The Minifigs look great but the only two set I like 100% are the Brainiac set and the GL set, the others are ok ,

the Darkseid set could have used a bit more of a build and maybe a minion for Darkseid( the javelin looks good thou).

the black manta set: the subs look kind of thrown together.

the grod sets: I don't like the builds, a mech, an invisible jet and a little truck thing that Grods attacking for bananas (Grod Hates bananas).

Hey guys, I'm new on the block, but I've been reading this forum for at least a week now, so I know what's going on. First of all, I want to say that I am really impressed with these sets! They look very diverse with a plethora of new characters. But here's the juicy stuff-the prices have been announced! For 76028 Darkseid Invasion, the price is $59.99. For 76025 Green Lantern vs. Sinestro, the price is $19.99. For 76026 Gorilla Grodd Goes Bananas, the price is $39.99. For 76027 Black Manta Deep Sea Strike, the price is the same as 76026. And 76029 Braniac Attack is $24.99. Personally, I think that Braniac Attack is a little high but that's just me...

Woah! If thesea are true, I think that's phenomenal! Where did you hear this info from?

I got it from this European website, I tried to send the link to it but the comment was immediately flagged and deleted by the website, so obviously they don't want people to see this news. I think it was like a European exclusive online toy catalog or something... :look:

Like there was a member on here that worked for the site and I guess he saw the link and reported it or something...I'll try again but I don't know if it will work... :sceptic:

It didn't work! I'm really sorry guys, I really wanted everyone to see this...I don't want to try again for fear that I might be banned or something, I don't know since I'm brand new here :cry_sad:

But I promise the news I bring here is nothing but the truth, I would never pull a prank on you guys! I don't want to gain a bad reputation on my fourth post..

My Updated Predictions (The'yre the same to what mattdev25 said)

76028 Darkseid Invasion - $59.99

76028 Darkseid Invasion should not be $69.99 or anywhere higher because it only has around 545 pieces, whereas the 6860 The Batcave (at $69.99) had 689 pieces and 76013 Joker Steamroller (at $49.99) had 486 pieces.

76027 Black Manta Deep Sea Strike and 76026 Gorilla Grodd Goes Bananas - $39.99

The amount of pieces in the sets are 387 and 347, respectively.

76029 Brainiac Attacks - $24.99

Think of it as the Power Armour Lex set ($19.99) plus one minifigure.

And we should all know Green Lantern v Sinestro is $19.99.

Unless you really want Black Manta and/or Scuba Robin and/or another Batman variant, I advise that you not buy the Black Manta set. If you don't already own it, get the Arctic Batman v Mr. Freeze set.

I'm so excited for new Wonder Woman minifig and I'm glad that we're actually getting an invisible jet. Batmech--not so much.

YES!! Oh, please! These prices are phenomenal compared to the earlier rumors. And it will make it that much easier on the wallet, which is going to be riddled with bullets, melted with acid, and thrown into one of AntiMatter's black holes!

Those are very fair prices. Much more so than what we were originally told. I was gonna only pick up GL and Darkseid right away, but if they're truly this much I may have to add Grodd onto that.

Any reasons why? I don't think the builds are that bad.

I'm already budgeting for this. Figure we probably won't see these on shelves until late December... that's 3 months. Let's just say around 200 with tax. That's 67 a month. No more eating out! Lol

Yeah I should make it more clean. If you want the entire Justice League in Lego form, skip out on the Black Manta set. I wouldn't want another Batman build and Black Manta's sub is a bit small.

For some reason I can't explain, I don't like the Batmech.

More like late November (in the US). Legos will make us skinny.

I can get that. It seems like there's a lot of large and basic parts on it

Lots of people say December is the earliest we'll see them, but I could see them coming out mid to late November so it coincides with the release of the game.

Get the Grodd set first - it's got a whole box of bananas so you won't starve. :P

Haha not saying I do often but a night out with the wife and 2 kids is usually 40. If we skip out on that once a month we will be that much closer. Lego is so much more fun as a family hobby. My kids love it. My wife loves it. We are all very excited for this wave.

That's actually a really good point. I hope that's true, because I just NEED Green Arrow!

It's a little odd that every set Flash has been in has featured a banana. Do they have a some kind of a quota to fill or something? lol

I guess its the Flash's weakness. Batman better start carrying some just in case the Flash goes evil. :P

Different context. The first set used one for cartoon logic, the second is pure LEGO humor. Grodd would never attack a banana truck in the actual comics, but they gave the all-clear for it to be made, so DC apparently has a good sense of humor.

Can't you just tell us the name of the site so we can look it up? No offense, but it's kinda hard to believe you when you can't back up your claims. Don't worry, you wont get booted off the site just like that. You usually get a warning first, and links are usually just removed if they are spam or confidential pictures, so maybe you're just doing something wrong.

The prices sound reasonable for the most part, although I do agree with StreakofBlue that the Darkseid set should be less, despite the new molds it includes.

Sorry, but I disagree. While I have to admit that the Batboat is better than the Batsub, this set is much better minifigure-wise since Black Manta is new and better than that constipated Mr. Freeze. This Batman variant is also much more useful than Arctic Batman (unless you're planning to get the Grodd set) and you get a new Robin to boot. The scenery and Manta's sub are pretty cool too in my opinion. Well worth paying double the price.

As for the Batmech, I don't think it's that bad either. It certainly could have been better, but it's good enough. The only thing that kind of bothers me is that the cockpit is so exposed, but I understand that they did this so that Batman can "super-jump" out of it.
