The GA exclusive was not based on the show. The bare arms, fancy arrow belt, and the mesh tunic with neon lines are all giveaways. It's New 52, just like the one in the Darkseid set.

It baffles me that so many people still think that figure was based off the show.

Since everyone seems to be upset with the choice of Roy as the exclusive, I figured I'd post mine that I made a while back. I think it's a decent purist substitute. It's based on the show, but fits with my modified New 52 Green Arrow well enough.

If it's an Arsenal fig, I will be more sad if it is from CW Arrow than if it was a comic variant (as I love the CW shows!). But, on the bright side, if it was a CW variant, it would get me hopeful for CW figs later in some kind of set, perhaps.

Don't bank on it. Example: Amazing Spider-Man and Amazing Spider-Man 2.

SDCC figure and an exclusive polybag.

If we're lucky Arrow will get a polybag too… but probably not. :cry_sad:

YYYEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!!! RAVEN IS NOT AN SDCC EXCULISVE!!!! :excited: :excited:

Most of SDCC exclusives are variants or obscure characters anyways. Although we all may never know what holds for the future, you shouldn't have been worried from the beginning

And we may get an Arsenal ( I prefer Speedy) in the future just like GA. Oh wait...we never got zur en rah Batman, or Spider Woman, or the Collector, or...

All I want is that Phoenix from 2012(?). I need more X-Men.

I'm more of a Red Arrow man maself, but I think it's more likely we'll see him than Batman of Zur En Arrh or the Collector, who aren't really all that desirable to the general public. Spider Woman seems like a plausibility if this next season of Ultimate Spider-Man brings her in or uses her again (I don't keep up with the show, but it seems like she could pop up in their big Spiderverse crossover dealy-bob) but otherwise doesn't have much luck. I suppose there's the off chance that they'll use her in the MCU since she's got more of a connection with SHIELD or the Avengers from what I know. Don't hold your breath over any X-Men though, since Marvel's only got maybe a quarter of the licensing rights and therefore profit from them. Anyway, that's off topic..

I could see them doing an Arrow Arsenal at SDCC and then maybe including a comic version or the TTG version or something in a set with Raven and maybe Kid Flash next year so they can round out their Titans collection. I'd say we're not likely to get TTG Cyborg since he doesn't really translate well into the new headpiece they made for New 52 Cy. That's the best I can hope for, anyway.

Dumb question, have they released an Aquaman keychain? I just realized I have almost all the JLA in keychain since I impulse buy them when I see them, but haven't seen or don't think I have seen an aquaman yet.

Hmmm, no I don't believe so.

Which reminds me, I need to get Green Lantern and Supergirl.

I saw this great method on how to remove their chains online recently, and then since I don't want a massive hole in their hair, I give them their respective hairpieces.

Anyone else do that? Its cheaper than buying sets thats for sure, and still purist enough for me.

Also, does anyone else think that the printing on keychains not as good as on Lego figs. I feel like keychains are printed on kind of cheaply. Is that just me?

No, unfortunately. However, my father is a HUGE Aquaman fan, so he ended up making one of his own with a figure he bought, There should be a tutorial somewhere on EB if you want to try it.

I purchased a GL Keychain the other day, and they only printed one expression on his face (which is unfortunately the stupid grin). I didn't inspect the other keychains that they had, but I'm guessing they're the same.

I'm tempted to start getting the keychains for the sake of custom figures. Lots of Green Lanterns out there to be spending $20 a piece. What exactly does the difference wind up being with those, other than the hole in the head and hair?

The torso and legs don't separate I believe (though with an army of Lanterns it doesn't really matter). You can buy Lanterns at least fairly cheap though Bricks & Pieces at S@H (the torso/legs for GL costs $1.65 USD and Yellow Lanterns cost $1.70).

none of the new key chains have double sided print on the heads, I tried it, but even then trying to spin the head of supergirl is impossible, but with the cloth cape it looks horrible. It's kind of weird how DC pushes keychains but the only keychains from marvel are just spiderman and hulk.

I know Marvel at least has some magnets through A@H, but then again DC does too. Maybe it's in the licensing agreement with DC and not Marvel?

Yeah, him, Spider-Man, and Hulk.

(Hulk I took off the chain and replaced his hair so it has no hole and now I have the exclusive Hulk figure)
