Kizmoz Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) While all these new Heroes and Villains will be gratefully accepted, I wish we found out a month sooner as only just put together this frame... :/ Now gonna have to put together a new one (or 2) lol, mind you will look a lot better especially when surrounded by framed copies of the DC variant covers coming soon :) Edited August 28, 2014 by Kizmoz Quote
psqidexslizer248 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 According to Hothbricks (http://www.hothbrick...ulatif-rumeurs/) there are 6 marvel sets one numbered 76041 and Brainiac Attack 76040 which is different which means it is an exclusive because it is different then the other sets. That and Hulk_Smash reported that it is not in the retail catalog. Unfortunatly, that still gives us no idea what the price is. Quote
_epicster_ Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Grayson seems insanely unlikely, I didn't even know about him until the LB3 reveal of him. Isn't a fairly new character in DC anyway? Quote
tafkatb Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Yeah, pretty new, I mean he's only been around for 74 years. But, yes, the current series in which he operates under his civilian identity rather than Robin or Nightwing or Batman only recently debuted. Quote
halomaster96 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Agent Grayson is a very new series. I'm pretty sure it's only on its second maybe third issue. I really hope that isn't the fig we're getting I'd much rather have Shazam. Quote
8BrickMario Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) A car, a mech a jet, Flash, Wonder Woman, Batman, Captain Cold, Bigfig Grodd... how much is that set exactly?!? Hmmm. A white guy with black hair. I doubt it's Grayson, due to his obscurity in the public mindset. I don't know, but it could be a really off placeholder. Edited August 28, 2014 by 8BrickMario Quote
Kizmoz Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 most likely a placeholder piloting the ship, could be any member of the league and not necessarily someone with stubble and black hair... It would need to be a big name though I guess if they're going up against Darkside... (only one that comes to mind to match is Batman with his cowl down) Atom? Firestorm? Tornado? Superboy? Quote
deskp Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Do we know when this wave is going to be released? Quote
TheStrategist Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I remember last year someone drew pictures of the hulk lab and the hydra "tank" sets before the pictures where leaked. Was that hulk_smash? The drawings where pretty accurate to the box art and they gave us an idea of what the actual sets looked like. No, that was CM4Sci. Quote
8BrickMario Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 (edited) I think the focus on LB3 has overridden this wave. The most Arkham representations the theme has had were 2013 Mr. Freeze and the Robin in Arkham Asylum Breakout. We got minimal influence from City and none from Origins, so don't expect anything from Knight. Edited August 29, 2014 by 8BrickMario Quote
DJ Bricks Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Grayson seems insanely unlikely, I didn't even know about him until the LB3 reveal of him. Isn't a fairly new character in DC anyway? No, its Dick Grayson, after the events of Forever Evil, in which the villians. Captured him as Nightwing and using WW's lasso, made him reveal his identity. Dick than took on the Grayson moniker. Awesomeguy Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 (edited) Hey Hulk Smash what all did you see in the Darkseid set. Because i am huge DC fanboy and I like DC more than Marvel Edited August 29, 2014 by Awesomeguy Quote

So an opptunity to make him public knowledge, and placeholders for charaters to be included are final, though designs can change, and they have Hawkman in the set too. Quote
BartSimpson Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 I think joker needed a mech in steeds of batman IMO Quote
DJ Bricks Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Hey Hulk Smash what all did you see in the Darkseid set. Because i am huge DC fanboy and I like DC more than Marvel Big fig Darksied with some gun thing Cyborg Hawkman Superman And the Javilan with an unknown pilot Quote
Zergos Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Captain Cold? Oh my goodness YESSSSSS!!! Bout time flash gets someone from the rogues to face. Day 1 buy for sure. Quote
Captain America fan 1 Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 The one time I lose my ipad for a week...THIS. HAPPENS!! Captin cold is great, love the darkseid and grodd minifigures, black manta and braniac are awesome villains, and the heros are sounding great. Even bat mans vehicles are awesome. My money is slowly slipping away, though, and marvel hasn't even been revealed. Thanks so much for the news Hulk_Smash, and I am really looking forward to it! Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 I don't see why Billy Batson would be flying the Javelin, although it would be nice to have Shazam in some form or another. Dick seems like the most likely right now, since we actually have a design for him that DC would want to push, but I think we should think a little harder. We know that the pilot has to fit these criteria: Spiky black hair White A or high-B List Hero Most likely no ability to fly Male Possibly has stubble, or is at least old enough to That opens quite a few doors. Kyle Rayner hasn't been a big deal since the 2000's and I doubt that they'd want two different Green Lanterns in one wave. The hairpiece exists in enough colors that they wouldn't need to use it as a stand-in for any alternate color save for orange (which could possibly make Jimmy Olsen an option, though an unlikely one). A Robin variant would be too young for the stubble aspect. Superboy seems possible but also very unlikely. Hulk, what expression did the head have? That could give us a clue as to personality. Quote
tafkatb Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Heck, it could just be a generic Watchtower guard for all we know. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Atom? Firestorm? Tornado? Superboy? Atom has a cowl, Firestorm can fly, and Red Tornado doesn't have hair and can fly. If you're referring to Captain Atom, I think he can fly, too, but that might be a possibility. Heck, it could just be a generic Watchtower guard for all we know. I doubt that they'd get desperate for Superheroes enough to include the Watchtower staff so soon. I considered that, too. While all these new Heroes and Villains will be gratefully accepted, I wish we found out a month sooner as only just put together this frame... :/ Now gonna have to put together a new one (or 2) lol, mind you will look a lot better especially when surrounded by framed copies of the DC variant covers coming soon :) Maybe one JL/Legion of Doom and one Bat-Family/Bat-Rogues?
