Neomars Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 It doesn't have to do with the new sets but I did see them today at a toy store I visited while I'm in France. The toy store I visited also still has 2 Arkham Asylum Breakout sets for 195 euros. Is that a fair price? considering its going up in value should I look into grabbing it? Its more than original price but yeah the set is going up insanely by price so if you don't have it I would grab it before they get snatched up. Quote
Chookdude Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Yeah, but geez, how would we ever get a '66 Catwoman minifigure! Just2good if you know something about a 66 batman set you better share your knowledge. I just started watching the 66 series and I really want a set. Quote
JPN366 Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Picked up the Black Manta Deep Sea Strike set at Walmart. For some reason, only in store at one particular Walmart, it was 25% off. Not at all the other Walmarts in my area. That 25% off price only showed up on the app when I was in the store. It scanned at the price scanner as $30, but the online price still showed as $39.95. When I left the store, the $30 price went back up to full price on the app. Weird, but I took advantage and scooped it up. It's an awesome set, I love Black Manta and his ship. My new favorite minifig. Quote
BrickSev Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Added a few accessories to my Deathstroke. Don't understand why he wasn't shipped with at least a sword holder. I was also hoping for a molded helmet, but hey, at least we've got an official fig now! I used the "Shoulder Pad" sheath from Ninjago for my Deathstroke. He also comes with one sword while he usually carries too but the set as an extra katana part so no problem about that Now all I need is to find a Lego sword to represent the Godkiller Sword Quote

They're kinda similar. Quote
JPN366 Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 I really want to get the Gorilla Grodd set, the Batboat chase set and the Batmobile/Riddler dragster set. Quote
Vindicare Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Just got through building 76027 Black Manta Deep Sea Strike, I'm a bit disappointed with Black Manta & his lack of a head. I like the fig & all, it just seems weird. Granted you can just throw a head on, just a bit surprising to see(obviously I hadn't read any reviews on it). I really like the mask print on Robin however. Throw a black cape/cowl on him, you'd have a pretty cool looking fig. Quote
Drewsko Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 I found the Joker Bumper Car set at TRU over the weekend. Finally, they're putting these things out openly. Only four bucks too, not bad. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 ^YMMV. My TRU won't sell any of those promos until after the promo period ends. So maybe next week they will put them out. Quote
Ashnflash Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 So just watched the new DC Animated movie! It was really good and felt a lot longer than the Bizarro one. Loved Mark Hamill in it bringing both Sinestro and the Trickster! We do see both Jimmy Olson and Louis Lane again so maybe we could be getting a Daily Planet set! Also Gorilla Grodd's design was fixed and he looks the way he does in the set now! Quote

psqidexslizer248 Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 I literally just got bac from buying that! I still have to get mine. Can't wait to see Lego Trickster and Lego Captain Cold together in person (now if only Lego made official minifigures for Captain Boomerang, Heatwave, Mirror Master, and Weather Wizard). Quote
Zergos Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 I got my trickster, and I decided to put up a comparison picture between my trickster, and the official one :D. So here it is, and I must say, I love trickster!! Quote

So here it is, and I must say, I love trickster!! https://www.flickr.c...eposted-public/ I like how you used the Racing Suit Riddler head for your custom Trickster. Something about that face-print just screams Mark Hamill to me. That official Trickster looks fantastic; even if the movie wasn't any good (it is good) I'd have to pick it up for Trickster alone. Yeah I only picked it up for trickster, but a couple parts of the movie were funny. Too many bad puns for my taste though lol. Yeah I might revamp mine to make him into james jesse version instead of axel since I have an official axel walker version now :D Quote

I like that idea, I'm going to have to try to do that too. Quote
Ashnflash Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 I think I liked the Bizarro one better but not that figure at all... should've been Bizarro... Liked this movie a lot especially that it was longer! I think the best parts were Mark Hamill's Trickster and Sinestro scenes! Love the figure and very happy to add him to my other Rogues! Quote
