I do like the look of the movie (from the short bit I've seen) but I do think it looked a bit strange at the start when that guy dressed as a storm trooper just popped up.

Rarely those kind of trailers make excited but there are always exceptions.I cannot wait for the new movie and for what Lego has in store for us.After seeing the falcon I bet my money we'll get a new version of it.

And that truly flawless trailer has even sold the new X-Wings to me. Before, when I had seen the pics, I didn't even like them. That's another set I'll definitely be getting.

Yeah, thats the one thing from then trailer that I'm worried about. Hopefully the find a way to make it without the hilt being ridiculously large. Plus, they'll need super tiny re blades for the cross guard.

It's doubtful that Lego will do so; if they do, it's probably going to be in an expensive set.

Well the inquisitor's lightsaber from the 75082 set looks fine,so I have faith in Lego.

Speaking of helmet molds, I bet that pilot's helmet from the trailer will be in that "new X-Wing" set if it's going to be made. Cross our fingers in unison!

One thing I'm really hoping is that LEGO does away with the micro-fighter sets in favour of more sets placed around the 30-50$ range.

My hope is that we get 10 sets: 2 big flagship sets above 100$, 2 or 3 sets around 60-80$, 3 or 4 sets around 30-40$, and then small sets like battle packs and small ships between 15-25$. And hopefully the whole wave is 100% The Force Awakens (which is most likely, since such was the case with ROTS in 2005 and The Clone Wars in 2008). Also, I really hope that we get only the necessary variants for the characters (so if Boyega only has two costumes through the whole film, we should get only two versions of his character, to avoid main character repetition, which never really has been that huge of an issue with Star Wars).

a new mold for the lightsaber is not a big problem. Did you forget the Dooku and Ventress lightsabers ???

the new X-Wing, is not an exact "X". there is only the botton half in the upper wing and the anterior half on the lower wing. I could not see any astromech droid. I really prefer the old helmet, but its ok for me.

The rolling astromech is so weird! I can't see it happening unless you can attach the head to a ball ha ha.

I think the hole for the crossguard will go all the way through the mould, with a red, transparent new shortened pole peice (it's used in the Hobbit and LOTR lego a lot) going right through it. That might look awful though.

I'd suggest we hold ourselves on condemning the light excalibur right away, do you remember the critical reception the Inquisitor got when a poster made his lightsaber look like a pirate sword? And look at our views on that mould now!

I can't wait for the new stormies battlepack, with either four identical troops or three and a chrome-to go alongside the dropship we saw in the trailer and a Gwendilen Christie minifig.

I'm not going to quote the whole post, but, to Jedi-Bendu's post, we're discussing sets and minifigures which won't come out for a year based on 47 seconds of footage: aren't we all guilty?

They could try using the dwarf spider droid ball peice, but I think if they do make it it will be a unique peice, especially as specic moulds are much more common now (the Inquisitor has three)

The ball droid thing may not even come out in Lego form. For all we know, he could just be a background character. It would be less likley for him to be background, yes, but it's still a possibility.

I think the thing I am most exited for with Star Wars 7 is to see what happens with the Sith. Will we see a retuning apprentice? Will we see a returning Sith Lord? Will they both be new? Who knows!! All I know is that 2015 is going to be one exiting year.
