Huh... Someone at TLG made a serious mistake. Look what I found at the side of the 75097 2015 Advent Calendar box:

Of course it does not! I wrote to the TLG support asking about it. There will be a lot of disappointed kids, who hoped to find a Vader figure...

Ugh... Thats a weird mistake.. Maybe its a very early box so they have mistakes?

The advent calendars last year definitely disappeared quickly. I wondered if they had made less since the previous years they could still be found after Christmas. Either way I wouldn't wait at all. The Star Wars craze is about to explode.

Secret surprise?

Seeing that OT Stormtrooper on the Advent Calendar box has got me thinking: could LEGO possibly change their design for the OT Stormie just enough so that they match with the TFA ones? Meaning white hands and printed waists rather than plain black pieces. I wouldn't be surprised, especially with the potential flood of OT Stormies we'll get next year thanks to Rogue One.

Sorry, this is a little off-topic. Just thought it was interesting.

^I really hope lego stop with the black hips on figs that shouldn't have it.

Im not sure white hands is the best option, though I really like it on the tfa troopers.

Hopefully there will still be some advent calendars on a big sale after christmas (maybe 50% off? I wish), since the Rebel Trooper, Stormtrooper, Jawa and Ewok are four incredibly great minifigures to get in one purchase.

I think Vader is hiding in the bottom right corner, behind a present.

That's the Jawa. There is no Vader in any form in the box, I checked.

OT stormtroopers shouldn't have white hands, and TFA ones should. Both of them have white armor plates on the backs of their hands, but TFA troopers have white palms as well, so their gloves are just a strip of black sandwiched between white pieces, while the OT troopers' are mostly black with just a bit of white. Comparing this OT trooper to this TFA one makes it more obvious.

That's quite an impressive mistake to make, most impressive! I'll be interested to hear what they say about it :look:

I wouldn't count on it, last year they were all sold out in the UK during November and I couldn't find one anywhere at RRP :cry_sad: It will be the first chance to get both the Ewok Warrior and Jawa in a (relatively) cheap set so I think that the demand will be equally high, especially when you factor in the surge in interest that's bound to occur due to the new film.

Yeah... I'd get in quick if I were you and if, for some reason, you find some come January then good luck to you.

I'll be picking two of these up as the figs are pretty good I'd say and definitely worth the multiple purchase.

I couldn't agree more, some members on here really get upset over the smallest of things. I get constructive criticism, but then there's just nitpicking.

It's like whatever Lego do, there will always be something to complain about.

Yep, people are being shot down here very easily without proper judgement. You would think everyone is allowed to have a different opinion...

Is Rey's desert headwrap in set 75099 actually supposed to be the same color as her outfit? It kind of seems that way after doing a quick Google search on "Episode 7 Rey Costume."

Edit: I ask because Hasbro's figure, that comes with the speeder, has a matching headwrap and outfit - link to picture of Hasbro's Speeder with Rey figure on Sir Steve's Guide. Lego's does not match.

The shade of her headwrap and her torso is diferent in the movie costume.

Really? It bothers me how people get away with getting sets so early. There's a street date for these things and stores just put it out on the shelves and employees let people leave with the sets in their hands. Honestly it's not fair and where I live, they're so strict about street dates. Why can't every store watch street dates? How do they get away with not getting in trouble by Lego?

Well, Lego has little say on what retailers decided to do. They basically buy the sets themselves (much like we do from them) so they get to decided when to put out stuff on shelves.

Or it could be just an employee trying to get through shipments ASAP.
