K-Nut Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 The Grodd/Captain Cold and Black Manta have strange minifigure counts. 6 and 4 minifigures isn't something that has appeared in any Superheroes sets, right? Now thinking about it you're right (at least for DC. The Spider copter comes to mind with 3 figs and a bigfig). That's really odd, seeing how other themes use four figures a lot in their sets. Quote
Lego_Zebra Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Here's my prediction for the prices of these sets... -76025-19.99$ -76026-39.99$ -76027-49.99$ -76028-59.99$ Found them! Quote
K-Nut Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I know the Grodd and Manta sets are the same price, I think there were £45, and the Darkseid one was £70, I think, I didn't get a good look at prices. Really? That gives me a lot of hope for the Manta set now. Grodd will probably be higher in pricing due to all the figures, so we could really get a very nice Manta sub. Quote

K-Nut Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Found them! Right, but as I thought, those were predictions from before we had full info on all the sets. The Manta Sub and Grodd attack make sense for being around the same price (at least to me). Quote

K-Nut Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Time for a third glace,£45 for the Manta set sounds a bit steep. Not really. We get a Bat Sub, a Manta Sub, and a little scenery for Robin to be stuck too. $45 gives us good looking subs that aren't just thrown in for parts, something Superheroes need to learn how to do Quote

TheLegoExperience Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) Hmm, Hulk_Smash said Robin had a red hood. I don't remember him looking like that in the game. Where is this design coming from? Edit: Oh and thanks to the mod that pinned this topic. Edited August 28, 2014 by TheLegoExperience Quote
Hulk_Smash Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Did I say hood? I thought I put helmet. Either way he has a red helmet on. Quote
Steph 104th Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I hope its the classic diver helmet in red. Quote
Hulk_Smash Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 It looked like the helmet from the racer that was in one of the mini figure waves. Quote
TheBatstan Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 WOW this list sounds too good to be true!!!!!! Also could the Robin in the Manta set actually be RED HOOD? Here's hoping :D Hulk_Smash, a small request. Next time when you're at the toy shop, could you ask them if they have more info of the Batman V Superman sets and if we could be getting a new Batcave? Next time when you're at the toy shop, could you ask them if they have more info of the Batman V Superman sets and if we could be getting a new Batcave? I'm guessing there's no info seeing as it's a 2016 film and the sets are probably in the early design stages if they're even being designed yet. Quote
TheBatstan Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Well they were supposed to be released next year before the date was pushed back so they could have already have some prototypes. Quote
Hulk_Smash Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 They my have already started on them, but they won't be seen until 2016. Quote
Ultron Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Well they were supposed to be released next year before the date was pushed back so they could have already have some prototypes. But why would a toy store know anything about possible prototypes? Lego would keep that under lock and key especially considering they could spoil plot points. Quote
Sam892 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I assume that we will get another new Cowl for 2016, since Ben Afflecks Batman has two different cowls in the film. Quote

Sam892 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) Where did you see that? They've shown pictures of both cowls the first was a few months ago and second was at comic con. The second is part of Batman's Superman busting suit. First cowl http://cdn.screenrant.com/wp-content/uploads/Batman-vs-Superman-Ben-Affleck-Costume.jpg Second cowl http://cdn.ontheflix.com/images/bvsccon2014.jpg The second one made from what looks like metal with the ears being flat on top and having more depth. The second cowl was only shown inside hall H and hasn't been shown outside of it, but low res photos can be found of it. Edited August 28, 2014 by Sam892 Quote
Borex Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 White male with black hair. Maybe space suit Robin with placeholder stubble head. That would make sense for him to appear somewhere, even though we probably don't want/need another Robin. Plausible. Space batman needs space robin of course. Quote
Steph 104th Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) That armoured cowl is similar to the one from the Dark Knight comics Edited August 28, 2014 by Steph 104th Quote
Rinzler Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I think I found a way that Flash could be different, two words: Wally West. Some subtle changes to the belt and logo and there he is, the cowl might be a problem though Quote
DJ Bricks Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Could the guy in the cockpit be Grayson? Post 52 identity revealed version? Stubble maybe preliminary. Quote
