Wow, those look great! I'm a little surprised they actually went with the colors of Poe's X-Wing instead of the grey and blue one, but I would have been fine with either color combination. I wasn't expecting those two guys in the Falcon though... Kanjiklub Gang? Tasu Leech? They look pretty cool though. I don't really like Chewbacca's stud-shooting bowcaster and prefer the old one.

I'm guessing Tasu is part of the Kanjiklub gang, too, given the similar weaponry the two carry... seems to fit some rumors I've seen. I kinda like the stud-shooter crossbow! But Castle crossbows are plentiful if you prefer those of course.

Yeah, I guess the old one's common enough if I want to replace it. I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually (like with the standard stud shooters), and overall I don't mind them too much as long as they don't fully replace the standard guns.

At least there is a new and accurate windscreen.

The new MF looks very good. A bit more detailed than the previous one. And maybe a little bit more flat, which would be a good thing as well. :)

The new X-Wing looks cool but kind of "odd" due to the colors (perhaps it is because I'm not used to them, yet).

As for the Millenium Falcon, I don't think it's worth the purchase if you have the last version TLG released (the update is not big enough IMO).

They look a lot like the previous versions, but what did I expect? The X-Wing sure looks nice but I'm not a huge fan of black ships, I was hoping for a grey X-Wing. The canopy is amazing, finally a new piece. Guess it'll take some time to see a grey X-Wing from E7 or a classic one using that piece, though. The Falcon sure looks cool in that shot..

But all in all I was hoping for a bit more. (And a grey X-wing...)

I'm with you, really not into the color scheme of this new X-wing, maybe i will pass and wait for a grey and blue version. I don't have the 7965 MF, but maybe I will get this one, but a little pricey.

That x-wing canopy is all the only thing I've seen so far that will be joining my collection.

Those are some very cool looking sets.

But what speaks to me the most are the minifigures. They all look awesome, and look at the detail on some of 'em!

And it's awesome to see that pair of gang members in there, it shows that the underworld of Star Wars, which is some of my favorite

aspects of the Star Wars universe, is going to play a decent role in the film. But I really don't wanna know anything more than that about it, just yet...

Also nice to see the new alien - that Ground Resistance Crew member. I wonder what species he is... looks like a reptile-type of species.

I am looking forward to seeing the other sets and the figures that belong to them, especially the stormtroopers, Kylo Ren and hopefully another new alien,

like a cantina patron or just a molded head alien - I would be fine with seeing an Ithorian head (or any other existing alien mold in a new color) in reddish brown too, though.

So it is the black X-Wing, as speculated! This makes my purchase far more likely. :)

And the Falcon was my most anticipated set in a while, as I didn't buy the 2011 model (or any others). At first glance, it looks incredibly similar to its predecessor. I think there might be more dark grey pieces, which gives the ship a nicer texture, in my opinion. I'm slightly disappointed that the large gaps in the exterior haven't been improved on but hope that the ship's belly was modified to cover some of the uglier exposed pieces from 2011.

The minifigs all look good - although nothing can be said about the pirates(?), yet. BB8 looks more 'stud-y' than I'd hoped for (almost like four spheres, instead of two), but I suppose that was expected if the bottom wasn't going to roll around uncontrollably.

Can't wait to build my first LEGO Falcon on September 4!

No. This new windscreen is only 4L wide.

The names Poe Dameron, Han Solo, Chewbacca all have a Trademark logo...while Finn, Rey and Leech haven't.

Odd.

In the case of Rey and Finn it kinda confirms their last names are huge spoilers

The real question about the windscreen should be is it a tempo or stickers.

I'm slightly worried about the X-Wing's look in the resting position - won't the wings have the back half with studs up and the front with studs down? I hope that won't look ugly!
