Hulk_Smash Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 It's Lego, what has continuity got to do with it? Quote
ZionAzure Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Very excited for this wave! Gorilla Grodd, Captain Cold, Black Manta, Sinestro, possibly Brainiac. My legion of doom will be nearly complete. Solomon Grundy, Cheetah, Toymaker, Bizarro left. Although they did make a Bizarro. This wave will also bring my Justice League to a complete roster. Very Good! Thanks Hulk_Smash Quote
Moon_Knight Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 FIg selection shaping up nicely That list is fantastic! We're basically getting every main JLA member besides Martian Manhunter (which we already got) and Hawkgirl. There's no complaining from me, Lego. We're almost getting every arch-nemesis for every JLA member too! Quote
Rocketeer53 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I didn't notice but has Green Arrow been spotted in any of these sets? If so do we know if it New 52 or the TV show version? Quote
deskp Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I didn't notice but has Green Arrow been spotted in any of these sets? If so do we know if it New 52 or the TV show version? He's not been spotted, and it would not be the tv show version if it was. lego did make new 52 arrow for comic con: http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140318045633/lego/images/7/7d/GArrow.png Quote
ZionAzure Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I would be surprised if we did get a green arrow. The show is a little dark for kids and lego is focused on kids. I would say look to the new game to see who the most popular characters with children are and base the sets off of those findings. But that is just me. Quote
frebbyl Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 It's Lego, what has continuity got to do with it? Haha! Forgot about that for a minute! Sorry... Haha! Forgot about that for a minute! Sorry... Actually, Lego has some continuity! *cough cough* movies *cough cough* You know, I am suprised Greeen Lantern is only in one set (well, maybe two if this Mystery Man is Kyle), because if these sets are based off of Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, Green Lantern has a prominent role in the story. The plot is Brainiac stealing the LANTERN rings, and it is in space... Quote
TheBatstan Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 If Grayson is the mystery minifig......meh. Quote

Ezekiel2517 Posted August 28, 2014 Author Posted August 28, 2014 so you only saw 4 sets, right? but the brainac one may be an exclusive 5th? Quote
frebbyl Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 If Grayson is the mystery minifig......meh. And didn't Hulk_Smash say the Mystery Fig had a white torso? so you only saw 4 sets, right? but the brainac one may be an exclusive 5th? Yes, or maybe the fifth one will be released later.. so you only saw 4 sets, right? but the brainac one may be an exclusive 5th? Yes, or maybe the fifth one will be released later.. Quote

I don't think I said the torso was white, I couldn't really see it And yes I only saw 4, so there could be an exclusive. Quote
Ezekiel2517 Posted August 28, 2014 Author Posted August 28, 2014 So the mystery figure is a guy with sleepy kid hair, stubble, and a kinda white costume? Quote
Hulk_Smash Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I never said what he was wearing because I couldn't see what he was wearing, I said he was a white male, meaning his skin colour. Quote
DJ Bricks Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Gosh I hope that's not the case! New 52 Captain Cold is just terrible (As are most New 52 designs). I really hope he's just the classic version; and I'll be very disapointed if he is New 52. But...I could totally see that happen. I agree, prelims are sucky due to changes, remeber green and yellow Electro, but we got the blue instead. Ptobably the case here. And i do hate most of the changes with 52, though i do like some too. Though with Grodd and Manta in LB3 being based on 52 and looking offical, i would doubt Cold not being 52 either. And i bet the guy in the cockpit is Grayson, he has an offical look to him in the game. Quote
deskp Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) Grayson is alot better than some random thug or wahtever. But a more prominent hero would have better better, but the fig does indeed look cool. Edited August 28, 2014 by deskp Quote
Ezekiel2517 Posted August 28, 2014 Author Posted August 28, 2014 I never said what he was wearing because I couldn't see what he was wearing, I said he was a white male, meaning his skin colour. OK thanks. Just making sure because everyone has been saying that. What color was his hair, maybe it's only a stand in for another color hair. Thanks in advance. Quote
Ezekiel2517 Posted August 28, 2014 Author Posted August 28, 2014 So basically he could be anybody. Maybe the hair is a stand-in for another color or a completely new piece. It would make sense that he's a character that can't fly, since he's the pilot. Quote
Ashnflash Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Thanks for all the information Hulk_smash. You really threw me off with the black hair and white. So now I'm thinking Dick Grayson don't know why he would be in the set though. Quote
psqidexslizer248 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) @Ezekiel2517. As long as it isn't a stand in for the new Bat-cowl . Edited August 28, 2014 by psqidexslizer248 Quote
halomaster96 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Maybe it's billy batson. He has that hair in the game. And maybe shazam is also in that set but isn't shown because billy is or he's in the brainiac set Or he's in that set for all those people with sdcc shazam? (God I hope it isn't the last one) Quote
Ashnflash Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 According to Hothbricks (http://www.hothbricks.com/2014/08/nouveautes-lego-2015-recapitulatif-rumeurs/) there are 6 marvel sets one numbered 76041 and Brainiac Attack 76040 which is different which means it is an exclusive because it is different then the other sets.
