I got to play with the FO Transporter at work and it's a great set. Minifigs are beautiful, lots of play features, and a decent amount of room on the inside to carry troops and hold their weapons. The Snowspeeder is also really nice. It looks much bigger when it is built, and is VERY solid.

2 years? Make that 5 years:

Spring 2018: Han Solo anthology wave

Jan 2019: Additional Han Solo anthology sets along with other assorted small stuff, battlepacks, microfighters, etc. as we see in Jan 2018

Spring 2019: Episode IX sets. And then if there's any other sets that year, they'll be more Episode IX stuff.

Spring 2020: Boba Fett anthology wave

And then the cycle of remakes will restart..

I know I'm picking up the X-Wing. For me, it's the best standalone model of the three, and I only need Phasma from the other sets.

Super dissapointed the new C-3PO isn't chrome. Some person has all the ep 7 sets on craigslist locally here in Houston for double the price, haha.Claims (they won't be out until later this month)

Nope. Disney didn't pay 4 billion for one measly sequel trilogy and a couple spinoffs. Star Wars follows the same path as Marvel now: from one film a year, ramping up to two films a year, and three if they can sustain it down the road. Which they most certainly can. Star Wars has been in purgatory for a decade, and hasn't had a beloved movie since the goddamn Soviet Union. This doesn't stop with Episode IX. Episode X, XI, and XII are guarantees - the only question is how many spinoff films and tv shows and Netflix partnerships will fill the gap between IX and X.
