LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors

Ah well, you've missed nothing special. There's just the rumour a very large set will come out, a UCS, just like every year, and the guess is it contains between 3000-5000 pieces. Rumours are it's a Tie.

Nope, those are different ucs.. the new ucs tie would be the same with other ucs ties which will be release on may 2015.. the 3000-5000 pcs set will be the new ucs falcon, cloud city or the tantive iv which will be release late 2015

Semi-related note: I love ROTJ Biker Scout helmets, but despise the Kashyyyk "scout" helmets. The proportions and aesthetics are completely out of whack, and it's evident in the Lego version as well... I mean, it's a nice sculpt, but the 'lens' of the visor is printed sooooo high, because of the movie's screwy proportions! I do wonder what the helmet would look like in white, with a black visor & details printed on, as an ROTJ scout, but I'm not sure the Lego proportions would work. The old ROTJ helmet mold needs to be retired, tho, or improved with some printing.

Mnn the original biker scout helmet is super accurate it just need some printing on the nozzle and side "vent grill" and as you said the rots scout helmet is also very accurate but it does have screwy proportions because of the movie's depiction of the helmet

Why do we even think about a TIE UCS? I can only remember a user saying 'TIE...' or something like that and after that he didn't even answered the questions. This whole thing seems kinda strange.

The user, Said that it would be a UCS TIE released in May. He didn't specify which TIE we would be getting. I know this member is a member on another Lego site hence why he may not have had the time to answer questions.

Different rumor I believe. Way back a couple of people said Lego store branch managers mentioned a "death star sized" lego star wars set, explicitly not the Slave I.

This was also before the Slave I had officially been revealed or leaked.

Same here, it still resembles the 2009 version. But I haven't got it so I'm not entirely sure.

It seems to be the old version, though its hard to tell since the difference in some ships is only minor...

It looks just like the old one. The printed cockpit, escape pods, and engines all give it away. A new Tantive IV would be awesome though, however unlikely.

As much as I would like a Admiral Ozzel minifigure, his inclusion in the series does not indicate he will appear in a set. He also previously starred in Empire Strikes Out.

As Vankafedo rightly pointed out, Lego do create specific vehicles and minifigures for their show, though I can't be the only one rooting for the Jedi School Bus to appear as an exclusive set. Or that truly brilliant 4LOM minifigure...

I'm still waiting on a set based on the Geonosis arena. I'm surprised it hasn't been done yet. It would be awesome if they made a Reek similar to the new Dewback and potentially the Acklay and the Nexu.

You may be surprised, but I'M glad. My budget dictates that it's either a UCS set One set or a year's eve worth of system sets and judging by minifigures like Grima Wormtongue or Denger, the aftersale prices on a Slave One 4LOM would have been horrific.

A Geonosis Arena set, or mini series of sets like the Jabba ones, would be brilliant. However, the molds, uninteresting design of the,sets (I bet you that if it was made, some would compare it to a giant, overpriced Duel on Geonosis). The huge amount of exclusive minifigures would also undermine other sets.

Hopefully 4lom comes along with a decent inexpensive set. However I plan on picking up the Slave 1 anyhow so I suppose it would have been nice to get him. The figs with the Slave 1 are rather disappointing.

Yeah, I would've loved to have seen the bounty hunters, or at least Lando or something along those lines. However, I feel that Fett with arm, leg, back, and CAPE printing makes up for that. I just hope that he gets a better face, one that actually LOOKS like him. I would love to see him have the 2012-2013 Stormie face, but with a white head sock instead of black.
