I've got a question: is this a OT stormie in Ezras Speeder Bike? And is the other guy really this cloud city race? He looks like he has normal legs and not small.

And why does the arc pilot wear a rebel helmet?

Neither the new OT stormies or Rebels stormies were used in the photos even though both versions are already out now. They used old style OT stormies as stand ins regardless of which categories they fall into.

what are the geonosis troopers based on? they look like they are made up by Lego. the aat is certainly disappointing. it seems ezra's speeder bike doesnt include an ugnaught. i like the microfighters, i am not sure if the homing spider droid includes a security droid or a geonosis pattern battle droid.

If you look at on of the officers in the ATDP set (on the right in the middle) he has a white face.

And that Senate Commando troopers set is the one that has been cancelled

The white extremis looking soldiers are the Atdp Pilots that wear the Ezra helmets we have seen.

You can see the character in black is supposed to be Kallus because he has that Zeb like weapon.

Thanks for posting the link to that pic! The micro fighters look pretty cool, definitely getting the snow speeder and AT AT, probably the Spider Walker and Gunship, too.

I like the looks of that AT-DP more than I thought I would. Probably will pick that up as well.

The battle packs look great! Can't wait for them to start hitting the shelves.

One by one:

T-16 Skyhopper: I like the octagonal flaps, clever way to make that difficult shape work. I'm hoping that they don't think that that rat counts as a two meter Womp rat. Unless it's a SW:tOR era Womp Rat, in which case it's actually about right. Also, new Tusken Raider!

Senate Commando Troopers: Not exactly sure why Senate Commandos would need a AV-7 Cannon with a chain-gun mod. Not a bad set, just doesn't make sense to me.

Geonosis Troopers: Is that a Republic Commando? If so, high five. Another chain gun. I take it that's one of the new pieces for this wave.

Hailfire Droid: Too small for very many thoughts. I do think that this will be one case where the new missiles fit the model, though.

AAT: I can't decide if this one is too small or just right. Either way, those tan pieces look nice.

Imperial Troop Transport: Definitely one to stock up on. It looks like LEGO finally decided to give us a good army builder. Now, if they only had guns, they'd be perfect. With the functional but media inaccurate stud-shooters...

Shadow Troopers: Well, it will be useful to have that part in black, I suppose. Other than that, not too much to comment on.

AT-DP: It's a chicken walker, that's not a chicken walker. Not much else to say.

Ezra's Speeder Bike: Are we going to see the Disney Pink Approved Mandalorian Princess in this one? Looks like not. The bikes don't look bad at all, though.

Tie Advanced Prototype: Very, very...round. Not a bad build, just...round.

Wookie Gunship: Cool! We get to see all the defenses that the Wookies clearly had at the time of the movie! Remind me, again, how exactly did the Empire enslave thousands of them?

Anakin's Custom Jedi Starfighter: For $50, it better be a good custom...

ARC-170 Starfighter: Not bad. Even better if it's an exclusive helmet print.

Vulture Droid: You do realize, LEGO and Disney, that kids do realize that the droids are sentiment by themselves, and don't need a pilot?

Snowspeeder: No issues here, just your standard Micro Fighter build.

AT-AT: AT-AT? All I see here is a strangely built beetle with pie pans taped to his feet. Of which he has only four for some reason.

Republic Gunship: The average.

Homing Spider Droid: I like this one, for some reason. They managed to get the proportions about right.

The set I was really looking forward to from this wave was The AAT, and it just seems so.. tiny. I'm hoping it will look better when official pics come out, but something is just off about it Imo.

I believe he's pointing out that the Clone torsos with Stormtrooper helmet are placeholders, not that this possibly a Clone or Republic set.

I will wait with my final judgements, but so far the AT-DP is the only set I really like.

Senate Commandos are odd. I know they are said to be cancelled and prelims, but still... Even prelims could have had the real Senate Commando helmets if they were meant to be the TCW Senate Commandos. Odd. Perhaps some Imperial Senate Commandos?

Another oddity is the micro-Republic Gunship not having a pilot, but a commander as far as I can see it.

Stormtroopers. Strange things happen in prelims. These prelims could have been taken before both the newest OT and Rebels stormtroopers were finalized. Noticed that the summer wave OT and Rebels stromtroopers are not in any of these pictures.
