Manta thus I Bricklinked him.

So if you want builds and minifigs, go for it, if not we'll I'd hold on to those points.
