I saw all the new 2015 sets here in NY... Long Island TRU. All but Anakins JSF and the Rebels Walker. The Inquisitor and his TIE are surprisingly awesome!

They did it +-10 years ago. For that time it was good, so I bet they can do it again.

Still, I don't have any hopes since there's a UCS out now.

Both Sandcrawler sets are roughly the same size, and both are considered "system scale" while at the same time UCS. Both were high priced D2C Exclusive sets. The newer officially labelled UCS set is simply a modern rework of the older one, that gets the angles and aspect rations closer to the stupid model and adds a bunch more texturing and detailing. I don't think we will ever see one smaller, at least not for a long long time. As some said its not a subject you can really reduce much and still maintain its visual impact and sense of scale.

Strange that the imperial assault carrier is filed under classic and not under rebels.

Might that possibly be a way of describing an Acclimator? A major Republic Clone Wars and later Imperial ship that we have never seen in System Scale from Lego?

Sounds like we're getting another Hoth Echo Base near October, D2C or not.

Is this from your source?

Bit disappointed about that Flash speeder; would have preferred a Gian speeder:

- bigger guns

- more screentime

- nicer colours (and with all the 'Friends' sets also possible in current colours)

- Boss Nass stood by a Gian Speeder, not a Flash Speeder

Better make one myself then ;-)

You da real mvp. Gian speeders are so tight, Lego really needs to make one. It'd be a great speeder to include only generic Naboo troops - picture a $25ish battlepack with a Naboo pilot, Security Guard, Palace Guard, Gungan soldier, and Handmaiden (red/orange outfit).

So hyped. Yularen! Finally! Another Clone Wars hole filled.

Still very early to report but it looks like we'll be getting an Admiral Yularen minifigure during May the 4th. Also a new Hoth Echo Base will be released in October. I got more details of other promos over at http://www.thebrickf...-promo-details/.

Shoot didn't even see the same post from a few posts ago. My bad.

<p>^^

I think it could be according to this topic: http://www.eurobrick...try2087012the echo base has a 10... Digit code number which is used for UCS sets.

Edit: Sorry, that code ws referring to another set. The Base is classified under a "main set" in that topic so it could be the flagship.

Boss man.....every month has a "main set". The fact that he is only leaking monthly exclusives shows that the hoth base is the fall exclusive for Star Wars.

Damn, not another one! Still, I might actually get it this time for the updated figs, especially if theres more if those brilliant snowtroopers. Mixed feelings about Yularen, nice that we're getting him but nothing like the Revan we got last year.

As much as I love Hoth stuff, the last Echo Base set literally did nothing for me... I seriously hope they make this one much better, although, I'm not exactly sure how considering the base itself was large and would require a lot of stuff to make it look like a decent base rather than the mess it was last time...

Yularen, if it turns out to be a DS white uniform version is my dream come true. I've been hoping for one ever since I got the DS in 2010, thinking that chances were virtually zero we would get one... Revan on another hand is a decent looking guy from a cool trailer, but doesn't come a mile close to the head of Imperial Security Bureau, so I guess it's all a matter of opinion...

Yularen will be very welcome indeed! As long as they don't go the Clone Wars route... Revan did nothing for me, he's still in his polybag in a box in the closet.

I shall have my opinions on the summer wave when all the sets are revealed, which should come up soon enough with the others announced.

The 'wolf' parts of the unknown sets are confusing however I'm unsure whether they mean all of those sets are from the same series, film etc because the hoth echo base was not originally listed as it's name only 'wolf'. It will be interesting to see what other sets there are!

Admiral Yularen will be nice, strange choice though :classic:

I'm looking forward to seeing what other sets we'll get later in the Summer of 2015. Admiral Yularen's a puzzling choice for a May the 4th promo minifig. Speaking for myself, there are plenty of other minifigs that would generate far better sales than him. Just think of the Hoth Han promo minifig from a couple years ago and the limited buzz created.

looks like I'll have Yularen in the bag. (literally) I usually try to get the SW promo poly, two if it's really good.

When summer comes, I need a Naboo Flash Speeder. The Final Duel sounds good, I guess we'll just have to wait for pics of that one. The Shuttle Tydirium is by far the most intriguing on the list so far. Sure, the UCS is tops, but that thing takes up too much space, is nigh unswooshable, and is too expensive on the aftermarket. We haven't had a system scale Lambda shuttle like this in forever, hell, a lot of us were still in the DA back then, so this is wonderful news.

If winter / fall brings a Hoth set I'm going to have to buy it because I can not ever have enough Hoth for some crazy reason.

Ok, WHY another Hoth set? I admit the Hoth and EchoBase sets that have been released weren't all that great, but come on: over the last say 8 years we've had 2 or 3 AT-AT's, a big EchoBase and a small EchoBase, EchoBase blast doors, the set with the snowspeeder, cave and Wampa, a loose snowspeeder, a set with a cannon, snowspeeder and Rieekan, 2 Hoth battlepacks......

........and over the same period the only Cloud City set we've had was the planet with Lobot and mini Cloud Car....and zero Dagobah sets.

Lego must hate those two locations. There isn't any other explanation.

Still: while I admit I'd take a Dagobah/Cloud City set over a new Hoth set any day I hope Lego nails it this time and releases an EchoBase set that blows the old ones away.

I've neve felt compelled to pick any big Echo Base sets up as I've never felt they captured it too well.

I'm very interested in a large set if they get it right but I agree that Bespin and Dagobah are strangely ignored for now.

Although The Empire Strikes Back is my favorite Star Wars movie, I am tired of all the Hoth sets we've gotten over the years. There are other scenes from EP V that need to be immortalized by LEGO.

Another Echo Base set? I would rather a Cloud City remake any day.

With all these Hoth sets being released, Lego could probably do a whole theme dedicated to Hoth, separate from the Star Wars theme :)

I'm really crossing my fingers that we get the ANH version of Yularen because I could really use a white Imperial officer torso to customize a Grand Admiral Thrawn! Now if only they'd release a Chiss face.

I'm disappointed that we don't seem to be getting a Cloud City UCS, but I'm kind of curious about this Hoth Echo Base set, even though I've already made a big MOC of it but some more parts are always welcome I guess..
