BluePulse Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Yeah, I really wish I could get my hands on that old Batman. That's my favorite Batsymbol and it looks so good. I've had one for years. I was able to save him as he was being eaten by my dog though so now he has very slight bite marks. But I pretend they're just bullet hole since they look a lot like that Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Well, it won't last for long. Soon, they'll be focusing on Convergence costumes! Haha, yeah, no, those costumes are designed to fail. Every last one of them is specifically awful so they can easily return to the status quo. Their retcon costumes. (Like Gordon's gonna stay Batman for long XD) Quote

Superman has a reason for his and Batman's really fits the cop aesthetic which works well for Gordon. Wonder Woman is my favorite of the new designs. I just wish they hadn't gone back to gold. The Superman look may not make a cool figure, but the Batman and Wonder Woman costumes would. Quote
Robianco Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 (edited) Well we've had the Marvel SDCC figure announced. I wonder what Bat variant we'll get this year?! ;) Edited June 19, 2015 by Robianco Quote
adotnamedstud Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Well we've had the Marvel SDCC figure announced. I wonder what Bat variant we'll get this year?! ;) Likely a male and female. But I believe DC has been only males? Yep. I'm betting CW based too. White Canary would be bold but I can see them graze by with it. Quote
TheBatstan Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 (edited) Getting a Convergence Supes would be cool cause we would get the 1940s Fleischer Superman logo which could make great customs. If we do get Bat-Gordon it'll probably be like how the Hulkbuster was designed. Edited June 19, 2015 by TDKR2012 Quote

If we do get Bat-Gordon it'll probably be like how the Hulkbuster was designed. Then it wouldn't be a minifigure. One thing's for sure, it's someone who requires no new molds, or if they do, it means we'll get them in mainstream release later. There are a lot of choices, but hopefully they'll stick to variants or obscure characters that aren't too collection-damaging. Quote
Robianco Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 After last year I'm thinking maybe only one DC and one Marvel. Maybe a preview fig from another line like Scooby Doo (as with Bard) and another figure... Quote
Legocity2713 Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Bat-Gordon seems too bold. Convergence Superman makes the most sense. And it would be a fantastic fig! Its basically just superbly with a blue shirt instead of black one. Quote
Chookdude Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 (edited) Sir Garett just posted in the marvel thread that Roy Harper is the exclusive Edited June 19, 2015 by Chookdude Quote
ZionAzure Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Sir Garett just posted in the marvel thread that Roy Harper is the exclusive Died a little inside... I've been looking at customs for a while and couldn't find any I like... hey at least it's not Raven amiright? Quote
Sir Gareth Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 (edited) Yes, the DC exclusive is Roy Harper from the CW's Arrow. Edited June 19, 2015 by Sir Gareth Quote
ZionAzure Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Yes, the DC exclusive is Roy Harper. Any other tidbits we should know great Sir Gareth? Quote
Sir Gareth Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Any other tidbits we should know great Sir Gareth? That's all I know, sorry. Quote
K-Nut Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Hmmmm... As much as I like Roy, I don't think I have a problem with this. He'd look out of place with the current GA fig. I'm guessing he'll be a well designed figure, but nothing that I need. Quote
adotnamedstud Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Meh, not that bad. Makes sense to have Arsenal be the exclusive. Kinda saddened by that though, he's my favorite character on Arrow! Quote
Ultron Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Well at least we'll probably get a comic red arrow fig one day, just like with green arrow Quote
BrickSev Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Well, it won't last for long. Soon, they'll be focusing on Convergence costumes! They could focus on the "Darkseid war" story arc, instead. It seems a "big hit" for DC Comics and one of the core story arcs of this year In that case same costume as before but sets that could be as epic as the story they are about tell Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Arsenal makes a lot of sense. And he goes with the GA exclusive from the show, too, which will make him more desirable. I couldn't see him in any sets, either. Quote
clra2 Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Well if the DC exclusive is indeed CW Arsenal at least there are some good looking custom versions out there. But I really want an exclusive for the cool looking packaging. Quote
Master_Data Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Arsenal makes a lot of sense. And he goes with the GA exclusive from the show, too, which will make him more desirable. I couldn't see him in any sets, either. I actually expected Firestorm over Arsenal. The CW has really been pushing The Flash this year, and it would make a lot of sense to make him an exclusive as there is no way he'll appear in any set any time soon. Maybe he'll be the other exclusive. Quote
Zergos Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Well the exclusive of Arsenal from CW just killed me. He is honestly my favorite character in arrow atm, even though he's not on it much anymore.. What a shame.. Quote
Steph 104th Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 An CW ARROW Arsenal doesn't really bother me, I'm quite happy with my purist custom one(Star-lord milano torso/Star-lord Star Blaster showdown legs/a red hood and Night wings head. Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Arsenal makes a lot of sense. And he goes with the GA exclusive from the show, too, which will make him more desirable. I couldn't see him in any sets, either. The GA exclusive was not based on the show. The bare arms, fancy arrow belt, and the mesh tunic with neon lines are all giveaways. It's New 52, just like the one in the Darkseid set. Quote
