Jedi-Bendu Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 (edited) After the UCS shuttle a system one can only be a step down. For people who don't collect UCS (like me) it's fantastic news. I'd love to see a new system scale sandcrawler as well (I don't have high hopes tho') Edited December 26, 2014 by Jedi-Bendu Quote
montgocloud Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 We've needed an Imperial Shuttle for a while! I'd much prefer some Imperial Captains and Admirals as opposed to another Han and Leia though. Also, an Imperial Carrier for $130? I wonder how they'll fill that price... Maybe it'll include a couple midi-scale TIE Fighters? Quote
deskp Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Definitely, wow. Could launched mean actually put on shelves or the stage of the process where the final design is approved, when we usually see the finalised product? Because september seems really early for merchandise from a top secret film being released in December. The sets are approved long before that. September isnt that early, it's star wars they are all about toys. Besides the movie is just top secret uintill it no longer is. Example: everything in the teaser was secret BEFORE the teaser was released. Now, not so much. Quote

Venkefedo Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 75093 Death Star Final Duel: Luke Skywalker(Same one in Ewok Village), Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, Sim Aloo-$49.9975094 Imperial Shuttle Tydirium: Han Solo(Endor Coat), Leia Organa(Endor Landing), Orrimaarko, Rebel Commando-$59.99 Good idea with Orrimaarko! But for the Final Duel, the Ewok Village Luke would be a mistake. The tunic flap only falls down as Palpatine is frying him with lightning; during the actual duel, the flap is up. So the same style would be nice, same level of detail, but a new torso print. Quote
namioik Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 (edited) If Lego 75085 hailfire droid is a retailers exclusive, it's target Edited December 26, 2014 by namioik Quote
Jedi-Bendu Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 I don't think the Sandcrawler would translate well to System. The UCS is almost System sized. They did it +-10 years ago. For that time it was good, so I bet they can do it again. Still, I don't have any hopes since there's a UCS out now. Quote
HJR-Holland Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Bit disappointed about that Flash speeder; would have preferred a Gian speeder: - bigger guns - more screentime - nicer colours (and with all the 'Friends' sets also possible in current colours) - Boss Nass stood by a Gian Speeder, not a Flash Speeder Better make one myself then ;-) Quote
Gremer Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Anakin's Starfighter and the Battle Droid Carrier are $40, the Hailfire is $20. Quote
DarthR2-D2 Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Anakin's Starfighter and the Battle Droid Carrier are $40, the Hailfire is $20. Is Anakin's a retailer exclusive? If so, where? Quote
Gremer Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Is Anakin's a retailer exclusive? If so, where? All 3 are retailer exclusive, but I don't know where. I've just got the 2015 catalog. Quote
rollermonkey Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Any more 2015 set sightings in stores yet? Quote
Zzz Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Finally the Tyridium! I'm waiting for a System scale redesign since 7144! Hopefully it will be a great design and not such a disappointment like the latest ATT or MTT. Quote
Doctor_ocks Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Any more 2015 set sightings in stores yet? Just came here to check the same thing. I found the t16 in a target in the Omaha, NE metro area but there was only one and there wasn't a spot for it. It was just kind of stuffed on a shelf. Quote
Valezri Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Any more 2015 set sightings in stores yet? I saw a bunch at a Target in Kenosha, WI. The Wookiee Gunship was only $59.99 I think the Lego site lists it as $10 more. Quote
nrg Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Is the $130 ship from the movies? I think it s from TFA, but only time will tell. Quote
Legoman123 Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 I think it s from TFA, but only time will tell. Oh right, I didn't even think about it been a ship from the movies actually. Quote
DarthR2-D2 Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 So now we've been teased with names (well, mostly). When will we get the prelim pics do you think? Quote
GuyDudeMan27 Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Any more 2015 set sightings in stores yet? I was at Target in Mundelein today and I saw a few Wookie Gunships stuffed on the shelf. I didn't see anything else anywhere though. Quote

TheBrickDaddy Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 I don't think the Sandcrawler would translate well to System. The UCS is almost System sized. Even if the exact dimensions don't carry over to the films, it's definitely designed to be system-sized. It just carries the new UCS label If Lego 75085 hailfire droid is a retailers exclusive, it's target I can confirm this, I saw it at target today. Also, as a general response to everyone wondering about 2015 set sightings, I saw several 2015 Star Wars sets at TRU and Target today. TRU had three of the battle packs (missing the Geonosis troopers), AAT, AT-DP, Wookiee Gunship, the Rebels Speeder Bikes set, and some new microfighters. Target had about about as many, plus the Geonosis troopers (and the Hailfire droid as previously stated). Neither store had the T-16, which is what I wanted I had to settle for the Senate Commandos battlepack, which is a wonderful little set. The new rapid-fire blasters are a bit tedious, but fun nevertheless. Target also had all the new DC superheroes sets, for those who are interested. I think it s from TFA, but only time will tell. I looked it up on Wookieepedia the other night and I believe it's from Rebels, but I couldn't tell for sure. To be honest, I'd prefer if it's from TFA. As you said, only time will tell Quote
Kodan Black Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 I was at Target in Mundelein today and I saw a few Wookie Gunships stuffed on the shelf. I didn't see anything else anywhere though. Target in MA was wiped out pretty much the entire toy section. There were more stockers than customers though, so by this afternoon could have been a different story. Quote
Galaxy Explorer Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 I was at a Target today in Cedar Rapids and saw the Gunship, AT-DP, Hailfire, AAT, and some new Microfighters. Alas, no Skyhopper, which I really wanted. I'm sure one will show up when I get back home! Very, very excited to hear about the new Shuttle- I can't believe we haven't had a new design for this ship since 2001. I hope it's a good one! A Prune Face minifig would be most welcome. Quote
Fives Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 (edited) If the 'wolf' codename actually means that the sets are Rebels, then me and my wallet are very pleased! That leaves me with only two sets I'm genuinely excited about, the shuttle and the duel, and of those the duel is the most important. It always makes me tremendously happy when LEGO makes sets directly based on the duels from the films. Sets like Palpatine's Arrest, the first Anakin's Jedi Interceptor set, and the Duel on Geonosis are some of my favourites for that precise reason. And the duel on the Death Star II has always felt under-represented in recent years. Sure, the scene is in the Death Star set, but thats just a small portion of a huge set. There hasn't been an affordable, up-to-date version of this scene (which can be argued as one of the most important parts of the whole Saga) since 2001, so this is the best news since they announced LEGO Lord of the Rings. I know I'm kind of just ranting, but I haven't been this excited for a set in a very long time. August can't come soon enough! Edited December 27, 2014 by Fives Quote
