psqidexslizer248 Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 (edited) Bought Jokerland today. Has anyone else on here gotten it? I'm curious about the Harley Minifigure as I think mine has been misprinted. Mine has a black smudge on her right cheek, and an extra black mark on her teeth making her look a bit 'hillbilly'. She doesn't have these features on the box art, can anyone else shed some light on the matter? I don't have the set, but the pics of Harley from the Toyfair don't show any smudges on her cheeks or teeth. It sounds like you got a misprint to me; I would contact Lego to replace your head. Edit: And by your head, I mean the Harley Quinn head from the set you got, not your actual head. Edited June 3, 2015 by psqidexslizer248 Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 (edited) Yeah, regardless of how disappointing the design is, she shouldn't look that bad. Since the marks aren't on both faces, it's also a giveaway. Definitely a misprint. This is what she should look like (grinning): Hey, I just realized that the Big Bang Theory set offers up two female heads with glasses that could be used for Barbara Gordon/Oracle! Now, if there was only a female torso with a yellow T-shirt... Edited June 3, 2015 by 8BrickMario Quote

April O'Neil (cartoon styled) from TMNT has a yellow shirt, if you switch out her arms with the Trickster's it should work (provided you don't mind the 5 on the shirt). Quote

You can always put the arms on the other way so the 5 is on the back and the front is plain yet still maintains the curves. Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 (edited) I don't know if that's a good solution, since the shirt Barb wears in The Killing Joke is a short-sleeved button-down. I'd be better tasked with creating a good wheelchair for her as Oracle. I also need a good hairpiece for her. Edited June 3, 2015 by 8BrickMario Quote

8BrickMario Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 I think that's one idea, but it doesn't match Batgirl. I think Ariel's hair is still the best idea, but I missed my chance to get it cheap. Quote

Can't believe the set got retired and or discontinued so quickly. Would Black Widow's hair (from both Avengers themes) work? I think I know the answer tho. Quote
psqidexslizer248 Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 (edited) I think we just need a offical Oracle, as a promotion figure because I can't see her working in a set. Maybe she can be the next-next movie promotional figure (because the next one has to be Raven ). Edited June 3, 2015 by psqidexslizer248 Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 (edited) I can't see a demand for an Oracle fig in the kids' demographic. That's why she's another good candidate for a "summer-convention-punch-in-the-gut-to-collectors". No new parts necessary, and difficult to introduce elsewhere. Some other possibilites could be: Nurse Joker (TDK)- LB3 confirms that the hair wouldn't need to be new Flashpoint Joker (Use Starlet/Doc Brown hair in green)- I hope not, I really like this version of the character Thomas Wayne Batman (also Flashpoint) Reverse Flash (any version that could reuse Flash cowl) Raven (exclusive version followed by a different mainstream release) Harley Quinn (N52 w/pigtails, Arkhamverse) Guy Gardner Any of the Bizarro villains from the movie Two-Face (TDK, Black-and-white) Catwoman (Julie Newmar) Jim Gordon (comics, either old, or young and redheaded) Black Canary Ventriloquist/Scarface Characters they wouldn't dare make exclusives: Alfred- too important Batwoman- need new mold Killer Moth, Mad Hatter, Clayface- see above Edited June 4, 2015 by 8BrickMario Quote

Just because she is bat-family and you want her does't make her worth a minifigure. While yes it would be great to see a minifig in a wheelchair in a set I don't see it happening. Just my 2 cents. Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 I think Oracle COULD happen, but it's unlikely. Lego would probably have to introduce a new wheelchair piece that they'd want to get use out of or DC or WB would have to put her in something worth promoting. She'll most likely remain a favorite among purist customizers for a good long while. I'm a bit more interested in the Flash t-shirt that comes in the Big Bang Theory set, as well as the sleeves their. I also find it interesting that they used a different design for the Green Lantern power battery than what was in the GL vs Sinestro set. I wonder if that has something to do with licensing? It would be odd if it was, since both BBT and DC Comics are under WB's umbrella. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 I don't know if this is the place for this, but I just watched the trailer for the Attack of the Legion of Doom movie, and please god tell me that they aren't trying to make a love triangle out of Flash, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman? She got a degrading enough treatment in the last one, and I'd hoped that they would improve. Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 (edited) Well, LEGO technically stated outright that they hate her and don't want her getting her own set, so I wouldn't be surprised. LEGO is far from being a feminist pioneer. Edited June 4, 2015 by 8BrickMario Quote

I find it difficult to believe they "technically stated outright" they hate a character from an active license. Did they really? Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 There was a statement where they said the chances of Wonder Woman starring in a set were slim to zero; they simply had no plans to do such a thing. Quote
BluePulse Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Wow, when did that happen!? That sucks so much Quote

Blondie-Wan Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 There was a statement where they said the chances of Wonder Woman starring in a set were slim to zero; they simply had no plans to do such a thing. That can't be right. If nothing else, we know it's just not true - there's the Wonder Woman Fun Pack for LEGO Dimensions, which I realize may not be what most here mean when they say "set" but it still is one, and it clearly stars Wonder Woman... Do we even know they will be Friends sets and not regular ones? We know they won't be Friends sets; Friends is a totally different theme. I'm guessing you mean minidoll sets, i.e., sets that use the same figure type (minidoll) as Friends. That seems likely to me, but I'm pretty confident there won't be sets that have Olivia and Batwoman hanging out at the beach together. Quote
