stop with the movie spoilers!

they're in spoiler tags, if you don't want to be spoiled, don't click the them.

So, why are yo in this topic? I mean, ther're talking about the trailers and, here, we're waiting to see the ships from them.

Well said.

Maybe the rumored UCS EchoBase will be revealed at D23? I believe this UCS was scheduled for a october/november release (this was posted months ago).

That seems unlikely as they probably save such shows for revealing more TFA sets. I expect the echo base to be given a seperate media reveal.

Whats the problem if spoilertags are being used?

I mentioned this a few months ago, but I think a reminder would be good: this is a topic about future products; spoilers are to be expected. We're not going to prevent discussion that includes spoilers nor split such discussion off into any separate topics. It would be pretty much impossible to enforce, not to mention really annoying for you guys if staff are constantly stepping in to edit posts or move them around. As long as your discussion concerns sets rumored to be released in 2015 (remember that wishlists and concepts for sets you think we'll see belong in Future Star Wars Sets), it's fine. Spoiler tags are nice, and I recommend using them, but we aren't enforcing use of those, either.

Thanks!

All I can say is that I can't wait to see what Echo Base might look like. Does anyone know when the next event is? (not sure myself don't really follow it all, just go on here to find out after looking on the likes of fbtb)

San Diego Comic-Con starts in about a week.

Wouldn't it make sense to have a thread specifically on theTFA sets? So everyone can avoid or enjoy spoilers as he/she pleases, and discussions would be more focussed.

It would be a nightmare for both staff and members to enforce that separation. We already have enough trouble trying to keep the separation between the Rumors and Future Sets without having it split into "Ep. VII" and "Not Ep. VII" topics. And if you split the Rumors topic, then you have to split the Future Sets topic, and you have to split the Minifig Wishlist topic, and you probably have to split the General Questions topic... Plus, then do you split them into "Ep. VII" and "Rebels" and "Not Ep. VII or Rebels" topics? What about in the future as Disney starts releasing more movies?

I understand the logic behind splitting the topic up, and I know that keeping it all in one topic isn't perfect, but I think the current setup is the best one.

I wouldn't count on it; the D23 Expo isn't exactly the place for licensees to show off their product. It's more of a platform for The Walt Disney Company itself to share inside info on upcoming studio/parks/television projects.

This could change, of course, but to my knowledge Lego's never had an official presence there before.

Wednesday, 6PM exhibit hall opens. If the rumors are true, a whole lot of details about certain things will become very widely distributed. Even if the LEGO reveals aren't until Friday/Saturday, the news is going to have all kinds of spoilery goodness.

Better roll that rock in tighter against the mouth of your cave if you don't want to know anything at all.

Reveal hidden contents

The convention is long enough that they could reveal a set or two a day if they wanted to, and save the big ones for last, or for D23. I have a feeling that this year's D23 is going to be VERY focused on all things Star Wars.

I really hope you're right about that. We need something new to discuss here, and I'm very impatient.

If that rumour is true, it would be very fitting to preview the associated LEGO set. That would make me really happy!

TLG's Twitter is saying Saturday. Rumored to be multiple sets, though, right? So could be both.

Just fixed it.

Nope, no rumor, just random fan talk.

It's official that there will be a set reveal at Saturday, 11am (LEGO twitter). What's everybody's guess what it'll be? Rey's Speeders seems very likely to me, as we've already seen the parts in the catalogue. The Millennium Falcon also seems to be an option, as this vessel seems perfect to pique interest in fans of the original trilogy. Then again, the Falcon has been done in LEGO before. Finally, Kylo Ren's shuttle! Kylo seems to be THE face of Episode VII, so I think it would make sense to promote him further.

Lego will re reveal the cunstruction figure of first order stormtrooper.

I´m really hoping it´s one of the upcoming TFA sets, however...

Hoth Bricks has posted the Lego SDCC schedule and stated that it´s a possibility they will only officially reveal the Sith Infiltrator (correct me if I´m wrong, my French isn´t that good). That would be a disappointment.

Oh, it would be terribly disappointing not to see a TFA set. :(

Oh they'd better not pass that off as the reveal...

Yup, they said that Lego would likely be revealing the Sith Infiltrator or the First Order Stormtrooper, as the curtains are still down on the whole..."project" of TFA. Again, I personally dislike Disney and what they're doing with this film.
