TWP Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Strange that this has not yet been posted. Pictures of mini AT-DP http://brickset.com/sets/30274-1/AT-DP I think that's clever use of the ball joints in the turret. Quote
Darth Malgus Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 It looks noce for a miniature set. Would be pretty hard to differentiate this and an AT-ST. They did a good job. Quote
Clone 01354 Productions Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Whenever I look at the Inquisitor's new helmet, all I see is Durge. And since they have the mold....and they did one microseries set..... Make it happen Lego. Throw this guy in a $200 polybag, I don't care. JUST DO IT! Quote

Aethersprite Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 They could do a 'speeder bike duel' set, with both Durge and Obi-Wan in their respective speeders. I'd love to see more sets based on the Tartakovsky microseries! Quote
commdr_neyo Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 I wonder if any of you has already seen the 2015 catalogue, if not, here are some of the figure close-ups: newfigs by Commdr_Neyo ☮, on Flickr Quote

I always thought the skiff guard's or shredders helmet looked more like him, but with his added height I think an Azog style mould with some of the body armour attached to his head would give a minifigure his height and bulk, but that's just me. Other than that, I completely agree. Make it happen Lego, please! I've been waiting for a Durge minifigure since I saw him in the Clone Wars series for the first time. Maybe a set in the style of the Rebels speeder set with Obi Wan's speeder, an AOTC style Obi Wan Kenobi, Durge and his blue speederbike with the skull design as well as two lances, Durge's blaster and Kenobi's lightsaber. I myself have seen pics a bit like that, but not those exact images from the catalogue. Edited December 18, 2014 by Lobot Please don't include images in your reply, thanks! :-) Quote

Tarfful Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 (edited) Why pay 45 for a set you can get for 15 bucks in 2 weeks time? because Christmas is in less then two weeks? ;bstill doesn't make an ounce of sense to me either though. people can be oh so stupid.. but hey, c'est la vie. |Tarfful, who can't seem to get Sinatra out of his head now.. Just The Doctor Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Looking at those pics, I can't wait for the battle packs (except geonosis troopers) I love the senate commandos and dark troopers! The tusken head looks way too detailed for Lego... Almost better than any action figure tusken head :/ I also think they should have moulded a new at-dp driver helmet, though. Just my opinions. Quote

Agreed on both... while I don't have any of the AOTC Tuskens, they seemed perfectly serviceable. A 'crown' like Maul/Savage/TOR-Jedi-Knight have might have been nice, but I was never looking for a new head sculpt for them. And the existing AT-AT Commander-style helmet is just too tall for a proper AT-DP pilot helm! But I still like 'em. Quote
Darth Malgus Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Looking at the pics I really like whsy we are getting here... Quote
H_Solo Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Ohh... I'm gonna need those Tusken Raiders! Great Design! Quote
Cyberfounder Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 This looks to be a great wave, but i'm still not sold on the small AAT. The design looks very authentic, but the overall size makes me want to skip this one. I will have to wait for the reviews because i waited 4 years for an update of this model! Quote
hjmediastudios Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 For those interested, Walmart.com has the full 2015 lineup available in the US, with MSRP pricing and shipping fast enough to get 'em by Christmas. Quote
Dragonlego27 Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I love the Shadow Guards, but now I've seen their lightsaber hilts I'm wishing there was an alternative. Any ideas? All I've got so far is a plain lightsaber hilt attached to a flick missile peice. Quote

Or a plain light bley saber hilt attached to the light bley bar the set already comes with? Quote
ISDAvenger Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 You sure about that? I've searched their site and haven't been able to find anything. Care to post a link? They must have taken the link down. I saw them online last night too. Had a few of the sets in my shopping cart ready to place the order, but decided to wait until morning. Guess I should have pulled the trigger, bummer. Said they would be ready for store pickup early next week. Quote
Darth Dino Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Hi what are your thoughts on the new Stormtrooper battlepack minifigures? Are they movie correct, some series correct? Is their mold (mostly the headpiece) movie correct or some series correct? I am just a collector of movie correct sets and minifigures, not TCW for instance. I dont know Yoda Cronicles at all and dont want to ;) The headprint seems is different from the older ones, with blue stripes and more black detail on the helmet stripe. Any source of that? Dino the itt is from the new TV series titled rebels, and the stormtroopers are based on that. The helmet is the most changed part. I actually really like the rebels stormtroopers, but they have got a lot of criticism for the helmets looking "droopy". Quote
hjmediastudios Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Yep, looks like Walmart took them down. They were available to order for a brief window; I managed to snag the Inquisitor's TIE and the Sabine set fast enough that they've already been shipped. Quote
