Rumor is Luke and thus, R2 may only have a brief appearance at the end of the film. No Leia either.

Edit by Hinckley: This thread is for set rumors not movie rumors. Please keep talks of the movie for the Community Forum. Thank you.

Luke features in one scene at the end where he is passed his lightsaber (from Empire). Queen Leia is in it a bit more, mainly towards the end.

The sets are nice - not epic - but nice. Think a few of them can only be appreciated in person, notice a lot of sets don't come across well in pictures but are great 'in hand'.

Bit of a pic and mix with mini figs - some are rather lazy (first order crew and officers with barely any printing, same with resistance fighters). Feel like we're a bit too First Order centric with these sets and wanted some Resistance tech.

That TIE is just the 2012 set in black, not the designers fault mind you. Glad I sold my old grey one, don't need duplicates!

Lots of new headgear for my imperial army and I wonder how the troop ship and shuttle look inside

Amazed we go from a pic on eBay to full reveal - that ain't an accident, that's damage control

The Stormtrooper transport looks a bit, I don't know, short. The box (what I assume is the cabin) on top looks too big compared to the length of the ship. I really want to love it due to the minifigures but I'm sure it'll grow in me and I'll end up picking it up soon enough.

The snowspeeder is the one I'll most likely buy first since it's not too expensive and I really, really like the design of it.

Kylo Ren Shuttle is my least favorite of The Force Awakens sets this year.Kylo Ren head looks too big with the helmet thingy, and I hate the look at Kylo Ren's lightsaber in the set.I prefer to have small lightsaber blades molded at the lightsaber hilt.

WOW. These do look better than I expected! Then, I look at the prices though....

The price distribution is a little out of whack. No sets around the $10 mark. It jumps from $20 to $40 and then there are literally four sets close to or over $100.

I used to like when sets were tiered at price points that made sense but this a little steep to accept. I understand that the price per piece ratio, new molds, and minifigures aren't cheap but really some of the sets like the snow speeder have stud shooters galore which inflate the piece count.

Okay, sorry for the rant. On the other hand I am impressed that the sets look as good as they do and the figures in each one make sense. Some of the sets are literal army builders and that's pretty neat and unexpected. Seriously if you get all the sets related to the first order you literally have a small army  . I also like the accessories they have too with the kamas and shoulder pauldrons. The ships look a lot more accurate to the film than I ever expected them to be. Oh, the new parts too are going to be great for modding sets and custom mocs.

I can't say I'm getting all at the release date but will attempt to pick up the wave over the next year. These sets are something special!

Looking back at the TIE, is there any possibility it could accomodate TWO pilots? Because the set includes two but we can only assume that one of both is in the TIE.

According to the description it does indeed accomodate two pilots.

I would assume it does as the back looks to be extended and it is confirmed the tie seats a pilot and rear gunner.

I was looking forward to these sets, but I'm a bit disappointed at seeing them now. Overall I feel there's some issues with the minifigure designs. I really don't like the ridiculously sized headpieces that everyone seems to be wearing. Likewise there's some design issues--I don't like how they made Kylo's lightsaber at all, which is really disappointing. I hoped they would have made a more unique mold setup for it, as it's so unique. Adding a T-Cross to a regular blade is boring.

The builds are also very similar in apperance, and they generally have a body shape to them. I have to say I was also shocked when I saw the horrendous prices--I don't think I could afford many of these sets even if I loved them.

I was truly looking forward to this new wave of movie based sets, as I hoped to jump back into Lego Star Wars which I was ennamored with when I was young--but these sets just are not doing it for me.

Well crap. I was going to just pick up Rey's Speeder and maybe the new X-Wing, but these other sets look pretty neat as well. I'm really not sure on Kylo Ren, but hopefully the fact that he comes with a hood will make him look better. Some of these will definitely be day one purchases.

Kylo sucks, every time we have seen him so far it's been with the hood over the mask, that is waht lego should have made, that is the icon. its litteraly palstered on every single box and toy packaging.

if they wanted a standalone helmet they should have made that later. there was no technical constraint stopping lego from making a good helmet/hood combo.

And his lightsaber is crap. complete they ccould have just made a new mold that was blades and hilt in 1. mold it in transparent red and paint the hilt. or a number of other options.

So dissapointed.

And no, an old lego hood ontop of a printed 'mask' is not fixing this.....

You know, after reading this I have to agree. Honestly, all the crazy euphoria over this is just because of the new movie I think, and after looking back at them a second or third time there really isn't anything all that special about them. I'm not falling into the merchandising trap that quickly, nope. I'm not going to be suckered into buying it because it has STARWARS plastered on the box. I will pick up two of the sets that I do like, but I am not going to buy everything because I'm excited about the new film. The figs are a little chubby on the headgear side but I will judge that after I see the film. There are new parts though in the sets I like.

I'm going to hold off and see about Echo base before I rush to make any EP7 purchases.

Indeed. I could write a full diatribe about those sets, but it would be a waste of time.

The Falcon looks awesome. Rey's Speeder is quite good too. Other sets are nightmarish... I still can't believe it.

Are you sure those are accurate? The Transporter seems to have way more stuff than Poe's X-Wing, and it's only ten pounds more expensive?

Agreed. I expected some thing totally different. Like AntiMatters hood from lego Ultra Agents

But I'm I the only one who see a dark silver lightsaber handle on Kylo?

This community is so damn ungrateful- "Where are the picture leaks? Why don't we have picture leaks? Hey, set pictures! Oh wait, these suck." These sets look amazing, but the pricing is a shame. My personal favorites have got to be Rey's Speeder and the Transporter.

I'll get the X-Wing and the TIE for sure, but I'll see if my budget allows for the rest. I would get Kylo's shuttle, but the minifig just looks plain horrid, so that's an easy pass.

I agree. People whine and complain because Kylo Ren isn't 100% screen accurate, or because Rey's hood is a bit large. Are you people serious?

The sets look spectacular, and the minifigs (especially the Stormtroopers) look great. I'm buying all of them....once I get some money. XD
