deskp Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Superman's new hairpiece in dark brown would be perfect for the 11th Doctor... a sign for things to come? Well most of the 11th time was spend with floppy bangs down in hsi face, so the classic superman hair might be better for that. but this new hair does look alot cooler. If he'll be an upcomign dimenstions figure he might even get a new hairpiece. A new batcave would be cool. assume were getting the bat'plane' and the batmobile. Quote
psqidexslizer248 Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 (edited) I really hope we get a proper Batcave this time That'll probably depend on whether or not any of the films action will take place there. I'm guessing we will be seeing (perhaps even at SDCC) a $40-50 set with Batman, a couple of thugs, the Batwing, a truck with an exploding function, and anything else (perhaps a crane as it was reported they were using one while filming a Batman scene last year) from that scene we saw briefly in the trailer. Amazing Bricks Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 So this picture shows how trickster is going to be packaged inside the "Attack of the Legion of Doom" DVD box. Also they call this a collector box: Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 (edited) I won't get the version with the clock in it! Just the regular one! I just noticed something in CMF S14. I think we might get another Scarecrow minifig sometime next year... Edited June 12, 2015 by 8BrickMario Quote

This might be off topic but has anyone found Jokerland in Canada? I haven't heard anyone say so yet, I think it's supposed to be released in August for North America. Actually, you are more on topic than alot of the recent post have been (mine included). Edited June 12, 2015 by psqidexslizer248 Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 In fact, I'm more certain a new Scarecrow is in the works, because the crooked hat with straw-like hair is enough, but there's also a Grim Reaper, who will most likely have a new scythe piece! I hope we get a Mister Mxyzptlk minifig at some point. That would be nice, but the bowler would probably take the place of the hair, since the bald cap piece wouldn't accommodate the hat. Quote
BrickSev Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 What do you think about Jokerland set? I'm very tempted to buy the set for the selection of Minifigures (and I'm sure I'll buy it) but I'm curious to know if it's also an interesting build Thank you for the help Quote
Captain Nemo Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 I'd be really happy if we got a new Scarecrow with that upcoming Witch hat (who by the way, I'm also super excited for, I love collecting Lego Witches). The straw hatted Scarecrow is not my favorite design of the character, but I'll admit that would look amazing. At least anything is better then getting more Lego Penguin... But first of course, before anything, this theme has a serious lack of Killer Moth going on, and that needs to be fixed above all else! I do hope we get some nice stuff in the winter wave too, or any great things before the DC movie universe kicks off and comic sets become extinct. Quote

I also love witches. I only collect comics sets for completion, so I will be disappointed if BvS leaves a long enough gap in their release, although I will definitely get a set with Superman for the hair. Killer Moth would be great, of course, but we also need Ra's, Hatter, and Clayface! Man-Bat is still the only Batman villain that hasn't been carried over from the Batman theme! Also, Croc would be nice. I wouldn't be surprised if we also got another JL wave that deliberately avoided starring Wonder Woman in a set. Quote

I do hope we get some nice stuff in the winter wave too, or any great things before the DC movie universe kicks off and comic sets become extinct. It looks like the winter wave will be BATMAN ft. superman sets, so these two summer sets might just be the end of comic based sets for a while. Altough, the Lego Batman Movie will likely introduce some new charaters, possibly Killer Moth, in comic form. In fact, I'm more certain a new Scarecrow is in the works, because the crooked hat with straw-like hair is enough, but there's also a Grim Reaper, who will most likely have a new scythe piece! I really don't know how they would fit in a comic based set with Scarecrow between the Batman v Superman and possibly Suicide Squad sets (unless those don't happen)... maybe a Juniors set with Scarecrow is in the works for next year? That hat work work better for a less scary more younger-kid-friendly Scarecrow, if you ask me (although I don't think we'll be seeing him with a scythe if this is the case).. 8BrickMario Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 It's a shame. I don't think the Suicide Squad movie or BvS will get more than four sets each, but I don't care for the movie sets as much. After those, we'll have the Girls sets, though... Geez, this theme is being derailed for a while! I agree that the witch hat is a bit cartoonish, but the straw-like hair texture just screams "Scarecrow". I don't know where he'd appear, though, since my guess is that the next Juniors set will include '66 Catwoman. They'll probably find some way to include him with that hat. Quote

Legocity2713 Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 I wouldn't hold my breath for a Scarecrow figure using that hat. In fact I like the current one much more. Quote

I do too, but I think the hat matches well enough, and I don't think LEGO will be making any more witches any time soon, so if they inevitably reuse the piece, Scarecrow's a good bet. I think they'd have to change his burlap mask to dark tan if they want the "straw" to be lighter. More recently, Scarecrow just has a long burlap "tail" on his mask instead of a hat, but he had the straw in Hush. Quote
Darth Carlos Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 That scarecrow hat could be used for the Scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz too since they are in the dimensions game. Quote

If he only had some hair. An SDCC exclusive set for Marvel has already been revealed, so I guess Lego will be having exclusives for both DC and Marvel and that we won't have to worry about two exclusive figures for DC... yet. Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I just want a Scarecrow in an affordable set for once! He's one of my favorite villains and I still don't have him! Using that witch hat would be a great call back to TAS and would be a pretty financially-safe bout of creativity and variety. Mxy seems unlikely, since we haven't even gotten Bizarro, Metallo or Parasite, but boy would he be fun! I loved his design in LB3, but it looks like it would take some nonexistent new molds to happen. I'd really love to finally get Killer Moth, since he's found more love with Lego than anywhere else so far! Ra's has to happen soon. Mad Hatter seems less likely, but still possible. It wouldn't hurt if they used in some other medium soon, maybe gave him a bigger role in the Arkham Knight. Clayface is waiting for the budget, I'm sure, since he's a bigfig that needs a new mold, same for Killer Croc. Firefly would be fun, too, but he probably needs two new molds or one Black Manta-esque one. Quote

Mr. Mxyzptlk doesn't use any new molds in LB3 (which unfortunatly opens up the possility of him being an SDCC exclusive... might want to stay offline that week just in case). As far as Killer Moth, and probably even alot of the other villains you mentioned, the best shot we have at getting them might just be sets based on The Lego Batman Movie. Quote
