I remember how someone said (without sources) that Legos set figure designers have the lone say in the designs unless corporate gives some specific instructions, which by looking at what we got was "make all the heroes New 52 and do whatever you want with the rest"

New 52 Grodd is imposible anyway, or do you see any way how Lego could give big figs capes without overhauling big fig designs to something easier and cheaper to design for?

P.S. @ the Captain Cold discussion:

The figure on the prelims uses the classic Captain Cold hood, even in lightblue (indicating that it isn´t a stand-in because of the new color) and you guys talk for 5 pages how New 52 Cold looks and how bad that fig would be? You really make most of your problems yourself.

Actually, Sinestro is 52 based. I just looked at the prelims and the hood is Han's blue Hoth suit.

Plus dont forget Marvel prelims had Classic colored Electro, and Doc Ock was a blanck version of jis SM2 outfit, when we did get a blue Electro and a white green and yellow Ock.

I could see the Grodd being capeless for his 52 apprearence. He took it off for the fight or whag ever.

And Cold uses some head that looks like white goggles/glasses.

The site where the pictures came from said Brainiac Attack was 29 euros= $29 and the Darkseid set was 79 euros = $79 most likely.

P.S. Are these the versions of the Justice we will be getting.

So if we are basing the minifies in the sets off of this, then do people think that that means Cyborg will be getting leg printing and Wonder Woman will finally be getting her signature bulletproof bracelets? Because that would be awesome!

lego does lots of leg printing feet print apppens aswell. wodner woman will not get bracelets no. dont be too litteral about every detail.

Is the old/current Wonder Woman made of Chinese plastic? I'm not sure (I need to buy more Lex Mech sets, which I think is still being sold after all this time). She does have like the most extreme leg printing ever.

I'm betting that, since they chose to go with a bigfig for him, Darkseid will be based on his New 52 appearance. He's freaking huge in the New 52.

That will make an awesome big-fig. Just to top up the already excellent Javelin set, the design of the Javelin in very accurate and it is defiantly the best Super Heroes build IMO.

So the next wave that we know about after this one is the Batman vs. Superman sometime in like Spring of 2016, so is it possible to get another comic book based winter wave like this wave before the Batman vs. Superman sets are released?

Unlikely - Batman v Superman comes out in March 2016, and movie-based sets tend to come out a good month or two before the film is released. Doesn't leave a whole lot of time for a whole wave beforehand. Doesn't mean they can't throw in one or two comic sets alongside the BvS wave (like the X-Men set that came out in tandem with the Avengers wave), but that could be wishful thinking.

I know that both her legs and lasso were individually packaged, but I don't remember if her hair was. I know Supes hair was for some reason, so I suspect WW's might have been as well.

Would be nice as its quite special, the first lego Darkseid if he had a new mould with some more pose ability and not in that stupid leaning forward pose that plagues the green goblin, it works on hulk and would on grodd but darkseid is more upright and towering. That head down thing would look ridiculous on him and the legs at least could they be stuck in a more vertical manner rather than the whole one foot forward thing.

I think they might go the down-looking route with all bigfigs, as the normal minifigs would not be able to go "face to face" with a bigfig otherwise...so playability would not be given anymore.

Another winter wave in 2016 is pretty much out of the question, but a summer wave in 2015 is possible.

that would make her bracelets go super far up her arm.

the t-shrt arm molds are a certain length, lego would have to make a new one if they wanted to do one from "bracelets/gloves" and I don't think they would be doing that anytime soon.

Yup, as you can see in my review, all of her parts except the head and torso were inside a China bag. I do hope they give her bracelets this time around. Mold-injected ones that go all around the arm like the Simpsons would be preferred of course, but printed ones ala the Battle Goddess would work too.

Agreed, I also hope that he comes in his typical upright pose. I know that TLG does this leaning pose to make the bigfigs more balanced, especially when holding objects (they even gave Gollum this pose because of this), but it just wouldn't suit Darkseid. As for Grodd, the pose with the leg forward would probably work for him, although I think his back should lean backwards like that of a gorilla.

Han was dark blue, Cold is light blue on the pic, it´s not the same. Like I said "do whatever you want with villains". It was probably chosen so his suit is more in line with the New 52 Green Lantern and overall, the differences between New 52 and old Green lantern designs are barely noticeable.

Marvels prelims were also all CGI where they can use everything they want while for the mock-ups Lego has to use pieces they have/can produce which indicates that they produce a new version of the eskimo hood. The change of Electro was probably more motivated by Lego wanting to use the appearance in the movie and Lego not knowing if they have the rights to that character design.

Yeah, the one from Nova. I know Prelims use different parts then the final product (should be kinda obvious to everyone at this point with Hulk and Ultimate Goblin in DC sets) but I have never encountered a prelim pic that showed a part with a new print or color that was changed again for the final set and that hood is new.

I could see them making a caped Gorilla Grodd bigfig. I wouldn't be hard whatsoever to design a big-figure to be able to attach a giant purple cape to.

How? The way I see it they would need to make removable heads and I don´t see them do that since they would have to do that with every big fig which results in more moulds that have to be made for further new big figs.

Either way, making new bigfig molds must not be that expensive; heck there's tons of bigfigs that are used only once anyways; it's not too often that we have ones like Hulk who make return apperances.

It´s only not expensive for them because they just up the price for sets with new big figs. Just compare how few content the Helicarrier Breakout has next to the Lab Smash.

Well..It seems dark blue to me, too :D But after all those are still prelims, so we all do not know for sure.
