It's not we got it officialy at comic con, aswell as there was set pictures online from when they were filming ;)

Thanks for the clarification. Apparently I missed it during comic con, do you happen to have any links where I could get a better look? Was it in the behind the scenes video?

I still think that the Constraction figures are unnecessary.I mean is there anyone here actually excited to go out and buy them???

I couldn't be less interested in the whole Constraction idea. Seems like the kind of thing I would've gotten when i was a kid as a gift from an aunt who doesn't know about toys. In my opinion it's a waste of shelf space. I'm sure there is a market for them, maybe just not the AFOL market.

I completely agree with you. This whole idea seems irrelevant especially now that it comes at the same time as highly anticipated Ep7 sets. Nobody is going to buy construction figures , and Lego will have to discontinue them.

I love how guys like to think that everyone thinks like you, likes what you do, and even gives a flying . . . squirrel . . . about your opinions. I am very much looking forward to the constraction figures and know several other people who are too. Plus "MILLIONS!" of kids! And I think TLG are going to make a mint on those things. I've wanted SW costraction figures ever since I saw the first Bionicle sets in 2002.

Just take a wander over to the discussion thread about Lego Action/constraction figures in general and see how much traffic there is on Bionicles 2.0. Their Bionicles 2015 thread is already at over 600 pages - TWICE what this thread is at. You don't get a discussion like about a doomed product line. Your ignorance of marketing and TLG in general is stultifying!

Lets all just take a chill pill here. Nobody is antagonizing you. Lets all just do what we are supposed to do here and stay on topic. I neither agree nor disagree with your opinion and I'm sure many would agree. As you said, quite ironically: nobody gives a flying squirrel about your opinions. So, lets grow up, stay on topic and stop acting like a bunch of primates.

Are you aware of these constraction set being released in the UK anywhere? I just called my local store (Bedford) and they say they aren't releasing anything until Sept. I've only seen mention of them being released in French stores so far.

It's good that you are interested in this construction figures, but there is no reason to be rude and disrespectful. Note that I didn't say anything about bionicle . Many people including myself are uninterested in construction figures for many reasons. Everyone has a right to express their opinion and if you don't like mine, well ignore it just like I ignore yours.

Seriously? Off topic? I don't know if you've been lurking for months and only just joined as a full member, but our little 'discussion' about constraction figures is so "on topic" compared to some of the discussions that have taken place here. I suggest you do your homework before accusing people of being childish. Also, I wasn't offering an "opinion" but simply presenting facts and observations based on evidence and trends. You would do well to bear that in mind before trashing someone.

And if you think this is heated ("take a chill pill"?), you really haven't been on here long at all. My advice is to do your homework and come back when you have attained some measure of understanding of what has transpired before.

"Ironically", in saying nobody gives a flying squirrel about MY opinions - and in doing so speak on behalf of the entire Eurobricks community - you immediately aligned yourself with the people I was referencing in my post. . . That's irony! :hmpf_bad:

Firstly, great job of ignoring my post. . .

Secondly, how do you defend saying "This whole idea seems irrelevant..." and don't think that is disrespectful to constraction figure fans? I don't have a problem with whether you are interested in the genre or not, but what surprises me is that people who claim disinterest are happy to spend time trashing the theme/topic/whatever rather than simply ignoring it, like those people who bang on about disliking PT sets and only buy OT set and think that somehow they are the purists. This is a Lego discussion forum, in all its themes and genres. I'm being accused of being a meanie because I point out that when someone trashes a release by TLG they clearly don't know what they are talking about because they almost certainly dont run the most successful toy business in the world.

I am all for intelligent debate and discussion and hearing other people's opinions. And from time to time I will call people on their statements, particularly when they fly in the face of evidence (like huge sales) or when they are dismissive of something that is hugely successful. Time will tell how "irrelevant" the SW constraction figures are.

Also, don't take people so seriously. If I was mad at someone I would let them know with the appropriate emoticon . . . . . . As I said.I enjoy intelligent debate. Not going to get that today, it seems. . .

[Ooooh, now that WAS rude!]

The First Order Snowspeeder is still a big mystery. According to the product description on the Spanish version of Amazon (posted by Hoth Bricks) the set will include 2 snowtroopers and 1 snowtrooper officer.

So assuming the new FO snowspeeder is similar to the T-47 or McQuarrie's concept of T-47... then who's going to fly the speeder? Are the troopers the pilots for this speeder?

Could it be that this First Order Snowspeeder is more like a Naboo flash speeder/Luke's landspeeder/Mandalorian speeder used for transporting First Order troops on a snow planet? What do you guys think?

NEWS! Guess I was right about the Snowspeeder! https://twitter.com/bravoINTEL/status/632253612593250305

Four more sets need to be revealed, hopefully we get more leaks soon. That snowspeeder set has a really cool looking vehicle, but that price point just doesn't do it for me. $40 for that? At least one more minifigure could have been in that set.

like the Snowtrooper officer with his pauldron and Kama. Not overly keen on the speeder though, think I'll pass (at least until I see the film!)

I'm really glad this leaked; there's been tons of leaks for other Force Friday products but prior to this there had been nothing recent from LEGO. I was getting a bit worried.

Honestly... it doesn't look that interesting. The design seems a bit random to me. You could clearly see the design they were going for with the Mandalorian and Flash Speeders, but this speeder just seems like a grey box with a few mounted guns. Ah, well, that's okay with me. It means I can save $40. Plus, I'm sure we'll see the Snowtroopers again in the future (perhaps as soon as January with the First Order Battle Pack).

Ooooh, I actually like that design! It looks much more like a military vehicle than a lot of Star Wars designs do, and it looks like it could carry a number of troops. The minifigs are superb, and above all the price per piece is actually unusually good- 444 pieces for $40 is not shabby at all.
